Today August 24, 2019 in our Daily Devotional, the topic before us is MORTIFY YOUR FLESH.
Col 3:5 — Col 3:6 Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry: For which things’ sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:
Beloved, you are a child of God. By now you should know and be acquainted with the nature of God , which is righteousness and true holiness.
Ephesians 4:24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
Psalms 145:17 The Lord is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works.
God your loving Father can not tolerate sin from anyone and everyone. Either Jew or gentile.
Habakkuk 1:13 Thou art of purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity: wherefore lookest thou upon them that deal treacherously, and holdest thy tongue when the wicked devoureth the man that is more righteous than he?
He can not associate or walk with sinners. Remember it does not exclude you if you are one.
Amos 3:3 Can two walk together, except they be agreed?
God from time immemorial, from eternity past to eternity future is always angry with sinners, who are wicked people in His sight.
Psalms 7:11 God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day.
Beloved, because of this , He poured His wrath upon them. This shall not be your portion in Jesus name. But if you are still committing sin , repent now , other wise, you also will be subject to the same condemnation.
Rom 11:22 Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.
See what He did with sinners in the time past. The same He is still going to do with them now and in the distant future for all eternity.
2 Chronicles 24:18 And they left the house of the Lord God of their fathers, and served groves and idols: and wrath came upon Judah and Jerusalem for this their trespass.
Ezra 5:12 But after that our fathers had provoked the God of heaven unto wrath, he gave them into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, the Chaldean, who destroyed this house, and carried the people away into Babylon.
Neh 13:17 — Neh 13:18 Then I contended with the nobles of Judah, and said unto them, What evil thing is this that ye do, and profane the sabbath day? Did not your fathers thus, and did not our God bring all this evil upon us, and upon this city? yet ye bring more wrath upon Israel by profaning the sabbath.
Psa 78:30 — Psa 78:31 They were not estranged from their lust. But while their meat was yet in their mouths, The wrath of God came upon them, and slew the fattest of them, and smote down the chosen men of Israel.
Nahum 1:2 God is jealous, and the Lord revengeth; the Lord revengeth, and is furious; the Lord will take vengeance on his adversaries, and he reserveth wrath for his enemies.
Every sins committed by humanity inside or outside of the church will incur the wrath of God. Remember you are not excluded, if you are committing sin stop it or the wrath of God is coming upon you like any other sinner too. See it.

Rev 16:1 — Rev 16:: 4 And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth. And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image. And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea. And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood.
Beloved, you know the good new’s is this. If God could find a devoted intercessor, who will pray for the conversion of this sinners. He will spare them. Won’t you then pray for your unsaved spouse, children, parents, siblings, close and extended family members, in laws, neighbours and colleagues in the place of work.
As you pray for them, they shall be saved and escaped the looming wrath of God, coming immediately after the rapture. This wrath shall not be your own portion in Jesus name.
Ezk 22:29 — Ezk 22:31 The people of the land have used oppression, and exercised robbery, and have vexed the poor and needy: yea, they have oppressed the stranger wrongfully. And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none. Therefore have I poured out mine indignation upon them; I have consumed them with the fire of my wrath: their own way have I recompensed upon their heads, saith the Lord God.
Dearly beloved, when our Lord was here during His earthly ministry, He told His followers then and His followers of all ages and that includes you, how they can escaped the wrath of God. See it.
Jn 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
I am persuaded that you have believed and received Him as your Lord and Saviour. Through this , by the grace of God , you have escaped the looming wrath of God that shall begin immediately after the dawning rapture. In fact Jesus our Lord shall play active part in pouring out this wrath upon the sinning world. Praise God , you shall not be there I’m Jesus name .
Rev 19:11 — Rev 19:16 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, King of Kings, and Lord of Lords.
It is for people of God like you to avert this looming wrath, that the blessed Holy Spirit gave this exhortation through the writings of apostle Paul. See it .

See how other scriptures affirmed the same thing.
Rom 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
Rom 2:5 But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;
Eph 5:6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.
Rev 14:10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
Dearly beloved by the virtue of your biblical salvation. You have already escaped this looming wrath. Praise God. Hallelujah. See it.
1Th 5:9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,
Friend, you must do everything by the grace of God to be part of this dawning rapture. This is because immediately after it, the looming wrath of God begins
Rev 3:10 — Rev 3:11 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
This is the reason why you should take advantage of God’s sufficient grace and safe yourself from everything that can make the wrath of God be your portion. It shall not be in Jesus name . Through the grace of God, you could mortify your flesh.

Tit 2:11 — Tit 2:14 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
Friend, those who missed the rapture shall be compelled to take the mark of the antichrist or be killed. Once anyone and everyone which must exclude you takes it. They are doomed for indescribable wrath of God..
Rev 14:9 — Rev 14:10 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
Remember, God has not appointed you in particular for wrath, because you are already saved. But engage the grace of God and mortify your flesh.
