CLCBC | Knowing Jesus Daily Devotional | Joel 3:10. In the old and New Testament, this command was given let the weak say, I am strong, let the poor say I am rich because of what the Lord has done

Joel 3:10. Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruninghooks into spears: let the weak say, I am strong.

Beloved,  glory to God you are a very wise person. Please keep on behaving wise.

Proverbs 9:12. If thou be wise, thou shalt be wise for thyself: but if thou scornest, thou alone shalt bear it.

One way to show your being wise, is a good control of what comes out of your mouth at all times, in all circumstances.  This is because what becomes of you here and hereafter , has to do with what is coming out of your mouth.
Many have used their mouths to build themselves and their families and in the same token, many have destroyed themselves and families, just because of what is coming out of their mouths.  Multitude of the children of Israel died in the wilderness by the misuse of their mouths. The journey of forty days turned forty years because of what they said.

Numbers 14:28-35. Say unto them, As truly as I live, saith the Lord, as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you: Your carcases shall fall in this wilderness; and all that were numbered of you, according to your whole number, from twenty years old and upward, which have murmured against me, Doubtless ye shall not come into the land, concerning which I sware to make you dwell therein, save Caleb the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua the son of Nun. But your little ones, which ye said should be a prey, them will I bring in, and they shall know the land which ye have despised. But as for you, your carcases, they shall fall in this wilderness. And your children shall wander in the wilderness forty years, and bear your whoredoms, until your carcases be wasted in the wilderness. After the number of the days in which ye searched the land, even forty days, each day for a year, shall ye bear your iniquities, even forty years, and ye shall know my breach of promise. I the Lord have said, I will surely do it unto all this evil congregation, that are gathered together against me: in this wilderness they shall be consumed, and there they shall die.

Beloved, always remember that God relates with you according to your sayings.

Numbers 14:28.  Say unto them, As truly as I live, saith the Lord, as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you:

Proverbs 18:21. Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

Isaiah 33:24. And the inhabitant shall not say, I am sick: the people that dwell therein shall be forgiven their iniquity.

It is very important that no matter what is happening around you, let your words be in accordance to what the scriptures says.

Joshua 1:8.  This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

This simple but life determinant information was what God told Joel, the prophet to tell the Jews to always speak positively, for their own good. This information is for you too. At every point in time in all circumstances, speak positively to yourself, your family and everything about you. See it.

Joel 3:10. Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruninghooks into spears: let the weak say, I am strong

Beloved, the scriptures affirmed severally that what comes out of your mouth affects virtually everything about you, see it yourself.

Proverbs 18:20-21. A man’s belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled. Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

Proverbs 10:20-21.  The tongue of the just is as choice silver: the heart of the wicked is little worth. The lips of the righteous feed many: but fools die for want of wisdom.

Proverbs 10:31: The mouth of the just bringeth forth wisdom: but the froward tongue shall be cut out.

Proverbs 12:13-14.  The wicked is snared by the transgression of his lips: but the just shall come out of trouble. A man shall be satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth: and the recompence of a man’s hands shall be rendered unto him.

Proverbs 13:2: A man shall eat good by the fruit of his mouth: but the soul of the transgressors shall eatviolence.

Proverbs 25:11 -12. A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver. As an earring of gold, and an ornament of fine gold, so is a wise reprover upon an obedient ear.

Joshua and Caleb out of the six hundred thousand  Israelites that left Egypt got to the promise land. So it shall be that many shall loose eternity with God, just because of misuse of their mouth.

Numbers 14:6-9. And Joshua the son of Nun, and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, which were of them that searched the land, rent their clothes: And they spake unto all the company of the children of Israel, saying, The land, which we passed through to search it, is an exceeding good land. If the Lord delight in us, then he will bring us into this land, and give it us; a land which floweth with milk and honey. Only rebel not ye against the Lord, neither fear ye the people of the land; for they are bread for us: their defence is departed from them, and the Lord is with us: fear them not.

Numbers 14:30. Doubtless ye shall not come into the land, concerning which I sware to make you dwell therein, save Caleb the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua the son of Nun.

Beloved, determinedly henceforth, be cautious of whatever comes out of your mouth, no matter the height of provocations. God bless you.
Dearly beloved, no doubt you are aware that Jesus Christ your Lord is the Word personified Himself and has been with the Father from eternity past and shall also be there in the eternity future.

Proverbs 8:22-30. The Lord possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old. I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was. When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water. Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth: While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world. When he prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth: When he established the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep: When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth: Then I was by him, as one brought up with him: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him;

It was this same Jesus that said to believers of all ages and that includes you, that your eternal wellbeing is hinged on the proper usage of the words of your mouth. See it and take it to heart henceforth.

Matthew 12:36-37. But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

Not only at eternity, even now and here, according to Him, you have only what you says.

Mark 11:23. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

Finally and most importantly, you become wise now and at eternity, on your stance and attitude, to the saying of Jesus, our Lord and master.  Your right attitude to every word of God in the Bible, makes you wise. Praise God you are a wise person, so live it.

Matthew 7:24-27. Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

Romans 10:9-11 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

Hebrews 13:5-6. Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

Dearly beloved, please put  it  to heart from now on, that your wellbeing now and at eternity is tied to what you do with the word of God in the Bible, the sayings of Jesus.

Deuteronomy 4:5-6. Behold, I have taught you statutes and judgments, even as the Lord my God commanded me, that ye should do so in the land whither ye go to possess it. Keep therefore and do them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the nations, which shall hear all these statutes, and say, Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.

JESUS TAUGHT BELIEVERS OF ALL AGES, ESPECIALLY YOU, THE WISDOM BEHIND HIS SAYINGS. PUT THEM TO HEART.
Friend, God shall ensure your earnest desire to be part of the dawning rapture shall be realised in Jesus name. In the same token I earnestly pray for you, that , God’s grace shall abound in your life, to enable you give right and proper attention, to the entirety of God’s unchanging, infallible and eternal words in the Bible.

Revelation 3:10-11 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

The simple reason why multitude globally from within and outside the church shall miss the rapture is their untoward attitude towards God’s words in the Bible. This shall not be your portion in Jesus name. See it yourself.

Job 21:14-15. Therefore they say unto God, Depart from us; for we desire not the knowledge of thy ways. What is the Almighty, that we should serve him? and what profit should we have, if we pray unto him?

Jeremiah 44:16-17. As for the word that thou hast spoken unto us in the name of the Lord, we will not hearken unto thee. But we will certainly do whatsoever thing goeth forth out of our own mouth, to burn incense unto the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, as we have done, we, and our fathers, our kings, and our princes, in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem: for then had we plenty of victuals, and were well, and saw no evil.

Revelation 3:15-17. I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

Friend, see what wise believes like you shall be doing that shall enable you to be part of the rapture.  Make this your lifestyle till Jesus comes. Determinedly live by the entirety of God’s words.

Exodus 24:7. And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the audience of the people: and they said, All that the Lord hath said will we do, and be obedient.

Jeremiah 15:16. Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O Lord God of hosts.

Isaiah 33:15-17. He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes,  that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil; He shall dwell on high: his place of defence shall be the munitions of rocks: bread shall be given him; his waters shall be sure. Thine eyes shall see the king in his beauty: they shall behold the land that is very far off.

Malachi 3:16-18. Then they that feared the Lord spake often one to another: and the Lord hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him  for them that feared the Lord, and that thought upon his name. And they shall be mine, saith the Lord of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels;  and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him. Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not

1 Thessalonians 4:15-18. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words
