LYING, in one form or another, is a regular part of many people’s lives in our world today. However, much to the church’s shame, many Christians continue to give in to the temptation to lie their way through life as well. But God looks at things differently. He wants us to be people of integrity and honesty.
Zechariah 8:17. And let none of you imagine evil in your hearts against his neighbour; and love no false oath: for all these are things that I hate, saith the Lord.
Beloved, you should determinedly aspire to be like your loving Father in heaven. He is reputed to be truthful. There is no lying or deception of any kind in Him or with Him.
Numbers 23:19. God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?
Titus 1:2: In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;
Hebrews 6:18: That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:
Beloved, because of this unique unchanging attribute of His, He desired truthfulness at all times from His saints and children and that includes you.
Psalms 15:2. He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart.
Psalms 51:6. Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom.
Zechariah 8:16: ¶These are the things that ye shall do; Speak ye every man the truth to his neighbour; execute the judgment of truth and peace in your gates:
Unfortunately, He discovered false oaths, deception and lies in the lives of the Jews in the days of Zechariah the prophet, so He inspired him to warn them and every saints of all ages, especially you.

Ephesians 4:25: Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.
Colossians 3:9: Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;
Beloved, despite several warnings in the scriptures both in old and new testaments, surprisingly, wicked people from time immemorial, till now are liars and delighted in lying and deception.
Pause here and check up. Should you be caught up in this web, no matter what you profess to be, Christian, believer, ministers etc. Gods word called you a wicked person destined for hell fire, except you repent. See for yourself.
Psalms 58:3. The wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray as soon as they be born, speaking lies.
Psalms 62:4. They only consult to cast him down from his excellency: they delight in lies: they bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. Selah.
Proverbs 6:19. A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.
Proverbs 14:5. A faithful witness will not lie: but a false witness will utter lies.
Proverbs 14:25. A true witness delivereth souls: but a deceitful witness speaketh lies.
Proverbs 19:5. A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he that speaketh lies shall not escape.
Isaiah 59:4. None calleth for justice, nor any pleadeth for truth: they trust in vanity, and speak lies; they conceive mischief, and bring forth iniquity.
Jeremiah 9:3. And they bend their tongues like their bow for lies: but they are not valiant for the truth upon the earth; for they proceed from evil to evil, and they know not me, saith the Lord.
Jeremiah 9:5 And they will deceive every one his neighbour, and will not speak the truth: they have taught their tongue to speak lies, and weary themselves to commit iniquity.
Jeremiah 14:14. Then the Lord said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name: I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spake unto them: they prophesy unto you a false vision and divination, and a thing of nought, and the deceit of their heart.
Jeremiah 23:25-26. I have heard what the prophets said, that prophesy lies in my name, saying, I have dreamed, I have dreamed. How long shall this be in the heart of the prophets that prophesy lies? yea, they are prophets of the deceit of their own heart;
Ezekiel 13:8-9. Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Because ye have spoken vanity, and seen lies, therefore, behold, I am against you, saith the Lord God. And mine hand shall be upon the prophets that see vanity, and that divine lies: they shall not be in the assembly of my people, neither shall they be written in the writing of the house of Israel, neither shall they enter into the land of Israel; and ye shall know that I am the Lord God.
Micah 6:12-13. For the rich men thereof are full of violence, and the inhabitants thereof have spoken lies, and their tongue is deceitful in their mouth. Therefore also will I make thee sick in smiting thee, in making thee desolate because of thy sins.
Nahum 3:1. Woe to the bloody city! it is all full of lies and robbery; the prey departeth not;
Beloved, see Gods words on the lots of liars, deceivers, pastors and the so called believers that bend the truth and exaggerates, those that enrich themselves through deception and lies, inside and outside of the church.
IF YOU SINCERELY WANTS TO SEE JESUS AND BE PART OF THE DAWNING RAPTURE, THEN STOP LYING AND REPENT AND FOLLOW UP WITH RESTITUTIONS, ON ALL YOU HAVE DECEIVED.
All of these put together can guarantee your seeing God at the end of time. Don’t ever forget.
Psalms 101:7. He that worketh deceit shall not dwell within my house: he that telleth lies shall not tarry in my sight.
Zechariah 5:3: -4. Then said he unto me, This is the curse that goeth forth over the face of the whole earth: for every one that stealeth shall be cut off ason this side according to it; and every one that sweareth shall be cut off as on that side according to it. I will bring it forth, saith the LORD of hosts, and it shall enter into the house of the thief, and into the house of him that sweareth falsely by my name: and it shall remain in the midst of his house, and shall consume it with the timber thereof and the stones thereof.
Malachi 3:5: And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger from his right, and fear not me, saith the LORD of hosts.
Revelation 21:8. But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
Revelation 21:27. And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.
Your genuine biblical repentance must be followed by restitutions, if you will ever live with Jesus in heaven. May the Lord help you in Jesus name.
Leviticus 6:1-5. And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, If a soul sin, and commit a trespass against the Lord, and lie unto his neighbour in that which was delivered him to keep, or in fellowship, or in a thing taken away by violence, or hath deceived his neighbour; Or have found that which was lost, and lieth concerning it, and sweareth falsely; in any of all these that a man doeth, sinning therein: Then it shall be, because he hath sinned, and is guilty, that he shall restore that which he took violently away, or the thing which he hath deceitfully gotten, or that which was delivered him to keep, or the lost thing which he found, Or all that about which he hath sworn falsely; he shall even restore it in the principal, and shall add the fifth part more thereto, and give it unto him to whom it appertaineth, in the day of his trespass offering.
Dearly beloved, true believers resemble Jesus. But liars inside and outside the church.
resemble satan and antichrist. See for yourself.
John 8:44-45. Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.
2 Thessalonians 2:8-9. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
See how the Bible describes liars inside and outside the church.
1 Timothy 1:10. For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;
Titus 1:10-12. For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision: Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre’s sake. One of themselves, even a prophet of their own, said, The Cretians are alway liars, evil beasts, slow bellies.
1 John 2:22: Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.
But then, regrettably and shamefully, see the painful end of liars, which are three folds, physical, spiritual and eternal death. See them yourself.
1. Physical death .
Acts 5:1-10. But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession, And kept back part of the price, his wife also being privy to it, and brought a certain part, and laid it at the apostles’ feet. But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land? Whilst it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God. And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: and great fear came on all them that heard these things. And the young men arose, wound him up, and carried him out, and buried him. And it was about the space of three hours after, when his wife, not knowing what was done, came in. And Peter answered unto her, Tell me whether ye sold the land for so much? And she said, Yea, for so much. Then Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? behold, the feet of them which have buried thy husband are at the door, and shall carry thee out. Then fell she down straightway at his feet, and yielded up the ghost: and the young men came in, and found her dead, and, carrying her forth, buried her by her husband.
2. Spiritual death.
Ephesians 2:1-2. And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
3. Eternal death, separation from God and Jesus for all eternity.
Revelation 21:8. But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
Revelation 21:27. And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.
None of these shall be your portion in Jesus name. So make deliberate efforts not to be like them and be separated from them. This is because faithful Christians and ministers will not lie or be liars like the unregenerate.
YOU MUST HARKEN AND HEED THE TIMELY COUNSEL OF JESUS.
Proverbs 14:5 A faithful witness will not lie: but a false witness will utter lies.
Isaiah 63:8. For he said, Surely they are my people, children that will not lie: so he was their Saviour.
Revelation 2:2: I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars:
Receive grace to do so in Jesus name.
JESUS COUNSELLED BELIEVERS OF ALL AGES AND YOU IN PARTICULAR, NOT TO BE LIKE SATAN AND ANTICHRIST, WHO ARE LIARS. NEVER FORGET.
Friend, repeatedly the scriptures affirmed that what will characterise the lives of the unregenerate inside and outside of the church, at the end of time are lying, deception and compromise.etc. See them.
1 Timothy 4:1-2. Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
2 Thessalonians 2:10-12. And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
2 Timothy 4:1-4. I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
Very very painfully, the unregenerate people inside the church of Christ claim to be expecting His coming and hoping to be part of the dawning rapture. Such hope shall meet with brick wall and be abysmally disappointed. This is because liars shall never have access to holy heaven.
Revelation 21:27. And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.
I am persuaded you don’t fall into the categories of deceivers, deceiving and being deceived.
Ephesians 4:17-25. This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind, Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart: Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness. But ye have not so learned Christ; If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus: That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.
2 Timothy 3:13. But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.
But if you discover yourself to be a liar, a deceiver, an exaggerator , compromiser, etc. Please repent now and do your restitutions like Zacchaeus . This is because the next one hour might be too late. The good Lord shall help you in Jesus name.
Ecclesiastes 3:15. That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past.
Luke 19:1-9. And Jesus entered and passed through Jericho. And, behold, there was a man named Zacchaeus, which was the chief among the publicans, and he was rich. And he sought to see Jesus who he was; and could not for the press, because he was little of stature. And he ran before, and climbed up into a sycomore tree to see him: for he was to pass that way. And when Jesus came to the place, he looked up, and saw him, and said unto him, Zacchaeus, make haste, and come down; for to day I must abide at thy house. And he made haste, and came down, and received him joyfully. And when they saw it, they all murmured, saying, That he was gone to be guest with a man that is a sinner. And Zacchaeus stood, and said unto the Lord; Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have taken any thing from any man by false accusation, I restore him fourfold. And Jesus said unto him, This day is salvation come to this house, forsomuch as he also is a son of Abraham.
