Branches can only bear fruits in the vine, so also believers can not glorify the Father through fruitful lives unless they abide in Jesus Christ

Ezekiel 34:23-24. And I will set up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, even my servant David; he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd. And I the Lord will be their God, and my servant David a prince among them; I the Lord have spoken it.

Beloved, from eternity past to eternity future, your loving Father has an unchanging concern. See it. Matthew 9:36. But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.

Beloved do you know that one of the gracious office of your Father in heaven, is shepherding His children. Glory to God, you are one of them. Psalms 80:1. Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, thou that leadest Joseph like a flock; thou that dwellest between the cherubims, shine forth. Isaiah 40:11: He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young.

He does this from time immemorial by appointing suitable and appropriate pastors or shepherd over His people. Jeremiah 3:15. And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding. Jeremiah 23:4: And I will set up shepherds over them which shall feed them: and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, neither shall they be lacking, saith the LORD.

BUT, I DO NOT WANT YOU TO EVER FORGET THIS. HE APPOINTS SHEPHERDS OVER HIS PEOPLE, ACCORDING TO THE STATE OF THEIR HEARTS.

Your present pastor and shepherd is a reflection of the state of your heart. 1 Samuel 16:7. But the Lord said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart. Jeremiah 17:9-10. The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? I the Lord search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.

2 Thessalonians 2:10-12. And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Friends, align your heart to be in agreement with the perfect will of God and He will appoint you a shepherd after His heart.

Once this is done, you begin to enjoy the entirety of earthly and eternal blessings of having God being your own shepherd, all through your life. This shall surely be your portion in Jesus name.

Psalms 23:1-6. The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

Loved Ones, Jesus your Lord at the end of time shall preside over the entire humanity of all ages and decide their eternal estate.

Matthew 25:31-33. When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

The eternal well being of believers of all ages and you in particular shall hinge on whether, you have been His sheep. John 10:27-28. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. On this side of heaven, see the exalted office of Jesus as Shepherd over His own heritage. John 10:11: I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.

John 10:14. I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine. Hebrews 13:20: Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, 1 Peter 2:25: For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls. 1 Peter 5:4: And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.

From time immemorial, the sheep that benefits from Jesus on this side of heaven, are the ones that abide in Him. Pause and examine yourself now, are you abiding in Christ?

John 15:1-7. I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

IF YOU HAVE BEEN ABIDING IN CHRIST, HOLD FAST TO IT, TILL HE COMES. BUT IF NOT, RECEIVE GRACE TO BEGIN TO DO SO FROM NOW ON. JESUS CHRIST, THE SHEPHERD OF BELIEVERS OF ALL AGES AND YOU IN PARTICULAR, ABIDE IN HIM.

Friend, there shall be great surprises when the dawning rapture shall take place. Some people inside and outside of the church shall not be part of it. Why? BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT PART OF THE SHEEP OF JESUS . Glory to God you are one of His sheep. Do everything to sustain the relationship. See what the Bible says about those that shall missed this great event. John 10:26. But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.

John 3:18-20. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. It is very simple to know a bonafide sheep of Christ.

They are the ones that shall meet Him in the air after the rapture. The singular attribute of their lives is that, they followed Jesus, everywhere and every time , through thick and thin.

Revelation 14:4-5. These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the first fruits unto God and to the Lamb. And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.

While others are at war with Jesus. They are worshipping Him. Why others are fighting against Him, they are wholeheartedly following after Him faithfully. Receive grace to be doing these till He comes. Revelation 17:14. These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.
