Beloved, one great lesson you learn from the Bible days saints either in the old or new testaments, was that, they never depend on the arms of flesh for anything. The reasons for this are:
1. The arms of flesh have a lifespan that can end, before the promise is fulfilled.

Isaiah 2:22. Cease ye from man, whose breath is in his nostrils: for wherein is he to be accounted of?

2. Help from arm of flesh is vain and not dependable. They will fail you when you needed them most.

Psalms 60:11-12. Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man. Through God we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies.

3. You loose God’s help leaning on man and come under His fiery curse.

Jeremiah 17:5-6. Thus saith the Lord; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the Lord. For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land and not inhabited.

But then, you can look up to God as many times, at all times and He will never fail. He is too faithful, He can not fail. He has all it takes to address every challenge you bring before Him. Beloved, you too look unto God concerning this heart breaking issue before you, He will not fall you in Jesus name.

Isaiah 45:22. Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.

Psalms 34:5. They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.

James 1:5. If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

Whatever you are lacking, not only faith ask from God, He will give you without upbraiding you.
Beloved, God showed Zechariah this prophecy about the coming dependable Redeemer, Messaiah and Emmanuel, God with us, Jesus Christ, His only begotten Son, who shall be crucified for the restoration of man’s dignity lost at Eden. Everyone and anyone that looks to Him alone shall not be disappointed. See it.

Zechariah 12:10. And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.

God taught the Israelites an unforgettable lesson of looking wholeheartedly on God alone through the incident of the fiery serpents killing them for rebellion. They lived after been beaten by the solution provided by God to save them. See it.

Numbers 21:8 -9. And the LORD said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live. And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived.

Beloved, the Bible is repleted with many saints in Bible days that looked up to God alone wholeheartedly in very very difficult challenges and were not disappointed. You too follow their examples, you shall not be disappointed in Jesus name. See some of them.
1. Jehoshaphat in crisis of three nations that came against Judah, looked to God alone and had unusual victory.

2 Chronicles 20:1-13 It came to pass after this also, that the children of Moab, and the children of Ammon, and with them other beside the Ammonites, came against Jehoshaphat to battle. Then there came some that told Jehoshaphat, saying, There cometh a great multitude against thee from beyond the sea on this side Syria; and, behold, they be in Hazazontamar, which is Engedi. And Jehoshaphat feared, and set himself to seek the Lord, and proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah. And Judah gathered themselves together, to ask help of the Lord: even out of all the cities of Judah they came to seek the Lord. And Jehoshaphat stood in the congregation of Judah and Jerusalem, in the house of the Lord, before the new court, And said, O Lord God of our fathers, art not thou God in heaven? and rulest not thou over all the kingdoms of the heathen? and in thine hand is there not power and might, so that none is able to withstand thee? Art not thou our God, who didst drive out the inhabitants of this land before thy people Israel, and gavest it to the seed of Abraham thy friend for ever? And they dwelt therein, and have built thee a sanctuary therein for thy name, saying, If, when evil cometh upon us, as the sword, judgment, or pestilence, or famine, we stand before this house, and in thy presence, (for thy name is in this house,) and cry unto thee in our affliction, then thou wilt hear and help. And now, behold, the children of Ammon and Moab and mount Seir, whom thou wouldest not let Israel invade, when they came out of the land of Egypt, but they turned from them, and destroyed them not; Behold, I say, how they reward us, to come to cast us out of thy possession, which thou hast given us to inherit. O our God, wilt thou not judge them? for we have no might against this great company that cometh against us; neither know we what to do: but our eyes are upon thee. And all Judah stood before the Lord, with their little ones, their wives, and their children.

2 Chronicles 20:22-24. And when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten. For the children of Ammon and Moab stood up against the inhabitants of mount Seir, utterly to slay and destroy them: and when they had made an end of the inhabitants of Seir, every one helped to destroy another. And when Judah came toward the watch tower in the wilderness, they looked unto the multitude, and, behold, they were dead bodies fallen to the earth, and none escaped.

2. Hezrekiah had victory over the powerful and terrifying king of Assyria looking unto God alone.

2 Kings 19:14-19. And Hezekiah received the letter of the hand of the messengers, and read it: and Hezekiah went up into the house of the Lord, and spread it before the Lord. And Hezekiah prayed before the Lord, and said, O Lord God of Israel, which dwellest between the cherubims, thou art the God, even thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth; thou hast made heaven and earth. Lord, bow down thine ear, and hear: open, Lord, thine eyes, and see: and hear the words of Sennacherib, which hath sent him to reproach the living God. Of a truth, Lord, the kings of Assyria have destroyed the nations and their lands, And have cast their gods into the fire: for they were no gods, but the work of men’s hands, wood and stone: therefore they have destroyed them. Now therefore, O Lord our God, I beseech thee, save thou us out of his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that thou art the Lord God, even thou only.

2 Kings 19:20. Then Isaiah the son of Amoz sent to Hezekiah, saying, Thus saith the Lord God of Israel, That which thou hast prayed to me against Sennacherib king of Assyria I have heard.

2 Kings 19:32-37. Therefore thus saith the Lord concerning the king of Assyria, He shall not come into this city, nor shoot an arrow there, nor come before it with shield, nor cast a bank against it. By the way that he came, by the same shall he return, and shall not come into this city, saith the Lord. For I will defend this city, to save it, for mine own sake, and for my servant David’s sake. And it came to pass that night, that the angel of the Lord went out, and smote in the camp of the Assyrians an hundred fourscore and five thousand: and when they arose early in the morning, behold, they were all dead corpses. So Sennacherib king of Assyria departed, and went and returned, and dwelt at Nineveh. And it came to pass, as he was worshipping in the house of Nisroch his god, that Adrammelech and Sharezer his sons smote him with the sword: and they escaped into the land of Armenia. And Esarhaddon his son reigned in his stead.

It is your own turn to look unto Him alone wholeheartedly and your desired breakthrough shall be given you in Jesus name.

Micah 7:7: Therefore I will look unto the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me.

Dearly beloved, check through the scriptures or listen to men and women in this contemporary time, you will discover how merciful, compassionate and dependable Jesus has always been. He is lookable . Please look unto Him. He will surely provide you with rest, you so much desire on this present concern of yours.

Hebrews 12:2. Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Matthew 11:28. Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Several hundreds of years before His earthly ministry, Zechariah prophesied about humanity looking unto Him, who was crucified for their desired liberation.

This same crucifixion was prophesied by many other servants of God. One of them was king and prophet a David.

Psalms 22:16 -17. For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet. I may tell all my bones: they look andstare upon me.

See how the prophecies were fulfilled to the letter.

John 19:34 -37. But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water. And he that saw it bare record, and his record is true: and he knoweth that he saith true, that ye might believe. For these things were done, that the scripture should be fulfilled, A bone of him shall not be broken. And again another scripture saith, They shall look on him whom they pierced.

Even before the crucifixion, Jesus assured believers of all ages and that includes you, that, if anyone and everyone shall look unto Him, as the Israelites looked unto the serpent on the pole in the wilderness, such a person shall receive desired succour.

John 3:13 -16. And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, eventhe Son of man which is in heaven. And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

John 6: 40. And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son,

and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.
So what are you waiting for? Your desired rest is in Jesus, come to Him. Look unto Him wholeheartedly alone, He will not fail you. See what Jesus is saying to you in particular, because of this present challenge?

Mark 9:21-23. And he asked his father, How long is it ago since this came unto him? And he said, Of a child. And ofttimes it hath cast him into the fire, and into the waters, to destroy him: but if thou canst do any thing, have compassion on us, and help us. Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.

Mark 10:51-52. And Jesus answered and said unto him, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? The blind man said unto him, Lord, that I might receive my sight. And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.

Luke 8:49-50. While he yet spake, there cometh one from the ruler of the synagogue’s house, saying to him, Thy daughter is dead; trouble not the Master. But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole.

John 4:49-50. The nobleman saith unto him, Sir, come down ere my child die. Jesus saith unto him, Go thy way; thy son liveth. And the man believed the word that Jesus had spoken unto him, and he went his way.

John 11:39-40. Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days. Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God?

LOOKING UNTO JESUS ALONE WHOLEHEARTEDLY AND RECEIVING DESIRED REST FROM ALL CHALLENGES. IT IS YOUR TURN.
Friend, the prophecy of Zechariah concerning the crucifixion of Christ has so much to do with end time events. Especially for the likes of you preparing daily for the dawning rapture.
This is because seven years after the rapture, you and I shall come with Jesus to reign on this present earth for one thousand years.
By the time He comes with us, the descendants of those who pierced the hands and feet of our Lord, shall behold Him with astonishment and wail for their wrong doings. We are the people referred to as clouds coming with Jesus our king. See it.

Revelation 1:7: Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

Jude 1:14-15. And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.

Revelation 19:11-16. And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, King of Kings, and Lord of Lords.

So continue your expectation of Him. and preparation for His coming as the wise virgins did. This will help you to be ready when He comes. Do everything you are doing from the perspective of eternity and avoid anyone, everyone and everything that can impact negatively on your preparation.

Colossians 3:1-4. If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

Romans 16:17-20. Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple. For your obedience is come abroad unto all men. I am glad therefore on your behalf: but yet I would have you wise unto that which is good, and simple concerning evil. And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.
