Knowing Jesus Daily Devotional | Thus saith the Lord of hosts; If thou wilt walk in my ways, and if thou wilt keep my charge, then thou shalt also judge my house, and shalt also keep my courts, and I will give thee places to walk among these that stand by – Zechariah 3:7.

Beloved, it has always been the unchanging desire of God to exalt His saints either in the secular or their Kingdom engagements. Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Job,  David, Daniel, Mordecai,Queen Esther were mightily exalted by God in their secular engagements.
In the same token, Moses, Joshua, Samuel, Elijah, Elisha, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel were highly exalted in their Kingdom engagements.
BUT THEN EITHER IN THE SECULAR OR KINGDOM SERVICE, TWO MAJOR ATTRIBUTES  WERE DETERMINANT  FOR EXALTATION FROM GOD, THE FATHER, FROM HIS SAINTS OF ALL AGES. THEY ARE : RIGHTEOUSNESS AND IMPLICIT OBEDIENCE.
Beloved, do you desire exaltation or promotion from God in your secular work or ministerial assignment? You shall be promoted  in Jesus name.
All that God must see in your life as you continual walk with Him are biblical righteousness and total obedience. See His promise.

Deuteronomy 28:13. And the Lord shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the Lord thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them:

Biblical righteousness was responsible for the secular promotion and exaltation of these saints of God. Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Job, David, Daniel, Mordecai,Queen Esther  etc. So  if you desire same in your secular engagement, be righteous biblically.

Proverbs 14:34. Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.

In the same token, same  requisite is expected from those engage in ministerial  assignments seeking promotion and exaltation. See them for yourself.

Exodus 18:21. Moreover thou shalt provide out of all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness; and place such over them, to be rulers of thousands, and rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens:

Acts 6:3. Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business.

God was desirous to exalt Joshua the high priest in the days of Zechariah the prophet. But He gave Him, the conditions for exaltation from Him. These same conditions are for believers of all ages and that includes you. God wants to exalt you in His service or your secular engagement, if you meet them.

Beloved,  God exalted Abraham, Job, and Jesus Christ His son, see what He saw in their lives.
1. Abraham

Genesis 18:19: For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.

Genesis 22:15-18. And the angel of the Lord called unto Abraham out of heaven the second time, And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the Lord, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son: That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.

Genesis 26:5: Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.

Hebrews 11:8: By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.

James 2:21: Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?

2. Jesus

Psalms 40:6 -8. Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire; mine ears hast thou opened: burnt offering and sin offering hast thou not required. Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me, I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart.

Isaiah 50:5 -6. ¶The Lord GOD hath opened mine ear, and I was not rebellious, neither turned away back.  I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair: I hid not my face from shame and spitting.

3. Job

Job 1:1-3. There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil. And there were born unto him seven sons and three daughters. His substance also was seven thousand sheep, and three thousand camels, and five hundred yoke of oxen, and five hundred she asses, and a very great household; so that this man was the greatest of all the men of the east.

4. For you either in your ministerial assignment or secular engagement.

1 Kings 2:3: And keep the charge of the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, to keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his judgments, and his testimonies, as it is written in the law of Moses, that thou mayest prosper in all that thou doest, and whithersoever thou turnest thyself:

Psalms 112:1-3. Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, that delighteth greatly in his commandments. His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed. Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever.

Psalms 128:1 -6. Blessed is every one that feareth the LORD; that walketh in his ways. For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee. Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table. Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the LORD. The LORD shall bless thee out of Zion: and thou shalt see the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life. Yea, thou shalt see thy children’s children, and peace upon Israel.

Ezekiel 44:15-16  ¶But the priests the Levites, the sons of Zadok, that kept the charge of my sanctuary when the children of Israel went astray from me, they shall come near to me to minister unto me, and they shall stand before me to offer unto me the fat and the blood, saith the Lord GOD: They shall enter into my sanctuary, and they shall come near to my table, to minister unto me, and they shall keep my charge.

Ezekiel 48:11: It shall be for the priests that are sanctified of the sons of Zadok; which have kept my charge, which went not astray when the children of Israwent astray, as the Levites went astray.

Beloved, the ball is now in your court. God has made His requisites for earthly and eternal exaltation in your secular or ministerial assignment, plain to you. Receive grace to possess them in Jesus name.

Micah 6:8. He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?

Our Lord was highly exalted after His earthly ministry. You also shall be exalted here and hereafter in Jesus name. All that you need to do is conscientiously follow His exemplary lifestyle.

Mark 16:19. So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.

Hebrews 1:3. Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

Hebrews 12:2. Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

But then, the scriptures revealed what characterised the lifestyle of our Lord, during His earthly ministry. See some of them.

Philippians 2:5-11. Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Matthew 26:39: And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.

Matthew 26:42: He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done.
John 4:34: Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.

John 9:4. I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.

John 15:10: If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.

John 17:4. I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.

Hebrews 1:9. Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

Hebrews 5:7-8. Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared; Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;

Hebrews 10:7 -9.  Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God. Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law;  Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.

From these scriptures, you will discover two major attributes in the lifestyle of our Lord. They were biblical righteousness and implicit obedience.
Dearly beloved, in the same way God lifted up our Lord after His earthly ministry, so He will do for you in your secular engagement or ministerial assignment. If you follow His exemplary lifestyle. Receive grace to do so in Jesus name l

John 13:15-17. For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you. Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him. If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them.

1 Peter 2:21 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:

Hebrews 5:9: And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;

1 Timothy 6:14: That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:

2 Timothy 4:1 -2.  I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

JESUS’S EXCEPTIONAL LIFESTYLE OF OBEDIENCE AND RIGHTEOUSNESSES, PATHWAY TO EARTHLY AND ETERNAL EXALTATION FROM GOD.
Friend,  as  obedience and righteousnesses  facilitate earthly exaltation in your secular engagement or ministerial assignment, so also they are the major determinant requisites for partaking in the dawning rapture.

Revelation 3:10-11. Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

You will discover that the Worldling and nominal churchgoers are lacking in these areas because they have chosen a perverse and wayward lifestyle. Unfortunately, this shall be their undoing, when the rapture shall take place. See what constitute their lifestyles.

Proverbs 1:24-31. Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded; But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof: I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh; When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you. Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me: For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the Lord: They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof. Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices.

Matthew 7:21-23. Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Matthew 7:26-27. And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

But for the likes of you globally daily looking forward for the coming of our Lord in the sky, see how the scriptures reveals our attitude. These are things that shall qualify us to be part of this glorious event. It shall not elude you in Jesus name.
Obedience and biblical righteousness very very essential. Receive grace to be doer of God’s words in Jesus name.

Matthew 5:19: Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Matthew 7:24-25. Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.

Revelation 3:10-11. Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

Revelation 14:4-5. These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb. And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.
