Knowing JESUS – THE MAGNANIMITY OF GOD

I will not execute the fierceness of mine anger, I will not return to destroy Ephraim: for I am God, and not man; the Holy One in the midst of thee: and I will not enter into the city. – Hosea 11:8-9.

The magnanimity of God is the reason why He is benevolent and generous, strong in self-restraint, temperate and long suffering, even though man doesn’t deserve any of this.

No doubt you would have seen and heard of innumerable number of people thronging to damnable hell daily and wonder why, they experienced such pitiable circumstances.

Well, because you are a very wise person, learn from it and avoid it.

In the first place, they should not have experienced such a thing, if they have taken advantage of the unfathomable magnanimity of God.

PLEASE BELOVED, DO EVERYTHING TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF IT.

What must you know about God? See some of them, even though they are inexhaustible.

Lamentations 3:33: For he doth not afflict willingly nor grieve the children of men.

Ezekiel 33:11. Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord God, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?

John 3:16-17. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

Romans 5:8. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Ephesians 2:1-5. And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:

Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.

But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;).

1 Timothy 2:3-4. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

2 Peter 3:9. The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Micah 7:18-20. Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy.

Also He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea. Thou wilt perform the truth to Jacob, and the mercy to Abraham, which thou hast sworn unto our fathers from the days of old.

How can God be all of these and many more and yet, multitude in the time past and now, inside and outside of the church have their souls damned?

THE SIMPLE ANSWER TO THIS, IS THERE DELIBERATE NEGLECT AND REJECTION OF THE MAGNANIMITY OF GOD.

Pause a little here. Have you yourself taken advantage of this unfathomable mercies ? Anyone that had gone to hell or will go to hell will regret so much, when they remembered, all the opportunities they had to be saved, but turned them down. This shall never be your portion in Jesus name.

So if you are not yet saved, please reach out to God now and be biblically born again.

IT WAS THIS MAGNANIMITY, THAT MADE ISRAEL, REMAIN AS A NATION AND A PEOPLE TODAY.

Although they had sinned against God so terribly and all they merited was just justice and recomence that would had merited complete annihilation, yet Jehovah, for his love and mercy’s sake, substituted grace for justice, and would not destroy them from off the face of the earth.

I will not execute the fierceness of mine anger, I will not return to destroy Ephraim. It is at once the effect and evidence of that feeling of divine compassion.

God would neither execute the burning heat of his wrath, for so the words literally mean, nor destroy Ephraim utterly, or again any more as formerly.

Yet, God left them a remnant because of His unfathomable mercies. What God did to Israel is still being done today, even though many refused to take advantage of it.

Isaiah 1:9: Except the LORD of hosts had left unto us a very small remnant, we should have been as Sodom, and we should have been like unto Gomorrah.

See what God did to King David and the prodigal son.

2 Samuel 12:7-13. And Nathan said to David, Thou art the man. Thus saith the Lord God of Israel, I anointed thee king over Israel, and I delivered thee out of the hand of Saul;

And I gave thee thy master’s house, and thy master’s wives into thy bosom, and gave thee the house of Israel and of Judah; and if that had been too little, I would moreover have given unto thee such and such things.

Wherefore hast thou despised the commandment of the Lord, to do evil in his sight? thou hast killed Uriah the Hittite with the sword, and hast taken his wife to be thy wife, and hast slain him with the sword of the children of Ammon.

Now therefore the sword shall never depart from thine house; because thou hast despised me, and hast taken the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be thy wife.

Thus saith the Lord, Behold, I will raise up evil against thee out of thine own house, and I will take thy wives before thine eyes, and give them unto thy neighbour, and he shall lie with thy wives in the sight of this sun.

For thou didst it secretly: but I will do this thing before all Israel, and before the sun. And David said unto Nathan, I have sinned against the Lord. And Nathan said unto David, The Lord also hath put away thy sin; thou shalt not die.

Luke 15:11-24. And he said, A certain man had two sons: the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me.

he divided unto them his living. Not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living.

When he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want. Also he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country; sent him into his fields to feed swine.

he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat: and no man gave unto him. When he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father’s have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!

I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee, And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants. And he arose, and came to his father.

But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him. And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son.

But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet:

bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry: For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.

Please take advantage of this magnanimity, because it is time bound, it is not there forever and tomorrow might be too late.

Isaiah 55:6-7. Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

2 Corinthians 6:2. (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)

May the good Lord help you to be wise unto salvation in Jesus name.

if Old Testament people enjoyed all of these from God, how much more now, in this dispensation of grace?

You wonder why Jesus Christ went through the most shameful and most painful death on the cross to redeem humanity and yet, multitude inside and outside the church are still having their souls damned.

YOUR OWN SOUL SHALL NOT BE DAMNED IN JESUS NAME.

But then, have you sincerely and biblically taken advantage of the vicarious sacrifice of Christ? Pause and answer in the affirmative. Yes or no. If yes, fine. If no, why? And why not do it now, right away, because eternity is close to you, beyond your thinking.

Today, the dawning rapture can take place or the clarion call of death,shall reach hundreds of thousands of people today. They never expected it, if it can happen to them, it can happen to you too. How prepared are you for eternity?

Hebrews 9:27. And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

See how the Bible describes the inexhaustible and unfathomable magnanimity of Jesus Christ our Lord.

John 6:37. All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.

Luke 23:33-34. And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand, and the other on the left.

Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.

Matthew 23:37: O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!

Luke 19:41-42. ¶And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it, Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes.

Matthew 18:21-27. Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.

Therefore is the kingdom of heaven likened unto a certain king, which would take account of his servants. And when he had begun to reckon, one was brought unto him, which owed him ten thousand talents.

But forasmuch as he had not to pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, and his wife, and children, and all that he had, and payment to be made. The servant therefore fell down, and worshipped him, saying, Lord, have patience with me, and I will pay thee all.

Then the lord of that servant was moved with compassion, and loosed him, and forgave him the debt.

See beneficiaries of these magnanimity in Bible days. If they could benefit it, you also must. It is your free heritage.

1. Peter:

Matthew 26:69-75. Now Peter sat without in the palace: and a damsel came unto him, saying, Thou also wast with Jesus of Galilee. But he denied before them all, saying, I know not what thou sayest.

When he was gone out into the porch, another maid saw him, and said unto them that were there, This fellow was also with Jesus of Nazareth. And again he denied with an oath, I do not know the man.

After a while came unto him they that stood by, and said to Peter, Surely thou also art one of them; for thy speech bewrayeth thee. Then began he to curse and to swear, saying, I know not the man.

Immediately the cock crew. And Peter remembered the word of Jesus, which said unto him, Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice. And he went out, and wept bitterly. Mark 16:6-7.

And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him. But go your way, tell his disciples and Peter that he goeth before you into Galilee: there shall ye see him, as he said unto you.

2. The malefactor crucified with Jesus :,

Luke 23:39-43. And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us. But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation?

And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss. And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise.

3. Paul apostle :

1 Timothy 1:12-15. And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry; Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.

And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus. This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.

Now it is your turn. Reach out to Jesus now.

JESUS’ UNFATHOMABLE MAGNANIMITY TO DAMNABLE SINNERS WITHIN AND OUTSIDE THE CHURCH, TAKE ADVANTAGE OF IT.

Friend, this magnanimity is the singular reasons why some shall be part of the dawning rapture and some inside and outside of the church shall miss it. You shall not miss it in Jesus name. You see as God had shown kindness to us,

He expect you too, to do same to others. Very unfortunately, the Worldling and the care free believers find it difficult to be compassionate to others and pardon them. See it yourself.

Proverbs 24:29. Say not, I will do so to him as he hath done to me: I will render to the man according to his work.

Matthew 18:27-35. Then the lord of that servant was moved with compassion, and loosed him, and forgave him the debt. But the same servant went out, and found one of his fellowservants, which owed him an hundred pence:

Also he e laid hands on him, and took him by the throat, saying, Pay me that thou owest. And his fellowservant fell down at his feet, and besought him, saying, Have patience with me, and I will pay thee all.

He would not: but went and cast him into prison, till he should pay the debt. So when his fellowservants saw what was done, they were very sorry, and came and told unto their lord all that was done.

Then his lord, after that he had called him, said unto him, O thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all that debt, because thou desiredst me:

Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I had pity on thee? And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him.

So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.

Friend, because you shall partake of the dawning rapture, see the lifestyle you must be living till Jesus comes.

Matthew 5:44: But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; Romans 12:14: Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.

1 Peter 3:9. Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing.

See examples of people like you that did this in Bible days .

Receive grace to do so too in Jesus name.

Acts 7:59-60. And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit. He kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. When he had said this, he fell asleep.

Joseph. –

Genesis 50:15-21. And when Joseph’s brethren saw that their father was dead, they said, Joseph will peradventure hate us, and will certainly requite us all the evil which we did unto him. And they sent a messenger unto Joseph, saying,

Thy father did command before he died, saying, So shall ye say unto Joseph, Forgive, I pray thee now, the trespass of thy brethren, and their sin; for they did unto thee evil:

now, we pray thee, forgive the trespass of the servants of the God of thy father. Also Joseph wept when they spake unto him. And his brethren also went and fell down before his face; and they said, Behold, we be thy servants.

Joseph said unto them, Fear not: for am I in the place of God? But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.

Now therefore fear ye not: I will nourish you, and your little ones. And he comforted them, and spake kindly unto them.

Go and do likewise and take advantage now, the fathomless magnanimity of Jesus still availing at Calvary.
