Knowing JESUS Daily Devotional | January 31, 2019 | Enrich and Sustain your relationship with Jesus reading our daily devotional – But upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions. – Obadiah 1:17

Beloved, it very unfortunate for majority of people all over the world who think saintliness makes them to be inferior to the Worldling.

On the contrary, saintliness engenders beauty and peculiar and enviable ceaseless divers blessing from a loving and faithful God, who owns heaven and earth.

Haggai 2:8 – The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the Lord of hosts.

All of the treasures of God are meant for saints of all ages, following after God faithfully and in implicit obedience. Glory to God, you are one of them. You are in no way inferior to the Worldling or those getting wealthy in crocked ways.

Proverbs 8:20-21 – I lead in the way of righteousness in the midst of the paths of judgment: That I may cause those that love me to inherit substance; and I will fill their treasures.

Beloved think of the wealth of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob , Joseph, Daniel, Mordecai, queen Esther etc..

Abraham:

Genesis 24:34-35 And he said, I am Abraham’s servant. And the Lord hath blessed my master greatly; and he is become great: and he hath given him flocks, and herds, and silver, and gold, and menservants, and maidservants, and camels, and asses.

Isaac :

Genesis 26:12-14. Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the Lord blessed him. And the man waxed great, and went forward, and grew until he became very great: For he had possession of flocks, and possession of herds, and great store of servants: and the Philistines envied him.

God is magnified and glorified in the blessings and greatness of His saints.

Psalms 35:27. Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause:

yea, let them say continually, Let the Lord be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.

No marvel, He deliberately and determinedly satisfies them abundantly with divers blessings.

Psalms 36:8. They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and thou shalt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures.

Beloved, every time you see Zion in the Bible, it refers to the dwelling place of God and the church or His people. See it.

Isaiah 8:18. Behold, I and the children whom the Lord hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the Lord of hosts, which dwelleth in mount Zion.

Zechariah 8:3: Thus saith the LORD; I am returned unto Zion, and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and Jerusalem shall be called a city of truth; and the mountain of the LORD of hosts the holy mountain.

This was the reason why Obadiah, the prophet reminded the Jews of his days and children of God of all ages, that, ceaseless and peculiar all round desirable blessings were resident in Zion. The place where God dwells and that all of these blessings were. reserved only for the saints. See it.

Beloved , saints of old enjoyed these blessings to the fullest and you shall not in anyway be denied of them.

They are your heritage as a child of God, reach out to God requesting in believing prayers for them and they shall surely be your portion in Jesus name.

Don’t forgets what you don’t ask from God, He will not give you.

Ezekiel 36:37. Thus saith the Lord God; I will yet for this be enquired of by the house of Israel, to do it for them; I will increase them with men like a flock.

James 4:2. Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.

Beloved, see all the blessing resident in Zion, where God dwells and meant only for saints of all ages and you in particular.

1. Divers physical and spiritual blessings.

Deuteronomy 7:14-15. Thou shalt be blessed above all people: there shall not be male or female barren among you, or among your cattle. And the Lord will take away from thee all sickness, and will put none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which thou knowest, upon thee; but will lay them upon all them that hate thee.

Deuteronomy 28:11-13. And the Lord shall make thee plenteous in goods, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy ground, in the land which the Lord sware unto thy fathers to give thee. The Lord shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow. And the Lord shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the Lord thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them:

Psalms 23:,1-6 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

Psalms 84:7. They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God.

Psalms 92:12-14. The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. Those that be planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing;

Psalms 132:13-16. For the Lord hath chosen Zion; he hath desired it for his habitation. This is my rest for ever: here will I dwell; for I have desired it. I will abundantly bless her provision: I will satisfy her poor with bread. I will also clothe her priests with salvation: and her saints shall shout aloud for joy.

2. Lifetime Spiritual guidance and ceaseless blessings.

Isaiah 58:11. And the Lord shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.

3. Good health.

Jeremiah 30:17. For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the Lord; because they called thee an Outcast, saying, This is Zion, whom no man seeketh after.

4. Every desired divers deliverances from satanic bond ages.

Joel 2:32: And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.

5. Eternity with God.

Isaiah 51:11. Therefore the redeemed of the Lord shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning shall flee away.

But then God has conditions for realising these blessings to His children. He is a holy God and He blesses, only holy people. Thank God, you are one. God’s lifetime blessings are hinged on living a lifestyle and lifetime of biblical holiness and righteousness. See it yourself .

Psalms 24:3-4. Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? or who shall stand in his holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.

Isaiah 35:8-10. And an highway shall be there, and a way,and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein.No lion shall be there, nor any ravenous beast shall go up thereon, it shall not be found there; but the redeemed shall walk there: And the ransomed of the Lord shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

So reach out by the grace of God to determinedly henceforth to commit yourself to living a lifestyle of scriptural holiness and access and sustain these enviable blessings, till Christ comes. It shall be so in Jesus name.

Dearly beloved, if saints in the days of old accessed and enjoyed these enviable blessings, what happens to believers redeemed with the precious blood of Jesus, living under a better covenant and better promises.

Hebrews 8:6 But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.

No wonder , believers of all ages and you in particular are referred to as peculiar people, hallelujah .

1 Peter 2:9. But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

These peculiar people enjoys lifetime ceaseless blessings that Jesus referred to as children’s bread.

Not in anyway meant or accessed to Worldling, those who He called dogs. I am persuaded you are not a dog, you can not be and you shall never be in Jesus name.

Matthew 15:26. But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children’s bread, and to cast it to dogs.

Mark 7:27. But Jesus said unto her, Let the children first be filled: for it is not meet to take the children’s bread, and to cast it unto the dogs.

See some of these inexhaustible blessings meant for believers and you in particular.

1.All round blessings: material , physical and spiritual .

3 John 1:2. Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

2. Blessings of divers desired good things and liftings.

Matthew 7:11. If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

3. Uncommon and unusual speedy answers to prayers.

John 14:12-14. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

John 15:7. If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

John 16:23-24. And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you. Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.

4. Capability to do all things through God’s strength.

Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

5. All round provision.

Philippians 4:19. But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

6. Lifetime protection and enjoyment of God’s presence.

Matthew 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

John 17:15. I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.

Hebrews 13:5. Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

7. Lifetime victory and deliverance from all forms of satanic attacks.

Mark 16:17-18. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

1 Corinthians 15:57. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Colossians 1:12-14. Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

1 John 4:4. Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

8. Eternity with Christ.

John 12:26. If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.

John 17:24. Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.

John 14:1-3. Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

However, Jesus did not fail to reveal the conditions for accessing and sustaining these lifetime peculiar blessings.

They are meant only for obedient children following Jesus in biblical holiness lifestyle. See them.

1 Peter 1:14-16 As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

Ephesians 5:25-27. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

He, is willing to provide you with sufficient grace to attain all of these. So receive the grace and enjoy to the fullest these blessings till He comes. It is done in Jesus name.

2 Corinthians 9:8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:

JESUS’S PROMISED LIFETIME PECULIAR ALL ROUND BLESSINGS FOR OBEDIENT

BELIEVERS OF ALL AGES, ESPECIALLY YOU. REACH OUT TO THEM.

Friend, blessings in Zion where God dwells are both earthly and eternal. Heaven where God, Jesus, Angels and saints lives is called mount Sion. That is the place raptured saints shall dwell for ever.

I see you living there already. So continue unperturbed in your determined preparation to be part of the dawning rapture. It shall not elude you in Jesus name.

Hebrews 12:22-24. But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.

Painfully and regrettably, the Worldling and nominal churchgoers shall not be there and shall not partake in the dawning rapture.

These are the reasons why they shall be denied. Please check up without any pretension and ensure you are not cut in these webs.

1. Their names are not written in the book of life.

Revelation 20:15. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

2. They live a lifestyle of. wilful disobedience and sin.

Revelation 21:8. But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

3. They are defiled.

Revelation 21:27. And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.

On the contrary believers like you that shall partake in the rapture live a lifestyle of righteousness, the Bible refers to as fine linen.

Revelation 19:6-9. And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth. Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.

They remained sons of God, living in. sustained biblical holiness lifestyle and continually purifies themselves with the precious blood of Jesus.

Hebrews 12:14. Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:

1 John 3:1-3. Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.

This explains why they shall be raptured and live with God eternally. This is your heritage and your portion. Go for it and meet the conditions as contained in the scriptures.

Revelation 21:3-7. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
