Knowing Jesus Daily Devotional | If your enemies are hungry and if they are thirsty, love them and give to them. This will be the same as piling burning coals on their heads – Romans 12:20

Beloved, God’s most important attribute is love. He places very high premium on love among the entire humanity. He is painfully grieved, when love is relegated to the background.
You must endeavour to be like you Father, manifesting love to all and sundry irrespective of their  religion, race or colour. Receive grace to be like your Father in heaven in Jesus name.

1 John 4:7-10. Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

God’s  eternal unchanging commandment to His saints of all ages and you, is to love anymore and everyone who makes them enemies. You must not have enemies. But you must manifest godly love to anyone and everyone who makes you, their enemy.

Matthew 5:44-48. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so? Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

Beloved, every opportunity you have use it to show piety by helping and doing good to whoever makes you his or her enemy.

Exodus 23:4 -5. ¶If thou meet thine enemy’s ox or his ass going astray, thou shalt surely bring it back to him again. If thou see the ass of him that hateth thee lying under his burden, and wouldest forbear to help him, thou shalt surely help with him.

See what others of like passion like you have done in Bible days to those that made them enemies.

1 Samuel 24:16-19. And it came to pass, when David had made an end of speaking these words unto Saul, that Saul said, Is this thy voice, my son David? And Saul lifted up his voice, and wept. And he said to David, Thou art more righteous than I: for thou hast rewarded me good, whereas I have rewarded thee evil. And thou hast shewed this day how that thou hast dealt well with me: forasmuch as when the Lord had delivered me into thine hand, thou killedst me not. For if a man find his enemy, will he let him go well away? wherefore the Lord reward thee good for that thou hast done unto me this day.

1 Samuel 26:21: ¶Then said Saul, I have sinned: return, my son David: for I will no more do thee harm, because my soul was precious in thine eyes this day: behold, I have played the fool, and have erred exceedingly.

2 Kings 6:22: And he answered, Thou shalt not smite them: wouldest thou smite those whom thou hast taken captive with thy sword and with thy bow? set bread and water before them, that they may eat and drink, and go to their master.

Psalms 7:4: If I have rewarded evil unto him that was at peace with me; (yea, I have delivered him that without cause is mine enemy:)

Psalms 35:13: But as for me, when they were sick, my clothing was sackcloth: I humbled my soul with fasting; and my prayer returned into mine own bosom.

Proverbs 25:21-22. If thine enemy be hungry, give him bread to eat; and if he be thirsty, give him water to drink:  For thou shalt heap coals of fire upon his head, and the LORD shall reward thee.

This is your  Father’s unchanging expectations from His saints of all ages and you too. So go and be doing likewise till Christ comes.

Micah 6:8. He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?

Dearly beloved, our Lord affirmed unreservedly during His earthly ministry that Himself and our Father in heaven are one.

John 10:30. I and my Father are one.

The blessed a Holy Spirit described Him as the  express image of God.

Hebrews 1:3. Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

Because all of these affirmation are true. Then Jesus Christ our Lord Himself must be love personified after the order of His Father in heaven. See what the scriptures says.

John 13:1. Now before the feast of the passover, when Jesus knew that his hour was come that he should depart out of this world unto the Father, having loved his own which were in the world, he loved them unto the end.

John 15:13. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

For believers of all ages, including you to prove their loyalty to Him. See what they and you must be doing.

John 14:15. If ye love me, keep my commandments.

See His commandments that they and you must be keeping, when relating with cruel adversaries. Those who made them and you enemies. It must never ever be heard that you have enemies.

Matthew 5:44: But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

Luke 6:27-28. ¶But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you,  Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.

Luke 6:34-35.  And if ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye? for sinners also lend to sinners, to receive as much again. But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.

Luke 23:34: ¶Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.

The blessed Holy Spirit affirms these commandments of our Lord and open the understanding of believers better.
He showed them  and you, on  how to relate with anyone and everyone who made themselves your  enemies without stress. See them.

Romans 12:14: Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.

1 Corinthians 4:12 -13. And labour, working with our own hands: being reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we suffer it: Being defamed, we intreat: we are made as the filth of the world, and are the offscouring of all things unto this day.

Begin to do these through His  grace till He comes.
RELATING WITH CRUEL ADVERSARIES WITH ETERNITY IN VIEW BY. BELIEVERS OF ALL AGES, ESPECIALLY  YOU, ACCORDING TO ROMANS CHAPTER TWELVE VERSE  TWENTY
Friend,  you can always differentiate believers who are actually preparing for the dawning rapture. They have one  very unusual characteristic.
They do everything they are doing at every point in time from the perspective of eternity.

Colossians 3:1-4. If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

Pause and be very realistic and sincere to yourself without any iota  of presumption. Do you fall into the categories of these believers?  Remember , the buck stops with you.
This is the singular characteristic that guarantees partaking in this imminent event. May the good Lord help you to be wise unto salvation in Jesus name.
See your decision and resolve to partake in the rapture shall be solely tried. Satan will engineer his cohorts, human beings and spirit beings.
They shall be casting stumblingblock on your way.
By the grace of God, they shall fail in Jesus name.

Revelation 2:14. But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication.

However, because you are wiser than them, your response to their cruelty should always be with Christlike love.

Corinthians 13:4-8. Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.  Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.

Ephesians 4:32: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.

1 Thessalonians 5:15: See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.

1 Peter 2:23: Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously:

1 Peter 3:9: Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing.

This way, you will not fall into their snares till Christ comes for you during the rapture in Jesus name. Remember this  exhortation of the blessed Holy Spirit on how to relate with cruel enemies  at all times.
