Dearly beloved brethren, their is a unique and unusual privilege that saints and Bible believing believers enjoy with God the Father.
They could plead their cause with Him and many times, He pleaded their causes with their adversaries Himself. See the following.
Isa 43:25 — Isa 43:26 I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins. Put me in remembrance: let us plead together: declare thou, that thou mayest be justified.
Pro 23:11 For their redeemer is mighty;he shall plead their cause with thee.
Jer 50:34 Their Redeemer is strong;the Lord of hosts is his name:he shall throughly plead their cause, that he may give rest to the land, and disquiet the inhabitants of Babylon.
Jer 51:36 Therefore thus saith the Lord;Behold, I will plead thy cause, and take vengeance for thee;and I will dry up her sea,and make her springs dry.
Plead [ Defend ] my cause [ Argue my case ], and deliver [ Redeem ] me: quicken me according to thy word. – Psalms 119:154
What our Father in heaven was doing for saints, Jesus our Master and Lord, is doing same for all Bible believing believers of all ages and that includes you at the right hand of God in heaven, now. See this your.
1 John 2:1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
Romans 8:34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
Hebrews 7:25 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.
King David who has been benefitting this unique privilege over and over, at this time was pleading with God to do it for him again, as He used to do for him. See it yourself.
Plead [ Defend ] my cause [ Argue my case ], and deliver [ Redeem ] me: quicken me according to thy word. – Psalms 119:154
Beloved, see instances of his benefitting from this privilege in the time past.
Psa 35:1 Plead my cause, O Lord, with them that strive with me:fight against them that fight against me. Take hold
Psa 43:1 Judge me, O God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation:O deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man.
Psa 74:22 Arise, O God, plead thine own cause:remember how the foolish man reproacheth thee daily.
Beloved you have a better covenant than king David, so reach out to God, He will always plead your cause and give you victory at all times.
Plead [ Defend ] my cause [ Argue my case ], and deliver [ Redeem ] me: quicken me according to thy word. – Psalms 119:154
