Beloved, from time immemorial, God and men abhorred the name, Jezebel.

Either in the old or new testaments, God pronounced severe punishment on her, because of her licentious lifestyle. See it yourself.

2 Kings 9:30 And when Jehu was come to Jezreel, Jezebel heard of it; and she painted her face, and tired her head, and looked out at a window.

2Ki 9:36 — 2Ki 9:37 Wherefore they came again, and told him. And he said, This is the word of the Lord, which he spake by his servant Elijah the Tishbite, saying, In the portion of Jezreel shall dogs eat the flesh of Jezebel: And the carcase of Jezebel shall be as dung upon the face of the field in the portion of Jezreel; so that they shall not say, This is Jezebel.

Revelation 2:20-23 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not. Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. But then it is very unfortunate today, that even though, people inside or outside the church abhorred her name, however, they embraced her immoral and licentious lifestyle.

The Bible is repleted with several warnings on the appropriate use of your body , which is the temple of God.

1Co 6:19 — 1Co 6:20 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.

Beloved, be obedient to these warnings and avoid suffering the same consequences of Jezebel’s lewd behavior.
