Dearly beloved, we give glory to God for all the saints of God put together in both old and new testaments in the Bible.
All glory goes to God for the saintliness and exemplary lifestyle, they left for us.
As you think of saints like Abraham, Moses, Peter, Paul, all of them lived saintly lifestyle worthy of emulation, but then, you can not all together, learn from them.

This is because doing so will make you, to replicate their in adequacies too. See all these.
1. Abraham, severally lied and that extended to Isaac and Jacob.
Gen 12:11 — Gen 12:13 And it came to pass, when he was come near to enter into Egypt, that he said unto Sarai his wife, Behold now, I know that thou art a fair woman to look upon: Therefore it shall come to pass, when the Egyptians shall see thee, that they shall say, This is his wife: and they will kill me, but they will save thee alive. Say, I pray thee, thou art my sister: that it may be well with me for thy sake; and my soul shall live because of thee.
Gen 20:1 — Gen 20:2 And Abraham journeyed from thence toward the south country, and dwelled between Kadesh and Shur, and sojourned in Gerar. And Abraham said of Sarah his wife, She is my sister: and Abimelech king of Gerar sent, and took Sarah.
2. Moses got angry and was denied the promised Land.
Num 20:7 — Num 20:12 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Take the rod, and gather thou the assembly together, thou, and Aaron thy brother, and speak ye unto the rock before their eyes; and it shall give forth his water, and thou shalt bring forth to them water out of the rock: so thou shalt give the congregation and their beasts drink. And Moses took the rod from before the LORD, as he commanded him. And Moses and Aaron gathered the congregation together before the rock, and he said unto them, Hear now, ye rebels; must we fetch you water out of this rock? And Moses lifted up his hand, and with his rod he smote the rock twice: and the water came out abundantly, and the congregation drank, and their beasts also. And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron, Because ye believed me not, to sanctify me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore ye shall not bring this congregation into the land which I have given them.
3 Peter denied the Lord three times.
Mat 26:69 — Mat 26:74 Now Peter sat without in the palace: and a damsel came unto him, saying, Thou also wast with Jesus of Galilee. But he denied before them all, saying, I know not what thou sayest. And when he was gone out into the porch, another maid saw him, and said unto them that were there, This fellow was also with Jesus of Nazareth. And again he denied with an oath, I do not know the man. And after a while came unto him they that stood by, and said to Peter, Surely thou also art one of them; for thy speech bewrayeth thee. Then began he to curse and to swear, saying, I know not the man. And immediately the cock crew.

4. Paul had tendency for pride and was humbled by our Lord.
2Co 12:7 — 2Co 12:9 And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure. For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
Beloved brethren, even though we thank God for these brethren, you can not wholly learn from them.
But then, the one singular person you can learn from through and through without faulting , is our Lord Jesus Christ. That was why the scriptures says over and over to learn from Him.
Matthew 11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
John 13:15 For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you.
1 Peter 2:21 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:

Our Lord Jesus Christ was conscious of this, so He determindly lived exeplanry lifestyle at all times .
He lived faultless lifestyle all through His earthly ministry.
John 17:19 And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.
You will recount that He said the scriptures in their entirety from the book of Genesis to Revelation, testify of Him
John 5:39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.

This Bible passage below in the book of Psalm was a prophecy about our Lord Jesus Christ.
Psalms 31:5 Into thine hand I commit my spirit: thou hast redeemed me, O LORD God of truth.
See it’s fulfilment, during the crucifixion of our Lord on the cross, before He gave up the ghost.
Luke 23:46 And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost.
This was another milestone of lesson to believers of all ages and you in particular.
Even in death our Lord had enough confidence in His Father in heaven, to keep Him and raise Him up again the third day.
What He did, you must do also. That in all things, whatever is happening to you or members of your family, you must handover everything to God.
Remember, He is too faithfil and can never fail you. God alone at all times, must be your confidence.
Proverbs 3:26 For the LORD shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken.

5. He is too faithful, He can not fail you.
1 Peter 4:19 Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.
No wonder see saints of old that commited their all to God in all situations like our Lord and they were not put to shame.
1. Stephen while dying.
Acts 7:59 And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.
2. Paul apostle while facing persecution in his ministry. And when he was in life threaten storm for fourteen days.

Acts 27:25 Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me.
3. Job while in life threaten challenges.

and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth: And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God:
4. The three Hebrews, threatened to be thrown into the fire.
Dan 3:16 — Dan 3:18 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter. If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.
5. Abraham when he was tested to sacrifice Isaac.
Gen 22:7 — Gen 22:8 And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt offering? And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together.
6. Widow of Zarephat gave Elijah out of her last meal.
1Ki 17:14 — 1Ki 17:16 For thus saith the LORD God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the LORD sendeth rain upon the earth. And she went and did according to the saying of Elijah: and she, and he, and her house, did eat many days. And the barrel of meal wasted not, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake by Elijah.

7 . Moses he rejected the throne of Egypt and opted to partner with the invisible.
Heb 11:24 — Heb 11:27 By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter; Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward. By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible.
8. The patriarchs Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, during their earthly pilgrimage.
Heb 11:14 — Heb 11:16 For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country. And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned. But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.
Beloved, what are you presently going through? Commit the case to the hands of God as Jesus commited His soul into the hands of His Father.
God raised up Jesus the third day as He promised Him. He will bring you too, out of this challenge, as He promised you.

for I am God, and there is none else.
