The promise never to “Cast Away” doesnt have an expiration date as long as a man lives on earth. It does not mean, “I will not cast out a sinner at his first coming,” but “I will never cast him out” which means anytime anyday.

Hosea 6:1 Come, and let us return unto the Lord: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up.

Beloved, all glory and Honour goes to our Father in heaven for the unmerited gracious wonders that was ours, that saw us through the traumatic and troublous year 2018.

Your joy shall be full this year and no man would be able to take your joy away in Jesus name. Happy and prosperous new year to you in Jesus name name.

Psalms 136:1-4. O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever. O give thanks unto the God of gods: for his mercy endureth for ever.

O give thanks to the Lord of lords: for his mercy endureth for ever. To him who alone doeth great wonders: for his mercy endureth for ever.

All over the world, believers and unbelievers alike would be making resolutions of the kind of persons they want to be as the new year rolls in.

Very unfortunately, these resolutions are always futile, because the will to carry them out are not with men, but with God.

Romans 9:16. So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.

Philippians 2:13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

No doubt as God has brought you in particular to this new glorious year, you would have made some resolutions.

Take a cue from the Israelites at the time of Hosea, as they looked inward to find out what brought about their deplorable estate, they discovered it was not God’s harshness but their own wayward impenitent.

SO COLLECTIVELY, THEY TOOK A FIRM DECISION TO RETURN TO GOD, TO FACILITATE THEIR ANTICIPATED SPEEDY RECOVERY. See it.

Hosea 6:1 Come, and let us return unto the Lord: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up.

Glory to God, He took notice of their penitence and reached to them in mercy, as He has always being doing.

Recount His gracious pardon of wicked king Ahab , adulterous king David and even the people of Nineveh.

1 Kings 21:28-29. And the word of the Lord came to Elijah the Tishbite, saying, Seest thou how Ahab humbleth himself before me?

Because he humbleth himself before me, I will not bring the evil in his days: but in his son’s days will I bring the evil upon his house.

2 Samuel 12:13. And David said unto Nathan, I have sinned against the Lord. And Nathan said unto David, The Lord also hath put away thy sin; thou shalt not die.

Jonah 3:5-10. So the people of Nineveh believed God, and proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth, from the greatest of them even to the least of them.

For word came unto the king of Nineveh, and he arose from his throne, and he laid his robe from him, and covered him with sackcloth, and sat in ashes.

And he caused it to be proclaimed and published through Nineveh by the decree of the king and his nobles, saying, Let neither man nor beast, herd nor flock, taste any thing:

let them not feed, nor drink water: But let man and beast be covered with sackcloth, and cry mightily unto God:

yea, let them turn every one from his evil way, and from the violence that is in their hands.

Who can tell if God will turn and repent, and turn away from his fierce anger, that we perish not?

And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.

One gracious thing you can do for yourself as you stepped into this new year is to follow this worthwhile example.

As you too, sincerely take stock of something that could have been avoided in the past year but happened, because of your unwillingness to take a firm decision to do Gods will.

As you sincerely do this, you too shall experience this unchanging gracious acts of your Father in heaven in Jesus name.

Malachi 3:6. For I am the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.

See how the scriptures affirmed the sincere attitude of the Israelites, when they determinedly sought for the mercy of God.

They got it and you too shall secure your Father’s ceaseless mercies in your journey in this new glorious year in Jesus name.

Make a firm and determined consecration to walk with God in implicit obedience in this new year and then for you, the year will turn out to be the most trouble free for you.

SEE GOD’S UNCHANGING CALL TO SINCERE PENITENCE OF ALL GENERATIONS. Thank God, this call does not exclude you.

Hosea 5:15: ¶I will go and return to my place, till they acknowledge their offence, and seek my face: in their affliction they will seek me early.

Hosea 14:1: O Israel, return unto the LORD thy God; for thou hast fallen by thine iniquity.

Isaiah 2:3: And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob;

And he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORDfrom Jerusalem.

Isaiah 55:7: Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him;

And to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

Jeremiah 3:22: Return, ye backsliding children, andI will heal your backslidings. Behold, we come unto thee; for thou art the LORD our God.

Jeremiah 50:4: ¶In those days, and in that time, saith the LORD, the children of Israel shall come, they and the children of Judah together, going and weeping: they shall go, and seek the LORD their God.

Lamentations 3:40 -41. Let us search and try our ways, and turn again to the LORD. Let us lift up our heart with ourhands unto God in the heavens.

Please make this new year a time to reconsider your ways and determinedly follow the Lord in implicit obedience.

Haggai 1:5. Now therefore thus saith the Lord of hosts; Consider your ways.

WHAT SHALL FOLLOW THIS SINCERE PENITENT RESOLVE TO FOLLOW THE LORD THIS NEW YEAR, SHALL BE ALL. ROUND BLESSINGS OF GOD, BEYOND YOUR EXPECTATIONS.

It shall be so in Jesus name.

Haggai 2:18-19. Consider now from this day and upward, from the four and twentieth day of the ninth month, even from the day that the foundation of the Lord’s temple was laid, consider it.

Is the seed yet in the barn? yea, as yet the vine, and the fig tree, and the pomegranate, and the olive tree, hath not brought forth: from this day will I bless you.

Just like the hand of our loving Father was stretched out in heaven to welcome the sincere penitent sinners.

So also is the only begotten Son of God, in the person of our Lord Jesus Christ . He has unchanging call and gracious willingness to receive back every sincere penitent person.

Praise God, that includes you in particular.

Matthew 11:28. Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

John 6:37. All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.

Several people in Bible days enjoyed this glorious acts of our Lord. It shall be your own experience too, as you plunge into it in Jesus name.

See the example of Peter apostle after his shameful prophesied denial of our Lord.

Matthew 26:69-75. Now Peter sat without in the palace: and a damsel came unto him, saying, Thou also wast with Jesus of Galilee.

But he denied before them all, saying, I know not what thou sayest. And when he was gone out into the porch, another maid saw him, and said unto them that were there,

This fellow was also with Jesus of Nazareth. And again he denied with an oath, I do not know the man.

And after a while came unto him they that stood by, and said to Peter, Surely thou also art one of them; for thy speech bewrayeth thee.

Then began he to curse and to swear, saying, I know not the man. And immediately the cock crew. And Peter remembered the word of Jesus, which said unto him.

Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice. And he went out, and wept bitterly.

Mark 16:4-7. And when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away: for it was very great.

And entering into the sepulchre, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed in a long white garment; and they were affrighted.

And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him.

But go your way, tell his disciples and Peter that he goeth before you into Galilee: there shall ye see him, as he said unto you.

The broken prodigal son

Luke 15:17-24. And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father’s have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!

I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee,

And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants. And he arose, and came to his father.

But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.

And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son.

But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet:

And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry: For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.

THIS NEW YEAR, YOU NEED TO MAKE FIRM AND UNCHANGING RESOLUTION TO FOLLOW THE LORD WHOLEHEARTEDLY WITHOUT LOOKING BACK.

YOU WILL NEED TO DEAL DECISIVELY WITH ANYTHING AND ANYONE WHO MIGHT WANT TO TAMPER WITH YOUR CONSECRATION AND COMMITMENT TO THE LORD.

Mark 10:28 Then Peter began to say unto him, Lo, we have left all, and have followed thee.

Luke 9:62. And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.

The reward of that resolution and consecration shall bring you manifold blessings now and at eternity in Jesus

Mark 10:29-30. And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you.

There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel’s.

But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.

JESUS’S GRACIOUS RECEPTION OF THE BIBLICAL PENITENCE, TAKE ADVANTAGE OF IT.

Blessed be God for bringing you in particular to the new year. It shall be a prosperous one for you in Jesus name.

However, you know that it also brings the coming of our Lord closer to you much more than before.

As you rejoice and begin to pursue your desires for the new year, determinedly resolve, never to allow anything and anyone to jeopardise your readiness for the dawning rapture.

Remain focused never to trade your eternal wellbeing on the altar of temporals like Esau traded his birthright and wept bitterly after he sought the blessings and never received it.

Hebrews 12:15-17. Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;

Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright.

For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears.

NEVER BE DISSUADED ABOUT THE UNCHANGING ATTITUDE OF THE WORLDLING AND THE CHURCHGOERS.

They shall still persist in their nonchalant attitude to the reality of the end time, that is here with us.

Job 21:14-15. Therefore they say unto God, Depart from us; for we desire not the knowledge of thy ways.

What is the Almighty, that we should serve him? and what profit should we have, if we pray unto him?

But for you, let your heart be fixed and be focused on the coming of the Lord,that can happen before the end of today.

Psalms 57:7. My heart is fixed, O God, my heart is fixed: I will sing and give praise.

Psalms 112:7. He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the Lord.

Colossians 3:1-4. If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.

Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.

When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

Keep on seeking Him, bearing in mind, that only those who seek Him wholeheartedly shall find Him.

I pray for you with all my heart, that, this year shall be for you, your year of fullness of Joy and you shall find the Lord and be part of the rapture , anytime He comes in Jesus name.

Proverbs 8:17. I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me.
