But our sufficiency and competency is of God

Beloved, it is very important for you to know that God is all you need for desirable accomplishments on earth and endless blissful joy at, eternity.

In the old testament, the Lord appeared to Abraham and informed him not to be running Helter skelter.

That, He is the Elshaddai. The almighty, meaning the sufficient God.

Genesis 17:1 And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the Lord appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.

In the same token in the new testament, the blessed Holy Spirit impressed it so much on Paul apostle that, He ,the almighty God was sufficient for Him for all things.

2Co 3:5 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;

As it was revealed to both Abraham and Paul apostle in both the old and new testaments.

Settle it in your heart also not be running Helter skelter. Because you shall always find God to be sufficient for all things at all times.

But then beside this fact that God is sufficient for you at all times. His infallible and eternal words are equally as sufficient for you as God Himself.

One word from the scriptures can suffix for you for the rest of your life.

Peter saw our Lord walking on the sea. He asked the Lord to ask him to do same. Our Lord spoke one word, which suffixed for Peter to walk on the water like Him.

Mat 14:26 — Mat 14:29 And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear. But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid. And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.

Now you will recount that Jesus our Lord was revealed to you in the book of Exodus as the Lamb without blemish.

This Lamb was slain for both redemption of the children of Israel and liberation from four hundred and thirty years captivity.

Now for you to know that this in deed was symbolic for what our Lord the Lamb of God would do for all believers of all ages and you in the new testament.

Jn 1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

1Pe 1:18 — 1Pe 1:19 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

God gave the children of Israel, one specific instruction. Something they must not to do, whenever the ordinance was to be done . See it.

Exodus 12:46 In one house shall it be eaten; thou shalt not carry forth ought of the flesh abroad out of the house; neither shall ye break a bone thereof.

Each time the Lamb without blemish is slain , the bone must never be broken.

Num 9:9 — Num 9:12 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If any man of you or of your posterity shall be unclean by reason of a dead body, or be in a journey afar off, yet he shall keep the passover unto the Lord. The fourteenth day of the second month at even they shall keep it, and eat it with unleavened bread and bitter herbs. They shall leave none of it unto the morning, nor break any bone of it: according to all the ordinances of the passover they shall keep it.

Now this one word and instruction was the reason why the bone of Jesus was not broken on the cross, when he was crucified.

The Jews were so cruel to the point that , they pleaded with Pilate the governor to brake the bone of Jesus.

But the Roman. Soldiers could not do it, even though at that time, Jesus our Lord had died. See it.

Jn 19:30 — Jn 19:37 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost. The Jews therefore, because it was the preparation, that the bodies should not remain upon the cross on the sabbath day, (for that sabbath day was an high day,) besought Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away. Then came the soldiers, and brake the legs of the first, and of the other which was crucified with him. But when they came to Jesus, and saw that he was dead already, they brake not his legs: But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water. And he that saw it bare record, and his record is true: and he knoweth that he saith true, that ye might believe. For these things were done, that the scripture should be fulfilled, A bone of him shall not be broken. And again another scripture saith, They shall look on him whom they pierced.

The relevance of this situation should encourage you too, to know that the scriptures are sufficient for you too at times and in all circumstances

God’s words in the Bible are infallible, etenal, unfailing and unchanging.

Not one of the word of God shall fail. You shall always find it so in Jesus name.

Isaiah 34:16 Seek ye out of the book of the Lord, and read: no one of these shall fail, none shall want her mate: for my mouth it hath commanded, and his spirit it hath gathered them

Isaiah 55:11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please,and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

Psalms 119:89 For ever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven.

Matthew 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

Beloved, because this is so, that God’s words in the Bible are infallible etenal unfailing and unchanging, you must give utmost importance to every word in the Bible.

Remember the prophecy about the flood. It took one hundred and twenty years, but it came to pass.

Gen 6:9 — Gen 6:22 These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God. And Noah begat three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth. The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth. And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth. Make thee an ark of gopher wood; rooms shalt thou make in the ark, and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch. And this is the fashion which thou shalt make it of: The length of the ark shall be three hundred cubits, the breadth of it fifty cubits, and the height of it thirty cubits. A window shalt thou make to the ark, and in a cubit shalt thou finish it above; and the door of the ark shalt thou set in the side thereof; with lower, second, and third stories shalt thou make it. And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; and every thing that is in the earth shall die. But with thee will I establish my covenant; and thou shalt come into the ark, thou, and thy sons, and thy wife, and thy sons’ wives with thee. And of every living thing of all flesh, two of every sort shalt thou bring into the ark, to keep them alive with thee; they shall be male and female. Of fowls after their kind, and of cattle after their kind, of every creeping thing of the earth after his kind, two of every sort shall come unto thee, to keep them alive. And take thou unto thee of all food that is eaten, and thou shalt gather it to thee; and it shall be for food for thee, and for them. Thus did Noah; according to all that God commanded him, so did he.

Gen 7:5 — Gen 7:13 And Noah did according unto all that the Lord commanded him. And Noah was six hundred years old when the flood of waters was upon the earth. And Noah went in, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons’ wives with him, into the ark, because of the waters of the flood. Of clean beasts, and of beasts that are not clean, and of fowls, and of every thing that creepeth upon the earth, There went in two and two unto Noah into the ark, the male and the female, as God had commanded Noah. And it came to pass after seven days, that the waters of the flood were upon the earth. In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened. And the rain was upon the earth forty days and forty nights. In the selfsame day entered Noah, and Shem, and Ham, and Japheth, the sons of Noah, and Noah’s wife, and the three wives of his sons with them, into the ark;

Remember the prophecy about the virgin birth of Emmanuel. It took seven hundred years. It came to pass.

Isaiah 7:14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

Mat 1:21 — Mat 1:23 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins. Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

Remember the prophecy about the destruction of Sodom and Gomorah. It was mocked. But it came to pass.

Gen 19:12 — Gen 19:14 And the men said unto Lot, Hast thou here any besides? son in law, and thy sons, and thy daughters, and whatsoever thou hast in the city, bring them out of this place: For we will destroy this place, because the cry of them is waxen great before the face of the Lord; and the Lord hath sent us to destroy it. And Lot went out, and spake unto his sons in law, which married his daughters, and said, Up, get you out of this place; for the Lord will destroy this city. But he seemed as one that mocked unto his sons in law.

Gen 19:24 — Gen 19:25 Then the Lord rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the Lord out of heaven; And he overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground.

Now scoffers are scoffing the reality of the imminent rapture.

They would be shocked when they shall hear that we have been caught up to meet our Lord in the air and remain with Him for ever.

1Th 4:15 — 1Th 4:17 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

The message of the imminent rapture is prolonged now for two reasons. But then it will happen suddenly.

1Co 15:51 — 1Co 15:52 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

1. God is not willing that multitude and perhaps you in particular should miss out of it.

2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

2. A day with God is a thousand years.

2Pe 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

It is because of this that is making many to scoff the reality and imminence of the event.

2Pe 3:3 — 2Pe 3:7 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

Beloved, pardon me I am very sorry to challenge you. Are you not one of the scoffers? If your response is no. Where is the proof that you are preparing for the dawning rapture?

Have you done all that needed to be done?

Are you really born again?

Are you walking on the narrow road in holiness and righteousness?

Are you ensuring that nothing takes your name out of the book of life?

Have you done your restitutions?

See the second spouse living with you in the same house and you are committing daily adultery. Should the rapture takes place, you can not even hear the trumpet, not to talk of partaking.

Don’t you still give and receive bribe?

Are you not living in licentious worldliness?

Don’t you love pleasure more than God?

Are you not busy pursuing ephemeral that you will not have access to except you receive the mark of the Antichrist, when we have gone in the rapture ?

Are you not still compromising and committing secret sin and you said, you are preparing for the dawning rapture.

Are you not like the foolish virgins, Jesus Christ our Lord and savior spoke about in the parable?

It will pain our Lord, if you in particular miss the dawning rapture. You shall not miss it in Jesus name.

So awake to righteousness and stop sinning, for you to be prepared for the imminent rapture.

1Co 15:34 Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.

You are only concerned about not catching Corona virus, while doing nothing , for you to be ready for the dawning rapture.

Wake up. Enough of spiritual slumbering.

1Th 5:4 — 1Th 5:9 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night. But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation. For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,

May the good Lord help you in particular to be wise unto salvation in Jesus name.
