Basically, the bible teaches that the fear of God is foundational to being truly wise; Learning that is not built upon knowledge of the Lord is worthless.
Joel 2:21. Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice:for the Lord will do great things.
Glory to God, He has brought you to the new year. Even though the year is near, the world still remains the same.
As you listen to news globally and consider the happenings around the world generally, you will discover that, the Worldling and churchgoers live in perpetual fear.
Fear of the unknown , fear of uncertainties and news of worrisome and fearful things happening virtually in both developed, developing and undeveloped nations of the earth.
The truth is this, it is a confirmation of the scriptures of things that shall herald the last days events. See some of the prophecies.
Luke 21:25-26. And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
Matthew 24:33-36. So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
HOWEVER, BELOVED, THE TRUTH AND REALITY IS THAT, THE WORLDLING AND ALL THESE NOMINAL CHURCHGOERS ARE IN FEAR, WHERE THERE IS NOTHING TO FEAR.
For you always remember, there is nothing to fear.
Psalms 53:5. There were they in great fear, where no fear was: for God hath scattered the bones of him that encampeth against thee: thou hast put them to shame, because God hath despised them.
Those that chose to fear God, like you, has nothing to fear anytime and anywhere. God pointedly told Isaiah never ever to fear anything and anyone apart from Him alone. This should be your own lifestyle too. Fear God after the order of the Bible and fear nothing else, irrespective of news you are hearing around you.
Isaiah 8:9-13. Associate yourselves, O ye people, and ye shall be broken in pieces; and give ear, all ye of far countries: gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces; gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces. Take counsel together, and it shall come to nought; speak the word, and it shall not stand: for God is with us. For the Lord spake thus to me with a strong hand, and instructed me that I should not walk in the way of this people, saying, Say ye not, A confederacy, to all them to whom this people shall say, A confederacy; neither fear ye their fear, nor be afraid. Sanctify the Lord of hosts himself; and let him be your fear, and let him be your dread.
God our loving Father in heaven command His children of all ages and that includes you to fear Him.
Jeremiah 5:22. Fear ye not me? saith the Lord: will ye not tremble at my presence, which have placed the sand for the bound of the sea by a perpetual decree, that it cannot pass it: and though the waves thereof toss themselves, yet can they not prevail; though they roar, yet can they not pass over it?
Once you chose to fear God and commit yourself to doing His wills, then, there is nothing else to fear. This was the message God told Joel the prophet to tell the Jews, fear me and fear nothing else. See it. When you chose to fear God, joy and gladness certainly shall be your portion. This is your heritage for this year, till Christ comes in Jesus name.
Joel 2:21. Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice:for the Lord will do great things.
From time immemorial, fear not has always been God message to everyone that chose to fear Him. See some of them and key into it.
Abraham :
Genesis 15:1. After these things the word of the Lord came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.
Isaac :
Genesis 26:24-25. And the Lord appeared unto him the same night, and said, I am the God of Abraham thy father: fear not, for I am with thee, and will bless thee, and multiply thy seed for my servant Abraham’s sake. And he builded an altar there, and called upon the name of the Lord, and pitched his tent there: and there Isaac’s servants digged a well.
Jacob:
Genesis 46:2-4. And God spake unto Israel in the visions of the night, and said, Jacob, Jacob. And he said, Here am I. And he said, I am God, the God of thy father: fear not to go down into Egypt; for I will there make of thee a great nation: I will go down with thee into Egypt; and I will also surely bring thee up again: and Joseph shall put his hand upon thine eyes.
Moses and Israel :

Joshua :
Joshua 8:1. And the Lord said unto Joshua, Fear not, neither be thou dismayed: take all the people of war with thee, and arise, go up to Ai: see, I have given into thy hand the king of Ai, and his people, and his city, and his land:
Isaiah and his people :
Isaiah 41:13-14. For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee. Fear not, thou worm Jacob, and ye men of Israel; I will help thee, saith the Lord, and thy redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.
Isaiah 54:4. Fear not; for thou shalt not be ashamed: neither be thou confounded; for thou shalt not be put to shame: for thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth, and shalt not remember the reproach of thy widowhood any more.
Always remember this, once you chose to fear God with all your heart according to the scriptures, whatever is happening anywhere and everywhere, for you there is nothing to fear again. Hallelujah .
Dont ever forget this. Fear is not a thing. It is a spirit and a mighty weapon in the hand of the devil. FEAR means:
FALSE
EXPERIENCE
APPEARING
REAL.
It is the opposite of faith.FAITH means
FORSAKING
ALL
I
TRUST
HIM ( JESUS )
But as a child of God, redeemed with the precious blood of Jesus, God never gave you that spirit, violently reject him.
2 Timothy 1:7. For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
Your Father in heaven has committed Himself, never ever to leave or forsake you, because you belong to Jesus, so never ever give in to fear anytime and every where.
Hebrews 13:5-6. Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
Remember, Jesus Christ is the truth personified, who knows the truth through and through. He took time during His earthly ministry to teach Bible days believers and everyone that follows after them and that includes you. He taught, whom, believers like you should fear and how to fear Him. You must fear God, the Father, and Him alone. But then, when you fear Him, there is what to do as revealed in the scriptures.
Luke 12:5. But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.
See how to fear Him and be delivered from hell.
Job 28:28. And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.
Proverbs 3:7. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil.
Proverbs 8:13. The fear of the Lord is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.
Now after you have chosen to fear God and do the needful as contained in the scriptures, as Jesus said, there is nothing else to fear. See what He said to all believers of all ages, especially you.
Matthew 10:26. Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known.
Matthew 10:28. And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
Luke 8:49-50. While he yet spake, there cometh one from the ruler of the synagogue’s house, saying to him, Thy daughter is dead; trouble not the Master. But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole.
Luke 12:32. Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.
See the message He sent to Paul , when his life and others were threatened.
Acts 27:22-25. And now I exhort you to be of good cheer: for there shall be no loss of any man’s life among you, but of the ship. For there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am, and whom I serve, Saying, Fear not, Paul; thou must be brought before Caesar: and, lo, God hath given thee all them that sail with thee. Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me.
Like Paul of old, Jesus is sending same message to you, whatever is happening around you, fear God and depart from evil and then until He comes to take you in the dawning rapture, there is nothing else to fear.
JESUS TAUGHT BELIEVERS OF ALL AGES AND YOU IN PARTICULAR, TO FEAR GOD AND DEPART FROM EVIL, AND THEN FEAR NOTHING ELSE.
Has it occurred to you while some people shall be taken away from the earth, before the great tribulation begins and why some inside and outside the church shall suffer in that looming fearful event? It is very simple. The people all over the world are classified under two categories. The first group are those that stubbornly chose not to fear God. They shall reap gruesome consequences. This shall never be your portion in Jesus name. I am persuaded, you are not one of them. But , then please check and be sure, you are not one of them. See what the Bible says about them:
Jeremiah 2:19. Thine own wickedness shall correct thee, and thy backslidings shall reprove thee: know therefore and see that it is an evil thing and bitter, that thou hast forsaken the Lord thy God, and that my fear is not in thee, saith the Lord God of hosts.
Exodus 9:29-30. And Moses said unto him, As soon as I am gone out of the city, I will spread abroad my hands unto the Lord; and the thunder shall cease, neither shall there be any more hail; that thou mayest know how that the earth is the Lord’s. But as for thee and thy servants, I know that ye will not yet fear the Lord God.
2 Kings 17:34 Unto this day they do after the former manners: they fear not the Lord, neither do they after their statutes, or after their ordinances, or after the law and commandment which the Lord commanded the children of Jacob, whom he named Israel;
Proverbs 1:29-31. For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the Lord: They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof. Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices.
But then, see the second group. Those that shall partake in the dawning rapture belong to this group. They feared the Lord and determinedly departs from every evil as revealed by the Bible. This certainly is the group, you belong. The good Lord shall help you to the end in Jesus name.
Jeremiah 10:7. Who would not fear thee, O King of nations? for to thee doth it appertain: forasmuch as among all the wise men of the nations, and in all their kingdoms, there is none like unto thee.
Hebrews 11:7. By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.
Revelation 1:17-18. And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.
Revelation 15:3-4. And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints. Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.
This is the group you belong to. Remain there till Jesus comes and He shall find you ready as one of the wise Virgin in Jesus name.
See you at the top in Jesus name.
