Enrich and Sustain your relationship with Jesus reading our daily devotional – James 1:2-4 Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.
Beloved, from the outset human beings the crown of the creation of God were created to have His nature and attributes.
Genesis 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
God has so many gracious attributes that He wants reproduced in the lives of all His children. Praise God by the reason of your biblical redemption you have become a bonafide child of God. Hallelujah.
Some of these gracious attributes are holiness, long-suffering, patience, perfection etc.
Exo 34:6 And the Lord passed by before him, and proclaimed, The Lord, The Lord God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth,
Psa 86:15 But thou, O Lord, art a God full of compassion, and gracious,longsuffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth.
Matthew 5:48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
Rom 15:5 Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus:.
These attributes of God are summed up as the fruit of the Spirit.
Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
Very very unfortunate, when Adam fell all these attributes and nature were lost completely. However, God is not giving up He wants all of them reproduced in all His children and you in particular.
No marvel He painstakingly purposed to ensure they are reproduced.
Isa 14:26 – This is the purpose that is purposed upon the whole earth: and this is the hand that is stretched out upon all the nations. For the Lord of hosts hath purposed, and who shall disannul it? and his hand is stretched out, and who shall turn it back?
This becomes necessary for His children and you in particular to culminate your sojourn on earth, living with Him eternally. See the multitude that shall live with Him eternally.
Praise God you are one of them.
Rev 21:3-5 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
Beloved this explains why God must subject you to some challenging circumstances to reproduce His nature and attribute in you to guarantee your email well-being.
See the typical nature of all human beings including you after the fall.
1. ALL OF SELF , NONE OF GOD
But then you come to the next stage after your biblical redemption by His grace.
2. SOME OF SELF AND SOME OF GOD.
Unfortunately, this pitiable situation will deny anyone and everyone from living eternally with God. So He began the arduous work of making you to become like Him.
3. NONE OF SELF AND ALL OF GOD.
This third estate is what patience will achieve, when it is perfected. See it.
Beloved to help you discover whether this has happened in your life. Three things must be happening.
1. God’s nature and attributes must increase in you to the fullest while self must decrease to Zero.
John 3:30 He must increase, but I must decrease
Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me
2. You get to a point where you thank God and rejoice for every situation, it pleases Him to put you.
1 Thessalonians 5:18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
2Co 12:7-10 And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure. For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.
3. The entirety of your decisions are taking from the perspective of eternity, till you see Jesus.
Col 3:1-4 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.
Now that you have discover these three things, cooperate with God to accomplish them through His grace for your eternal well-being to be guaranteed. The good Lord shall help you in particular in Jesus name.
Dearly beloved, Jesus our Lord when He came during His earthly ministry had the entire nature and attributes of God in Him. No wonder His lifestyle were characterised and described as follows. He lived by all that He said.
John 4:34 Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.
John 6:38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.
Jns 8:28-9 Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things. And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him.
John 9:4 I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.
John 17:4 I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.
Luk 22:41-42 And he was withdrawn from them about a stone’s cast, and kneeled down, and prayed, Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.
Phi 2:5-8 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
Hebrews 7:26 For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;
1Pe 2:21-23 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth: Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously:
Dearly beloved, you will discover that our Lord did all of these naturally without being compelled.
He lived this exemplary lifestyle as an example for all believers to reproduce.
Jn 13:15-17 For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you. Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him. If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them.
Luke 6:40 The disciple is not above his master: but every one that is perfect shall be as his master.
Dearly beloved be very sincere. Can you be said to be like the master as seen in all the scriptures above?
This is what patience is to accomplish in your life. This is the reason why you should count all your test of faith with joy and willingly submit to God like Jesus.
It is only when you be like Him, that you become a disciple in deed and shall be able to live with Him eternally. This is the reason why He must increase. Christlikeness and self , the adamic nature must reduce to Zero in you.
John 3:30 He must increase, but I must decrease
Romans 6:6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
Jam 1:2-4 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
Like Paul begin to pursue the high calling of becoming more and more like Christ. Where you have missed it already, make necessary corrections and restitutions.
Please make sure that your divorced marriage is restored ,if in deed you will see Jesus in rapture or glory.
The good Lord shall help you in Jesus name.
Phi 3:14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
Friend, the dawning rapture shall become delusion for many churchgoers because of their negligence in allowing patience to have it’s full course in them and be perfected. This shall not be your portion in Jesus name.
Friend this is what you discover in the global church world today. Please make sure, you are unlike this.
Rev 2:2-5 I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars: And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name’s sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted. Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.
Do you still have your first love ? Our Lord Jesus asked Peter whether he loves Him, more than fishing? Do you too love Jesus?
John 21:15 So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs.
Do you love Jesus? Prove it.
John 14:21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
Jn 14:23-24 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father’s which sent me.
You really seek God first again, compromise, secret sin , unequal yoke, worldliness, coldness and letargy have now characterise your life. So where is your first love for Jesus?
Hos 4:17 Ephraim is joined to idols:let him alone.
Rev 3:15-18 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.
Friend, don’t you see that, this days, you struggle with God before you obey simple instructions. You get angry with God because of His test of faith in your life. You have no readiness to obey the entirety of God’s eternal and infallible words again. You choose what you obey now.
Rev 3:10-11 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
Please let patience have it’s way and you shall be ready for the dawning rapture in Jesus name.
