LOVE WITH SINCERITY | KnowingJESUS Daily Devotional

Romans 12:9. Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.

Beloved, walking with God is the greatest thing that can happen between eternal God and mortal men.  However, to walk with Him, you must be in agreement with Him in all things.

Amos 3:3. Can two walk together, except they be agreed?

Interestingly, one major all encompassing attribute of God is love.

John 3:16. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Romans 5:8. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

1 John 4:7-8. Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

1 John 4:10. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

Beloved to walk with God, you must love Him and love your neighbours.

Deuteronomy 6:4-5. Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.

Deuteronomy 10:12. And now, Israel, what doth the Lord thy God require of thee, but to fear the Lord thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul,

Deuteronomy 11:1. Therefore thou shalt love the Lord thy God, and keep his charge, and his statutes, and his judgments, and his commandments, alway.

Deuteronomy 19:9. If thou shalt keep all these commandments to do them, which I command thee this day, to love the Lord thy God, and to walk ever in his ways; then shalt thou add three cities more for thee, beside these three:

Leviticus 19:18: ¶Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the LORD.

Deuteronomy 30:15-16. See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil; In that I command thee this day to love the Lord thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the Lord thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it.

Deuteronomy 30:20. That thou mayest love the Lord thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the Lord sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.

Beloved to enable you to achieve this lifestyle, God Himself will help you, by circumcising your heart and remove the heart of stone.
This is the second work of grace, experienced by  those that are biblically born again and living the lifestyle of new creature.  You must desire this experience. It is vital to your Christian lifestyle.

Deuteronomy 30:6. And the Lord thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.

Ezekiel 36:26. A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

By the time you have experienced the second work of grace, it will be difficult and impossible for you to live deceptive lifestyle or insincere love, which is the  bane and  practice of the care free believers and the unregenerate globally.  . See it described in the scriptures.

Psalms 55:21: The words of his mouth were smoother than butter, but war was in his heart: his words were softer than oil, yet were they drawn swords.

Proverbs 26:25: When he speaketh fair, believe him not: for there are seven abominations in his heart.

Ezekiel 33:31: And they come unto thee as the people cometh, and they sit before thee as my people, and they hear thy words, but they will not do them: for with their mouth they shew much love, buttheir heart goeth after their covetousness.

As you love God and your neighbors and determinedly avoid insincere love which is the acceptable norm globally among the unregenerate. It becomes a. proof that you really belong to God and saintly. May the Lord help you to live this lifestyle till Jesus comes.
Dearly beloved,  Jesus Christ our Lord during His earthly ministry was reputed to have done exemplary all that He taught.

Acts 1:1. The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach,

One of such things that He did and taught, was living an  exemplary lifestyle of biblical love.
See instances of what He did.

John 13:1. Now before the feast of the passover, when Jesus knew that his hour was come that he should depart out of this world unto the Father, having loved his own which were in the world, he loved them unto the end.

John 14:30-31. Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me. But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.

John 15:13. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

See some of the things He taught convincingly.

Matthew 22:37-40. Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Luke 10:25-28.  And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou? And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself. And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live.

John 14:15. If ye love me, keep my commandments.

John 14:21. He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

John 14:23-24. Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father’s which sent me.

Having done all these, He left the heritage and examples for believers of all ages and that includes you to follow His steps.

1 Peter 2:21. For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:

Doing this according to Him, will validate your profession  of Christlikeness, before God and men.

John 13:34-35. A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

However,  it must never ever be once named or seen that believers and you in particular is living deceptive or insincere love. This was the undoing of Judas, one of the twelve and it damned his soul. Your own soul shall not be damned, so don’t ever be caught in this web.  The good Lord shall help you in Jesus name.

Matthew 26:47-49. And while he yet spake, lo, Judas, one of the twelve, came, and with him a great multitude with swords and staves, from the chief priests and elders of the people. Now he that betrayed him gave them a sign, saying, Whomsoever I shall kiss, that same is he: hold him fast. And forthwith he came to Jesus, and said, Hail, master; and kissed him.

John 12:4-6. Then saith one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son, which should betray him, Why was not this ointment sold for three hundred pence, and given to the poor? This he said, not that he cared for the poor; but because he was a thief, and had the bag, and bare what was put therein.

Dearly beloved, to help you not to fall into this shameful act, the blessed Holy Spirit gave believers of all ages and you, an all encompassing exhortation. See it.

Romans 12:9. Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good

The blessed  Holy Spirit in addition gave several practical steps to enable you heed this all important and all encompassing exhortation. See them.

2 Corinthians 6:6: By pureness, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the Holy Ghost, by love unfeigned,

1 Thessalonians 2:3: For our exhortation was not of deceit, nor of uncleanness, nor in guile:

1 Timothy 1:5: Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned:

James 2:15 -16. If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?

1 Peter 1:22: Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:

1 Peter 4:8: And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.

1 John 3:18: My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.

May the good Lord by His grace enable you to live this exemplary lifestyle till Jesus comes.
BIBLICAL LOVE  PROOF OF CHRISTLIKENESS FOR BELIEVERS OF ALL AGES, ESPECIALLY  YOU, ACCORDING TO ROMANS CHAPTER TWELVE VERSE NINE
Friend, as the good Lord help you to tirelessly prepare for the dawning rapture,,it is imperative for you to commit yourself to doing three things, that makes you look like Christ.

Romans 12:9. Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good

1. Things to abhor .
There are things you determinedly commit yourself not to  be doing or associate with. See how the scriptures describe them.
Departing permanently from whatever the Bible calls evil. Immorality, bribery and corruption, divorce and remarriage. etc.

Psalms 34:14: Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.

Departing from cruelty and wickedness.

Psalms 36:4: He deviseth mischief upon his bed; he setteth himself in a way that is not good; he abhorreth not evil.

Loving righteousness and holiness of life.

Psalms 45:7: Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

Hebrews 1:9: Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

You hate evil deeds and practices with passion

Psalms 97:10: Ye that love the LORD, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.

Psalms 101:3: I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave to me.

Psalms 119:104: Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way.

Psalms 119:163: I hate and abhor lying: but thy law do I love.

Proverbs 8:13: The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.

Amos 5:15: Hate the evil, and love the good, and establish judgment in the gate: it may be that the LORD God of hosts will be gracious unto the remnant of Joseph.

2. Cleaving to what is good or godly .

Acts 11:23: Who, when he came, and had seen the grace of God, was glad, and exhorted them all, that with purpose of heart they would cleave unto the Lord.

1 Thessalonians 5:15: See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.

Hebrews 12:14: Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:

1 Peter 3:10 -11.  For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile: Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it.

3. Living a lifestyle of Christlike love till Jesus comes.

1 John 5:3. For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

When you are  doing  all of these conscientiously, then God will reward you with earthly and eternal blessings. It shall be so for you in Jesus name.

1 Corinthians 2:9. But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

This eternal blessing is either partaking in the dawning rapture or living eternally with God.

Isaiah 33:15-17. He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil;  He shall dwell on high: his place of defence shall be the munitions of rocks: bread shall be given him; his waters shall be sure. Thine eyes shall see the king in his beauty: they shall behold the land that is very far off.

Malachi 3:16-18. Then they that feared the Lord spake often one to another: and the Lord hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him  for them that feared the Lord, and that thought upon his name. And they shall be mine, saith the Lord of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him. Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.

Receive grace to be doing them till Jesus comes.
