Deu 18:18 — Deu 18:19 I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.

Beloved the Bible from the books of Genesis to Revealetions, reveals the person and the ministry of our Lord Jesus Christ.

He Himself during His earthly ministry challenged the unbeliving Jews to search the scriptures and they shall discover Him.

John 5:39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.

The book of Deuteronomy in particular reveals that Jesus Christ, our Lord was the Prophet like unto Moses.. The Prophet with the capital P, that distinguished Him from every other prophets. See it.

Deuteronomy 18:15 The Lord thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken;

God will raise up a Prophet [ JESUS CHRIST ] of thy brethren, like unto me [ MOSES ]; unto him ye shall hearken [ HEAR YE HIM ] – Deuteronomy 18:15

However, this revealatiom also gave an addendum that, our Lord’s coming was to reveal the mind of Jehovah.

His words would supercede and be the finality of the mind of God.

All humanity are under compulsion to harken to the entirety of His words or face the eternal consequences of doing otherwise.

This is affirmed severally in the scriptures. See some of them.

Act 3:20 — Act 3:23 And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you: Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began. For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you. And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.

Acts 7:37 This is that Moses, which said unto the children of Israel, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear.

Mat 17:1 — Mat 17:5 And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart, And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light. And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him. Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias. While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.

Hebrews 1:2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

Heb 2:1 — Heb 2:3 Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip. For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward; How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;

Believers and you in particular are enjoined to hear and do all His words to be wise.

Mat 7:24 — Mat 7:27 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

Beloved see some of the words of our Lord with eternal consequences for anyone and everyone, who failed to Harlem.

I am persuaded that you are a very wise person and according to the scriptures, you are going to harken to His words and be blessed here and hereafter. It shall be so in Jesus name.

Exodus 24:7 And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the audience of the people: and they said, All that the Lord hath said will we do, and be obedient.

1. The necessity of the new birth.

John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Jn 3:5 — Jn 3:7 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

2. The importance of purity of heart and sanctification of believers to access Heaven.

Matthew 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

John 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

3. Repentance and empowerment with the Holy Spirit.

Luk 24:46 — Luk 24:50 And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. And ye are witnesses of these things. And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high. And he led them out as far as to Bethany, and he lifted up his hands, and blessed them.

4. The narrow and the broad road.

Mat 7:13 — Mat 7:14 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

5. The certainity of the two eternal ends.

Matthew 25:46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

6. Believers and you in particular, should fear God and avoid hell.

Luke 12:5 But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.

7. The reality of hell and your personal responsibility to avoid it.

Mar 9:43 — Mar 9:48 And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire: Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.

8. Heaven the eternal home of the righteous and you in particular.

Matthew 13:43 Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

9. Believers and you in particular, should live in readiness for the dawning rapture.

Jn 14:1 — Jn 14:3 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

10. Believers and you in particular, must engage in seeking and saving the lost, till He comes. Believers should preach the gospel for sinners to be saved.

Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

Matthew 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

Luke 19:10 For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.

Luk 19:12 — Luk 19:13 He said therefore, A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return. And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come.

11. Believers and you in particular, are different from the world.

Jn 17:14 — Jn 17:16. I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

12. Believers and you in particular, must live a lifestyle of fervent prayers.

Luke 18:1 And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;

13. Monogamy in marriage compulstory not optional.

Mat 19:3 — Mat 19:9 The Pharisees also came unto him, tempting him, and saying unto him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause? And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. They say unto him, Why did Moses then command to give a writing of divorcement, and to put her away? He saith unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so. And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.

14. Ministers and you in particular, should teach His entire words.

Matthew 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

15. Heaven and earth shall pass away but His words shall not pass away.

Matthew 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

Beloved , because of the fact that the words of our Lord shall not pass away, believers and you in particular are warned about the eternal consequences of not harkening or obeying the entirety of the words of Jesus..

Jn 12:46 — Jn 12:48 I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness. And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day

2Th 1:7 — 2Th 1:9 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;

Heb 10:26 — Heb 10:31 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. He that despised Moses’ law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace? For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God

However, for faithful believers and you, who are passionate about living eternally with Jesus in heaven, you are enjoined to obey the totality of the words of Jesus.

Hebrews 5:9 And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him

Hebrews 12:25 See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven:

Rev 3:10 — Rev 3:11 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

Receive grace to be doer of His words and live eternally with Him in Jesus name.
