Beloved, do you know that saints of old realized something that helped them immensely in their walk with God? Such a thing is hardly seen in the lives of majority of believers today, globally. THE SAINTS OF OLD, REALIZED, THEY WERE PILGRIMS, ON TEMPORARY TRANSIT ON THIS SIDE OF HEAVEN. Hebrews 11:13 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.
THE PURSUIT OF THE SAINTS OF OLD WAS TO ATTAIN AND LIVE IN THE CITY, GOD HAD PREPARED FOR THEM. Beloved, follow aftet this same pursuit , henceforth, for your eternal well being. Heb 11:14 — Heb 11:16 For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country. And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned. But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.
HOWEVER, THEY DISCOVERED THAT FOR THIS PURSUIT TO BE REALIZED, THEY MUST AGREE WITH GOD. Amos 3:3. Can two walk together, except they be agreed? GOD IS HOLY. ONLY HOLY SAINTS CAN DWELL WITH HIM. 1Pe 1:15 — 1Pe 1:16 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy. THIS MADE THEM TO BE ASKING THE QUESTION FROM THE LORD, THE QUALIFICATION OR REQUISITE FOR HEAVENLY DWELLERS. Psalms 15: 1-5 Lord, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill? He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart.He that backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour. In whose eyes a vile person is contemned; but he honoureth them that fear the Lord.He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not. He that putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh reward against the innocent.He that doeth these things shall never be moved. Psalms 24:3-4. Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? or who shall stand in his holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity,nor sworn deceitfully. GOD TOLD ABRAHAM, HIS EXPECTATIONS FROM HIM FOR THEIR RELATIONSHIP TO BE SUSTAINED HERE AND HEREAFTER. Genesis 17:1. And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the Lord appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.
HOWEVER, GOD REALIZED HE NEEDED TO HELP HIS SAINTS TO ATTAIN HIS EXPECTATIONS. See what He promised to do and He did. . Ezekiel 36:26. Deuteronomy 30:6: And the LORD thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live. Jeremiah 32:39: And I will give them one heart, and one way, that they may fear me for ever, for the good of them, and of their children after them: Ezekiel 11:19-20. And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh: That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God. WHAT GOD PROMISED THE SAINTS OF OLD, THEY DESIRED IT, ATTAINED AND SUSTAINED IT AND IT BENEFITED THEM HERE AND HEREAFTER. see it. Psalms 51:10: Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. Beloved, you too do same for your earthly and eternal well-being.
Dearly beloved, Jesus our Lord was the epitome of believers Christian lifestyle. During His earthly ministry, He determinedly lived a lifestyle, He expected from His followers of all ages and you in particular. John 17:19. And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth. He did this, because He had a glorious eternal gift for all believers of all ages, especially you. John 14:1-3. Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. HOWEVER, THIS GLORIOUS ETERNAL GIFT IS MEANT FOR , ONLY BELIEVERS, WHO ARE DETERMINED TO MEET HIS EXPECTATIONS. Ephesians 5:25-27. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
I am persuaded of you in particular that you are looking forward to benefit from the promised eternal gift of our Lord Jesus Christ. Because this is your desire and lounging, you must determinedly meet the requisite. 2 Peter 3:13-14. Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless. The scriptures referred to this requisite in different names. See them.
1.Sanctification : John 17:17. Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
2. Purity of heart.: Matthew 5:8. Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
3. Perfection :Matthew 5:48. Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
4 Holiness :Hebrews 12:14. Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord: SO
BECAUSE YOU ARE DESIROUS TO PARTAKE IN THIS GLORIOUS GIFT, REACH OUT WHOLEHEARTEDLY TO THE BLESSED HOLY SPIRIT, NOW AND RECEIVE THIS EXPERIENCE THAT SHALL USHER YOU INTO YOUR DESIRED HAVEN. It shall be done in Jesus name. Romans 15:16 That I should be the minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Ghost. Friend, no doubt it is dawn on you from what you are seeing and hearing from the news globally, that , the end time is here and the rapture is dawning. REGRETTABLY, HOWEVER, IS THE PRESENT STATE OF THE UNIVERSAL CHURCH OF CHRIST, WHO HAVE ABYSMALLY DEPARTED FROM THE PATHWAY THAT LEADS TO LIFE ETERNAL. instead of being a glorious church, Christ is coming for, they have become a graceless church. Pause here and be very sincere to yourself. Are you now a graceless church or still part of the few remaining glorious church? See how the scriptures describe a graceless church and match it with your present spiritual estate and lifestyle. Should there be similarities, do something drastic, to help you prepare for the dawning rapture. 2 Timothy 3:1-5. This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
Friend, it is very easy to know whether you are part of the gracefull or glorious church, Christ is coming for. The Bible says by their fruits you shall know them. See what characterise a gracefull or glorious church Titus 2:11-14. For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. Ephesians 5:25-27. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
If this is your present spiritual estate and lifestyle, sustain it, if not, come now to Calvary for sanctification, for purity of heart, for biblical holiness of life or perfection through Christ.
