BEING OBEDIENT: KEY TO GODS HEART

Beloved, have you ever pondered on what would have made your loving Father in heaven to destroy the first world with flood?

Departure from God. Shameful disobedience to Him. No fear of God. Violence, corruption, wickedness, lewdness, homosexuality, soddomy licentious lifestyle and more.

Pause and do a thorough check globally, what do you see today. Same and even worse. See it yourself.

Genesis 6:11-12 The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.

But then, surprisingly, even at that time as corrupt as the then world, was, God find some few saints, who chose to walk with Him, fear Him and be obedient to Him, wholeheartedly. See some of them.

Genesis 5:22-24 And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters: And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years: And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.

Genesis 6:9: ¶These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God

Genesis 7:1. And the Lord said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation.

Job 1:1.There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.

Job 2:3. And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? and still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst me against him, to destroy him without cause.

Beloved, do a sincere reflection on yourself, at this perilous time, when men have chosen to be lovers of themselves more than God, can you be said to be like Enoch, Noah, Job etc?

I am persuaded that your response should be affirmative yes, but just in case it is no, do something very drastically, God is coming again this time, with more fearful and fearsome judgement.

Romans 2:5-6 But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God; Who will render to every man according to his deeds:

A time came, when God, who knows all things through and through spoke to a man of like passion like you.

He spoke about his lifestyle and the confidence He reposed in him. What if God will talk to you about your lifestyle, what would He say?

Would He be confident of your sonship? Would He commend you or reprimand you? How important is God to you? Do you fear Him? Do you love Him? Can He depend on you? See Zerubbabel.

Hebrews 4:13. Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.

Haggai 2:23. In that day, saith the Lord of hosts, will I take thee, O Zerubbabel, my servant, the son of Shealtiel, saith the Lord, and will make thee as a signet: for I have chosen thee, saith the Lord of hosts.

But then, this message had two phases. The first had to do with Zerubbabel himself a governor and faithful servant of God.

Haggai 2:21Speak to Zerubbabel, governor of Judah, saying, I will shake the heavens and the earth;

Secondly and most importantly a pointer and prophecy to Christ, the chosen servant of Jehovah. See its affirmation as it points to Christ in the scriptures.

Psalms 2:7: I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.

Psalms 89:19: Then thou spakest in vision to thy holy one, and saidst, I have laid help upon one that is mighty ; I have exalted one chosen out of the people.

Psalms 22:6 -8. But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people. All they that see me laugh me to scorn: they shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying, He trusted on the LORD that he would deliver him: let him deliver him, seeing he delighted in him.

Isaiah 42:1-3. Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles. He shall not cry, nor lift up, nor cause his voice to be heard in the street. A bruised reed shall he not break, and the smoking flax shall he not quench: he shall bring forth judgment unto truth.

Isaiah 43:10: Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.

Isaiah 49:1-3. Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name. And he hath made my mouth like a sharp sword; in the shadow of his hand hath he hid me, and made me a polished shaft; in his quiver hath he hid me; And said unto me, Thou art my servant, O Israel, in whom I will be glorified.

Zechariah 3:8: Hear now, O Joshua the high priest, thou, and thy fellows that sit before thee: for they aremen wondered at: for, behold, I will bring forth my servant the BRANCH.

But then like the Lord in prophecies have chosen our Lord Jesus Christ, an obedient servant.

can He find you to choose at a time like this, when the whole world have turned back from Him? May the good Lord depend on you in Jesus name.

Psalms 33:12. Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.

Psalms 89:3. I have made a covenant with my chosen, I have sworn unto David my servant,

Psalms 105:26. He sent Moses his servant; and Aaron whom he had chosen.

Isaiah 44:1-2. Yet now hear, O Jacob my servant; and Israel, whom I have chosen: Thus saith the Lord that made thee, and formed thee from the womb, which will help thee; Fear not, O Jacob, my servant; and thou, Jesurun, whom I have chosen.

Dearly beloved, prior to the first advent of our Lord, during His earthly ministry, several prophecies preceded His coming.

One of this, was the prophecy of His servanthood, sonship and implicit obedience to His Father. See them.

Matthew 12:18-20. Behold my servant, whom I have chosen; my beloved, in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my spirit upon him, and he shall shew judgment to the Gentiles. He shall not strive, nor cry; neither shall any man hear his voice in the streets. A bruised reed shall he not break, and smoking flax shall he not quench, till he send forth judgment unto victory.

Matthew 3:17: And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

Matthew 17:5: While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.

Mark 1:11: And there came a voice from heaven, saying, Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

Mark 9:7: And there was a cloud that overshadowed them: and a voice came out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him.
Luke 3:22: And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased.
Luke 9:35: And there came a voice out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him.

Luke 23:35: And the people stood beholding. And the rulers also with them derided him, saying, He saved others; let him save himself, if he be Christ, the chosen of God.

1 Peter 2:4: To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious,

See His uncommon obedient lifestyle, during His earthly ministry.

John 4:34. Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.

John 6:38. For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.

John 8:28-29. Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things. And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him.

John 17:4. I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.

Philippians 2:5-8. Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

However, in the same way, our loving Father chose Jesus, so is He choosing believers of all ages and you in particular. See what the scriptures says.

John 15:16. Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

Ephesians 1:4-6. According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

2 Thessalonians 2:13-14. But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth: Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

2 Timothy 2:3-4. Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.

1 Peter 2:9. But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

Remember many are called but few are chosen.

Matthew 22:14 For many are called, but few are chosen.

Please ensure you are among the few chosen at this perilous time, that would be obedient to Him, as He was to His Father, during His earthly ministry.

This alone shall guarantee your seeing Him at the end of time. May the good Lord help you in Jesus name.

JESUS CHRIST, THE CHOSEN AND OBEDIENT, SERVANT OF JEHOVAH, BE LIKE HIM.

Friend, do you know that only those chosen and are obedient to Christ shall be part of the dawning rapture?

Those that are not shall miss it and face the fiery judgement of God that shall be unleashed during the great tribulation.

Revelation 22:11-15. He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

The Bible reveals the characteristics of the chosen and the impudent, the Worldling and nominal churchgoers. See the description of scriptures.

1. Their sins have Separated them from Him.

Isaiah 59:1-2. Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.

2. They are lovers of themselves and have no regard or reverence for God.

2 Timothy 3:1-5. This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

3.They are neither believer or unbeliever. Neither cold or hot, neither following Jesus or following the world

Revelation 3:15-17. I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

It will be expedient for you to examine yourself, without any presumption. If you see likeness in your life, repent now , tomorrow might be too late.

On the other hand, see the lifestyle of the chosen, those that shall be part of the rapture. You shall be in Jesus name, but make sure your lifestyle agrees with the description of the scriptures.

1. They choose determinedly to obey His words in its entirety.

Luke 10:38-42. Now it came to pass, as they went, that he entered into a certain village: and a certain woman named Martha received him into her house. And she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at Jesus’ feet, and heard his word. But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me. And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things: But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.

Revelation 3:10-11 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

2. They chose to being with Him alone through thick and thin, till He comes.

Revelation 17:14. These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.

Mark 3:13-14. And he goeth up into a mountain, and calleth unto him whom he would: and they came unto him. And he ordained twelve, that they should be with him, and that he might send them forth to preach,

3. They chose to be among the elect vessels He can use to propagate the gospel for others to be saved.

Mark 13:20. And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect’s sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days.

Acts 1:1-2. The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach, Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen:

Acts 9:15-16. But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel: For I will shew him how great things he must suffer for my name’s sake.

2 Timothy 2:21. If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work.
