Beloved, no doubt there is an attribute about God that made Him outstanding. He is righteous and loves righteous associates. You must do everything to become an associate of God.

Psalms 145:17. The Lord is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works.

Psalms 11:7. For the righteous Lord loveth righteousness; his countenance doth behold the upright.

God behold and appreciate righteous acts of His saints.

Genesis 7:1. And the Lord said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation.

Genesis 15:5-6. And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be. He believed in the Lord; also he counted it to him for righteousness.

Ezekiel 14:14. Though these three men, Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, they should deliver but their own souls by their righteousness, saith the Lord God.

Beloved, you know that God’s eyes can behold all things being done by all. See His testimonies about these people. If God should testify about you, will He say that you are living a lifestyle that is not filthy rags but scriptural righteousness?

Hebrews 4:13. Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.

1. Noah:

Genesis 7:1. And the Lord said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation.

Hebrews 11:7. By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.

2. Job the patriarch.

Job 1:8. And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?

Job 2:3. And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? and still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst me against him, to destroy him without cause.

3. Samuel:

1 Samuel 12:1-4. And Samuel said unto all Israel, Behold, I have hearkened unto your voice in all that ye said unto me, and have made a king over you. Now, behold, the king walketh before you: and I am old and grayheaded; behold, my sons are with you: and I have walked before you from my childhood unto this day. Behold, here I am: witness against me before the Lord, and before his anointed: whose ox have I taken? or whose ass have I taken? or whom have I defrauded? whom have I oppressed? or of whose hand have I received any bribe to blind mine eyes therewith? and I will restore it you. And they said, Thou hast not defrauded us, nor oppressed us, neither hast thou taken ought of any man’s hand.

4. Daniel.

Daniel 1:8. But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.

Daniel 6:4-5. Then the presidents and princes sought to find occasion against Daniel concerning the kingdom; but they could find none occasion nor fault; forasmuch as he was faithful, neither was there any error or fault found in him. Then said these men, We shall not find any occasion against this Daniel, except we find it against him concerning the law of his God.

Ezekiel 14:14. Though these three men, Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, they should deliver but their own souls by their righteousness, saith the Lord God.

5. Zacharias. and Elisabeth

Luke 1:5-6. There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judaea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the course of Abia: and his wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elisabeth. And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless.

6. Paul:

1 Thessalonians 2:10. Ye are witnesses, and God also, how holily and justly and unblameably we behaved ourselves among you that believe:

7. Jesus Christ:

Hebrews 7:26. For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;

God detest hypocrisy and filthy rags, many of today’s professing believers are parading. Whenever you see Zion in the scriptures. It is referring to the church or believers. See what God says about those in the church world today. No marvel, judgement of God shall starts from Zion , the church. God detest unscriptural righteousnesses.

Isaiah 33:14. The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings?

1 Peter 4:17-18. For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?

Beloved, Jesus our Lord had wholesome knowledge about His Father’s dealings with His righteous saints and hypocrites. This made Him to teach His followers and that includes you, scriptural and acceptable biblical righteousness. See it.

Matthew 5:20. For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven..

Beloved, you will recount that, this was the righteousness that delivered Noah and his family from the flood that destroyed the whole world. This same righteousness enabled the saints of old to have access to the city God provided for them. You too must cultivate this scriptural righteousness for blessings of God here and hereafter. It shall be so for you in Jesus name.

Proverbs 11:4-6. Riches profit not in the day of wrath: but righteousness delivereth from death. The righteousness of the perfect shall direct his way: but the wicked shall fall by his own wickedness. The righteousness of the upright shall deliver them: but transgressors shall be taken in their own naughtiness.

Hebrews 11:14-16. For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country. And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned. But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.

Dearly beloved, Jesus remains the undeniable disciple’s master and Lord. Praise God you are a disciple. Then you should be like your Master in all things. As a disciple you learn from Christ alone.

John 13:13 Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am.

Matthew 10:24-25. The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord. It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household?

Matthew 11:29. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

The goal of Jesus was to ensure His disciples lives with Him in heaven. So He taught them and prayed for them. His prayer shall avail for you in particular in Jesus name. See His prayer.

John 17:24. Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.

John 12:26. If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.

See His most important teaching to His disciples and praise God you are one of them.

Matthew 5:20. For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven..

How do we know, this important teaching was directed to His disciples? See it yourself.

Matthew 5:1-2. And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him: And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying,

Dearly beloved, at this point, you need to understand the lifestyle of the scribes and Pharisees and examine yourself and be sure, you are not one of them. At this point, please sincerely examine yourself and don’t be presumptuous. See the revelations of the scriptures on these people.
1. They established their own righteousnesses and reject scriptural righteousness.

Romans 10:1-4. Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved. For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. They being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

2. They are churchy, they serve in their assemblies, they are religious but they are not disciples, they reject Him as Lord and they don’t learn from Him or follow Him.

John 9:13. They brought to the Pharisees him that aforetime was blind.

John 9:24-28. Then again called they the man that was blind, and said unto him, Give God the praise: we know that this man is a sinner. He answered and said, Whether he be a sinner or no, I know not: one thing I know, that, whereas I was blind, now I see. Then said they to him again, What did he to thee? how opened he thine eyes? He answered them, I have told you already, and ye did not hear: wherefore would ye hear it again? will ye also be his disciples? Then they reviled him, and said, Thou art his disciple; but we are Moses’ disciples.

3. Jesus taught His disciples to do and teach the entirety of God’s words. These people teach members of their families and those in their world of influence right things, but they don’t do what they are teaching.. They teach their congregations what they themselves don’t do.

Matthew 23:1-3. Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples, Saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat: All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.

4. These group of people live lifestyle that will hinder them from living with God eternally and also encourage others to do same.

Matthew 23:13. But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.

Romans 1:32. Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

5. These group of people are hypocrites. They are John inside the church but Judas outside the church. They are Janet inside the church but are Jezebel outside the church.

Matthew 23:14. Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows’ houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation.

6. These group of people through their conduct turn others from part of righteousness to licentious lifestyle.

Matthew 23:15. Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.

7. These group of people can do anything in the service in their assemblies. But will never obey the word of God, through which they can be saved and qualify for eternal life.

Matthew 23:23. Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.

1 Samuel 15:22-23. And Samuel said, Hath the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the Lord, he hath also rejected thee from being king.

8. These group of people’s lifestyle contradicts their profession of faith. They behave like Christians in the church, but like the unbelievers outside the church.

Matthew 23:25-28 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess. Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also. Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men’s bones, and of all uncleanness. Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.

Dearly beloved as you look at the biblical description of the scribes and Pharisees and the disciples, where do you fall into? Are you depending on your filthy rags righteousness or the lifestyle Jesus lived, that a disciple must follow ? Jesus Christ our Lord is the righteous one.,

1 John 2:1. My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

Through His shameful and painful vicarious sacrifice, He gave you imputed righteousness and also taught and lived a lifestyle of imparted righteousness that shall qualify you for heaven. Have you embraced these righteousnesses and living the same lifestyle?
Imputed righteousness of Christ for you.

2 Corinthians 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

Imparted righteousness He lived and taught.

John 17:19. And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.

Hebrews 1:8-9. But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

Acts 1:1. The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach,

Dearly beloved , won’t you at this point examine yourself? Are you a disciple or Pharisee? May the Lord help you to be wise into salvation in Jesus name.

2 Corinthians 13:5. Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

JESUS CHRIST DURING HIS MINISTRY, LIVED AND TAUGHT SCRIPTURAL RIGHTEOUSNESS. DO LIKEWISE.
Friend, certainly the rapture is dawning. I rejoice because your mind is set to be part and the good Lord shall help you and grant your earnest expectations in Jesus name. But make sure you are not living the lifestyle of the scribes and Pharisees. Also make sure you are not depending on their filthy rags righteousness, you are depending on righteousness after the order of Christ. This is because no unrighteous person shall enter heaven or be part of this looming event.

Revelation 21:27. And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.

Revelation 22:15. For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

Matthew 5:20. For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven..

But then see the scriptural righteousness that shall guarantee your partaking in the rapture. God’s grace is sufficient to enable you do them. Receive the grace in Jesus name.

2 Corinthians 9:8. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:

See how the scriptures describes the righteousness expected from Christ’s disciples for which you are one.
1. righteousness that makes you hate iniquity like Christ.

Hebrews 1:8-9. But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

2 Timothy 2:19. Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

1 Corinthians 6:9-10. Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

2. righteousness that makes you deny ungodliness and worldly lusts.

Titus 2:11-12. For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

3. righteousness that makes you live a lifestyle of a saint or believer

Isaiah 33:15-17. He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil; That man shall dwell on high: his place of defence shall be the munitions of rocks: bread shall be given him; his waters shall be sure. Thine eyes shall see the king in his beauty: they shall behold the land that is very far off.

4. righteousness that makes you to be Christlike in all things.

1 John 2:1. My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

5. righteousness that makes you not to depend on yourself and your filthy rags and pride.

Luke 18:9-14. And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others: Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican. The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican. I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess. And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner. I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

Isaiah 64:6. But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

Remember, your righteousness must exceed that of the scribes and Pharisees. The Lord shall help you in Jesus name.
