Knowing JESUS Daily Devotional | January 26, 2018 | Enrich and Sustain your relationship with Jesus reading our daily devotional – ACCESSING DEEP THINGS OF GOD | Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets. – Amos 3:7
Beloved, it is no secret, God shared His secrets to few privilege saints.
Always remember the heights you attain in life, is determined by your access to the secrets of God. See the categories of people that have access to His secrets.
1. Those that fear Him.
Psalms 25:14. The secret of the Lord is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant.
Psalms 25:12. What man is he that feareth the Lord? him shall he teach in the way that he shall choose.
2. The meek in spirit..
Psalms 25:9. The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way.
3. The righteous.
Proverbs 3:32. For the froward is abomination to the Lord: but his secret is with the righteous.
Beloved do you remember the patriarch Job. He was a very rich and prosperous persons.
Job 1:1-3. There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.
And there were born unto him seven sons and three daughters.
His substance also was seven thousand sheep, and three thousand camels, and five hundred yoke of oxen, and five hundred she asses, and a very great household; so that this man was the greatest of all the men of the east.
See, the secret of his uncommon greatness. He had access to the secret of God.
Job 29:4. As I was in the days of my youth, when the secret of God was upon my tabernacle;
The reason for this was very simple. He feared the Lord.
Job1:1. There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.
Beloved as you check up in both old and new testaments those for whom God shared His secrets. There were four. things, you shall discover.
1. They attained usual greatness on this side of heaven.
2. They made it to heaven and accomplished eternity with God.
3. They feared the Lord.
4. They were righteous saints.
Beloved, it is time you come into the categories of these saints. God guided them in virtually every areas of their lives, either in the works of their hands, the source of their livelihood .
The choice of spouse they had. The journeys they made in their lifetime, God made them avert falling into satanic snares. See these instances with Isaac and the king of Israel who feared God.
1. Isaac
Genesis 26:1-6. And there was a famine in the land, beside the first famine that was in the days of Abraham.
And Isaac went unto Abimelech king of the Philistines unto Gerar. And the Lord appeared unto him, and said, Go not down into Egypt; dwell in the land which I shall tell thee of:
Sojourn in this land, and I will be with thee, and will bless thee; for unto thee, and unto thy seed, I will give all these countries, and I will perform the oath which I sware unto Abraham thy father;
And I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed;
Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws. And Isaac dwelt in Gerar:
See the benefits of that decision.
Genesis 26:12-14. Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the Lord blessed him.
And the man waxed great, and went forward, and grew until he became very great:
For he had possession of flocks, and possession of herds, and great store of servants: and the Philistines envied him.
2. The God fearing king of Israel, who humbled himself before Elisha the prophet and obeyed God’s directives through him.
2 Kings 6:8-12. Then the king of Syria warred against Israel, and took counsel with his servants, saying,
In such and such a place shall be my camp. And the man of God sent unto the king of Israel, saying, Beware that thou pass not such a place;
for thither the Syrians are come down. And the king of Israel sent to the place which the man of God told him and warned him of, and saved himself there, not once nor twice.
Therefore the heart of the king of Syria was sore troubled for this thing; and he called his servants, and said unto them, Will ye not shew me which of us is for the king of Israel?
And one of his servants said, None, my lord, O king: but Elisha, the prophet that is in Israel, telleth the king of Israel the words that thou speakest in thy bedchamber.
No marvel, while the Lord inspired Amos the prophet to tell the Jews in His days, that God shared His secrets with some categories of people. Prophets and saintly people. See it.
Amos 3:7. Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.
The Bible is repleted with saints and prophets of old who attained uncommon greatness through God’s sacred secrets. They are numerous. See some of them.
Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, David, Daniel, the prophets, Joseph the husband of Mary, the mother of Jesus, Peter, Paul.
See uncommon greatness attained by Daniel, through access to God’s secret.
Daniel 2:19-23. Then was the secret revealed unto Daniel in a night vision.
Then Daniel blessed the God of heaven. Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his:
And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding:
He revealeth the deep and secret things: he knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with him.
I thank thee, and praise thee, O thou God of my fathers, who hast given me wisdom and might, and hast made known unto me now what we desired of thee: for thou hast now made known unto us the king’s matter.
See what follows, because of God’s secret.
Daniel 2:48. Then the king made Daniel a great man, and gave him many great gifts, and made him ruler over the whole province of Babylon, and chief of the governors over all the wise men of Babylon.
Beloved, you too deserve this unique privilege. It is attainable as your commit yourself to a lifestyle of biblical righteousness and holiness and the fear of God, that will make you, to always distance yourself from all things, the Bible call evil.
Job 28:28. And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.
Proverbs 8:13. The fear of the Lord is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.
Ecclesiastes 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
Receive grace to do so and attain unusual heights here and eternity with God at the end of your life. These shall be your portion and heritage in Jesus name.
Dearly beloved, one uncommon and unique privilege, followers of Jesus of all ages and that includes you, are supposed to be blessed with, is their unrestrained access to God’s secrets.
These secrets bring unusual blessings to them and provided them guidance in their journeys in life. I pray earnest for you, that, this shall be your own experience too in Jesus name.
These privileges became theirs, because they rendered implicit obedience to Jesus and He called them friends. See it yourself .
John 15:12-15. This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends;
for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.
See some of these followers and unique secrets they had access too. You must determinedly resolve this day, to render implicit obedience to Christ, henceforth till He comes.
Doing so, will open the door of His unusual secrets to you too, to attain desired liftings and partaking in the dawning rapture. It shall be so for you, in Jesus name.
1. Joseph, the husband of Mary, mother of Jesus:
Matthew 1:18-25. Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.
Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a public example, was minded to put her away privily.
But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife:
for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins.
Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife:
And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name Jesus.
Matthew 2:13-15. And when they were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word:
for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him. When he arose, he took the young child and his mother by night, and departed into Egypt:
And was there until the death of Herod: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Out of Egypt have I called my son.
2. Simeon the priest:
Luke 2:25-32. And, behold, there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon;
and the same man was just and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel: and the Holy Ghost was upon him.
And it was revealed unto him by the Holy Ghost, that he should not see death, before he had seen the Lord’s Christ.
And he came by the Spirit into the temple: and when the parents brought in the child Jesus, to do for him after the custom of the law,
Then took he him up in his arms, and blessed God, and said, Lord, now thou thy servant depart in peace, according to thy word:
For mine eyes have seen thy salvation, Which thou hast prepared before the face of all people; A light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of thy people Israel.
3. Peter:
Luke 5:5-7. And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.
And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake.
And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink.
Acts 10:9-21. On the morrow, as they went on their journey, and drew nigh unto the city, Peter went up upon the housetop to pray about the sixth hour:
And he became very hungry, and would have eaten: but while they made ready, he fell into a trance,
And saw heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending unto him, as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down to the earth:
Wherein were all manner of fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air.
And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill, and eat. But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten any thing that is common or unclean.
And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common.
This was done thrice: and the vessel was received up again into heaven.
Now while Peter doubted in himself what this vision which he had seen should mean, behold, the men which were sent from Cornelius had made enquiry for Simon’s house, and stood before the gate.
And called, and asked whether Simon, which was surnamed Peter, were lodged there. While Peter thought on the vision, the Spirit said unto him, Behold, three men seek thee.
Arise therefore, and get thee down, and go with them, doubting nothing: for I have sent them.
Then Peter went down to the men which were sent unto him from Cornelius; and said, Behold, I am he whom ye seek: what is the cause wherefore ye are come?
Paul:
Acts 16:6-10. Now when they had gone throughout Phrygia and the region of Galatia, and were forbidden of the Holy Ghost to preach the word in Asia.
After they were come to Mysia, they assayed to go into Bithynia: but the Spirit suffered them not. And they passing by Mysia came down to Troas.
And a vision appeared to Paul in the night; There stood a man of Macedonia, and prayed him, saying, Come over into Macedonia, and help us.
And after he had seen the vision, immediately we endeavoured to go into Macedonia, assuredly gathering that the Lord had called us for to preach the gospel unto them.
John the beloved:
Revelation 1:1: The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass;
and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:
Revelation 1:19: Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter;
Revelation 4:1: After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.
Dearly beloved, these Bible days followers of Christ were saved and followed Him through thick and thin, rendering prompt and implicit obedience to Him.
It was God’s grace that made them attained these heights here and hereafter. This same grace is available to you too, plug into it and enjoy, even more privileges than these believers.
2 Corinthians 9:8. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:
2 Corinthians 12:9. And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
Titus 2:11-14. For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
JESUS’S UNUSUAL BLESSINGS AND GUIDANCE , TO HIS FOLLOWERS OF ALL AGES, THROUGH ACCESS TO SECRETS OF GOD. PURSUE IT.
Friend, being part of the dawning rapture is a function of access to God’s secrets. These secrets are already provided in God’s holy writ, called the Bible.
Fortunately and unfortunately, those that will have access to it, shall be determined by. their personal decisions. See it.
Deuteronomy 29:29. The secret things belong unto the Lord our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law
See some of the revealed things.
1 Corinthians 15:51-52. Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
1 Thessalonians 4:15-18. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God:
and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air:
and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
Faithful believers like you shall be part of the rapture, because of your choice of shepherd and the congregation you presently fellowship with.
The buck stops with you. But then the question is, who is your shepherd?
A heaven focused minister , preparing their congregation for both desirable comforts on this side of heaven and readiness for the coming of the Lord ?
Luke 1:17. And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.
Acts 11:19-26. Now they which were scattered abroad upon the persecution that arose about Stephen travelled as far as Phenice, and Cyprus, and Antioch, preaching the word to none but unto the Jews only.
And some of them were men of Cyprus and Cyrene, which, when they were come to Antioch, spake unto the Grecians, preaching the Lord Jesus. And the hand of the Lord was with them:
and a great number believed, and turned unto the Lord. Then tidings of these things came unto the ears of the church which was in Jerusalem: and they sent forth Barnabas, that he should go as far as Antioch.
Who, when he came, and had seen the grace of God, was glad, and exhorted them all, that with purpose of heart they would cleave unto the Lord.
For he was a good man, and full of the Holy Ghost and of faith: and much people was added unto the Lord. Then departed Barnabas to Tarsus, for to seek Saul:
And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.
Acts 20:17-21. And from Miletus he sent to Ephesus, and called the elders of the church.
And when they were come to him, he said unto them, Ye know, from the first day that I came into Asia, after what manner I have been with you at all seasons, Serving the Lord with all humility of mind, and with many tears, and temptations, which befell me by the lying in wait of the Jews:
And how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you, but have shewed you, and have taught you publicly, and from house to house, Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.
Acts 20:26-28. Wherefore I take you to record this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men. For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God.
Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.
Or are you fellowshipping under a merchandise motivational minister, interested in their bellies and feeding their congregation with earthly gains alone.
Jeremiah 5:31. The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love to have it so: and what will ye do in the end thereof?
Jeremiah 23:21-22. I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran: I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied.
But if they had stood in my counsel, and had caused my people to hear my words, then they should have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings.
Philippians 3:17-19. Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample.
(For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:
Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)
2 Peter 2:1-3. But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.
And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.
2 Timothy 4:1-4. I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;
Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
Friend, the issue of eternity with God and partaking in the dawning rapture is a vey serious issue, that you can not afford to trivialise . Please sincerely examine yourself, which of the two categories you fall into?
2 Corinthians 13:5. Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?
Remember this, you can not afford to be presumptuous at a time like this, when the end time is here with us. and the rapture is dawning. By God’s grace, you are a very wise person. Then behave widely. See what makes you wise.
Deuteronomy 32:29. O that they were wise, that they understood this, that they would consider their latter end!
Proverbs 19:20. Hear counsel, and receive instruction, that thou mayest be wise in thy latter end.
You can not afford to trade your eternal wellbeing with transient ephemerals. May the Lord help you in particular , this time to be wise unto salvation in Jesus name.
2 Timothy 3:15. And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
