Beloved their is something about you that makes you enviable. You are a very wise person. And their is just one singular thing that reveals your unusual wisdom. It is your thoughtfulness of eternity in all your doings. Hallelujah.
Deuteronomy 32:29 O that they were wise, that they understood this, that they would consider their latter end!
It is pitiful today that majority of the nominal churchgoers in the universal church of Christ globally, just live their lives without a recourse to the eternal consequences of their actions..
Psa 10:4 The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God:God is not in all his thoughts.
King Asa and his fight against Idol Worship | He removed Maachah his mother from being queen, because she had made an idol in a grove – 2 Chronicles 15:16
Beloved, I am persuaded that you don’t fall into these categories of people. Pause and sincerely examine yourself without presumption, do you think you are also cut in this web? If you are not, praise God. But if you are, quickly visit Calvary and be set free. This is because tomorrow might be too late.
2 Corinthians 6:2. (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)
Jesus Christ our Lord, taught His followers of all ages and you in particular, one very important, eternity defining lesson. It is to always be decisive to remove anything, irrespective of it’s gains or profitability, that threatens your eternal well-being. See it yourself.
Mar 9:43 — Mar 9:48 And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire: Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.
King Asa and his fight against Idol Worship | He removed Maachah his mother from being queen, because she had made an idol in a grove – 2 Chronicles 15:16
This was what king Asa did. He was determined to live to please God. But very very unfortunately, his own mother, chose to be an idol worshipper. So he removed her from being queen. See it.
2 Chronicles 15:16 And also concerning Maachah the mother of Asa the king, he removed her from being queen, because she had made an idol in a grove: and Asa cut down her idol, and stamped it, and burnt it at the brook Kidron.
This unique attribute is one of the traits of believers like you, who places, requisite premium on their eternal well-being. See what the scriptures says must characterise the lifetime, lifestyle of such brethren.
1. Not unequally yoked with unbelievers and cleansing from all unholy things.
2Co 6:14 — 2Co 7:1 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

2. Placing great premium on eternal things as a lifestyle.
Col 3:1 — Col 3:4 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.
3. Separating from false ministers
Rom 16:17 — Rom 16:18 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.
Eph 5:10 — Eph 5:12 Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.

4. Contending for and living by the total truth in the Bible
Jude 1:3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
Rev 3:10 — Rev 3:11 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
5. Enduring to the end.
Revelation 2:10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.
No doubt you have being doing all these. So continue till Christ comes.
Heb 6:11 And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end:
