Look thou upon me, and be merciful [ gracious and favorable ] unto me, as thou usest to do unto those that love thy name. - Psalms 119:132

Look thou upon me, and be merciful [ gracious and favorable ] unto me, as thou usest to do unto those that love thy name. – Psalms 119:132

Look thou upon me, and be merciful [ gracious and favorable ] unto me, as thou usest to do unto those that love thy name. – Psalms 119:132

Dearly beloved brethren, we are grateful to God for His unfailing ceaseless mercies through which, we are receiving unmerited divers blessings.

It was through His mercies, you were saved and then, other blessings followed after.

Titus 3:4-6 But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; 3:6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;

You must continue to be mindful of the fact that you are what you are, not because of what you have done, but, because of all He had done for you in particular, unmerited.

Rom 9:16. So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.

These unmerited mercies were the ground for which king David was appealing to God to remember him and answer his prayers. See it yourself.

Look thou upon me, and be merciful [ gracious and favorable ] unto me, as thou usest to do unto those that love thy name. – Psalms 119:132

See this same passage in other Bible version’s.

NLT
Psalms 119:132 Come and show me your mercy, as you do for all who love your name.

AMP BIBLE
Psalm 119:132 Look upon me, be merciful unto me, and show me favor, as is Your way to those who love Your name.

Beloved, see this same passage amplified.

Here is, 1. David’s request for God’s favour to himself: “Look graciously upon me; let me have thy smiles, and the light of thy countenance. Take cognizance of me and my affairs, and be merciful to me; let me taste the sweetness of thy mercy and receive the gifts of thy mercy.” See how humble his petition is. He asks not for the operations of God’s hand, only for the smiles of his face; a good look is enough; and for that he does not plead merit, but implores mercy.

Over and over, the Bible reveals that king David reaching out to God, pleading for His ceaseless unmerited mercies. See some of them.

Psalms 119:41 Let thy mercies come also unto me, O LORD, even thy salvation, according to thy word.
Psalms 119:58 I intreated thy favour with my whole heart: be merciful unto me according to thy word.
Psalms 119:76 Let, I pray thee, thy merciful kindness be for my comfort, according to thy word unto thy servant.
Psalms 119:77 Let thy tender mercies come unto me, that I may live: for thy law is my delight.

Beloved you also can reach out to God, concerning this your present challenges and ask for His promised mercies.. You shall never be denied in Jesus name.

Hebrews 4:15-16 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
Look thou upon me, and be merciful [ gracious and favorable ] unto me, as thou usest to do unto those that love thy name. – Psalms 119:132
