LEARNING MEEKNESS FROM CHRIST | Numbers 12:3 Now the man Moses was very meek, above all the men which were upon the face of the earth.

Dearly beloved, glory and honour to our God in heaven for making you and your household to partake in the Easter Sunday of 2020.

As the whole world and you celebrates the resurrection of Christ, everything He died for shall be your portion, now and at eternity in Jesus name.

Because this shall be so, you can deliberately put measures in place that shall facilitate your actualisation of these noble, novel goals.

I pray for you in particular earnestly, that God shall enable you to realise earthly and eternal inheritances of the resurrection of Christ in Jesus name.

The Bible reveals that Moses, the servant of the Lord was very meek than the entirety of humanity on the face of the earth.

We glorify our Father in heaven for the enabling grace, He gave Moses to accomplish this unusual feat of meekness.

However, there is an exception to this. A greater than Moses in every attribute, especially meekness was found in our Lord Jesus Christ, during His earthly ministry.

1. Prophecy.

Isaiah 42:1 -4. Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles. He shall not cry, nor lift up, nor cause his voice to be heard in the street. A bruised reed shall he not break, and the smoking flax shall he not quench: he shall bring forth judgment unto truth. He shall not fail nor be discouraged, till he have set judgment in the earth: and the isles shall wait for his law.

Zechariah 9:9: ¶Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.

Mat 21:5 Tell ye the daughter of Sion, Behold, thy King cometh unto thee, meek, and sitting upon an ass, and a colt the foal of an ass.

2. Reality.

Mat 11:28 — Mat 11:29 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

Matthew 12:19-20. He shall not strive, nor cry; neither shall any man hear his voice in the streets. A bruised reed shall he not break, and smoking flax shall he not quench, till he send forth judgment unto victory.

Philippians 2:5-8. Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

1 Peter 2:21-23 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth: Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously:

It was because of this that made our Lord Jesus Christ, to exhort His followers of all ages, especially you to learn from Him, for the purpose of receiving earthly and eternal blessings derivable from learning from Him. See this.

Dearly beloved receive grace to live a lifetime of the lifestyle of meekness after the order of Jesus Christ in Jesus name.

1. Earthly.

Psa 22:26 The meek shall eat and be satisfied:they shall praise the Lord that seek him:your heart shall live for ever.

Psa 25:9 The meek will he guide in judgment:and the meek will he teach his way.

Psalms 76:9 When God arose to judgment, to save all the meek of the earth. Selah.

Psa 147:6 The Lord lifteth up the meek:he casteth the wicked down to the ground.

Psalms 149:4 For the Lord taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation.

Isa 29:19 The meek also shall increase their joy in the Lord,and the poor among men shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.

Zep 2:3 Seek ye the Lord, all ye meek of the earth,which have wrought his judgment;seek righteousness, seek meekness:it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the Lord’s anger.

2. Eternal

Matthew 5:5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

Psa 37:11 But the meek shall inherit the earth;and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.

The Earth the meek shall inherit is not this present earth, but the new earth and new heaven, after the rapture of the church.. See it.

2Pe 3:11 — 2Pe 3:14 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

And all that you will need to do is to keep on learning of the nature of our Lord as revealed in the Bible and be doing them.

John 2:5 His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.

Gods abundance grace shall abound in your life to attain these inheritances now and at eternity in Jesus name.

Titus 2:11-13. For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

2 Corinthians 9:8. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:
