Philippians 4:3 – The question is when is a believers name written in or when can a name be erased from the book of life.
Beloved, saintliness, godliness , righteousness are virtues that. affects your life’s wellness here and hereafter. It is the desire of God your loving Father to have the names of His saints and your own in particular, to be written and retained in the book of life.
A lot of people both in the time past and even in our contemporary times are not bothered about their conducts. This is because they failed to realise that every action done by anyone and everyone contributes to their names either written or removed from the book of life.
Some people in Bible days have their names written in the book of God after their redemption. But because of their inconsistent lifestyle, the names were removed again. Before the children of Israel left Egypt.
They were redeemed by the slain lamb without blemish and had their names written in God’s book. Pause a little here. Have you too being redeemed with the precious blood of Jesus? Because only on account of this can you have your name written in the book of life.
If you are sure, praise God. If you are not, then do something about it immediately. Suspended everything and do it now, it is the most needful thing.
Exodus 15:13. Thou in thy mercy hast led forth the people which thou hast redeemed: thou hast guided them in thy strength unto thy holy habitation.
1 Peter 1:18-19. Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
However, the vast majority of them have their names blotted out God’s book , on account of stubbornness, rebellion, idolatry etc. Pause here too. It might be that your name have been written in the book of life on account of your redemption. There is nothing like eternal security.
Once saved and forever saved. Should you go back like lot’s wife, or Judas, the name will be removed from the book of life. I earnestly pray for you in particular, that your own name shall not be removed from the book of life in Jesus name. See what the Bible says.
Exodus 32:32-33. Yet now, if thou wilt forgive their sin—; and if not, blot me, I pray thee, out of thy book which thou hast written. And the Lord said unto Moses, Whosoever hath sinned against me, him will I blot out of my book.
See how the scriptures affirmed that, names could be blooded out of book of life.
Psalms 109:13-14. Let his posterity be cut off; and in the generation following let their name be blotted out. Let the iniquity of his fathers be remembered with the LORD; and let not the sin of his mother be blotted out.
Psalms 69:28: Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, and not be written with the righteous.
Ezekiel 13:9: And mine hand shall be upon the prophets that see vanity, and that divine lies: they shall not be in the assembly of my people, neither shall they be written in the writing of the house of Israel, neither shall they enter into the land of Israel; and ye shall know that I am the Lord GOD.
Beloved, strive and endeavour that your own name is written and retained in the book of God, because that is the only guarantee for your eternal well being. We shall not be looking for you in heaven in Jesus name. Everyone whose names are removed from the book of God, shall end up in hell. This. shall never ever be your portion in Jesus name. So don’t toy with sin. Don’t backslide.
Daniel 12:1-2. And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book. And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.
Philippians 4:3. And I intreat thee also, true yokefellow, help those women which laboured with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and with other my fellowlabourers, whose names are in the book of life.
Psalms 56:8: Thou tellest my wanderings: put thou my tears into thy bottle: are they not in thy book?
Isaiah 4:3: And it shall come to pass, that he that isleft in Zion, and he that remaineth in Jerusalem, shall be called holy, even every one that is written among the living in Jerusalem:
Receive grace to keep your name in the book of God till Jesus comes.
Dearly beloved, there is a cankerworm that is eaten deep into the fabrics of those who profess religion globally. It is their nonchalant attitude to the most important exhortation of our Lord Jesus Christ to His faithful believers in the Bible days and by extension believers of today and that includes you. See the all important exhortation.
Luke 10:17-20. And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name. And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.
Why would multitude who knew our most gracious and loving Lord, be cast into hell, like the heathen and the Worldling? The simple answer is their deliberate neglect and nonchalant behaviour to this all important exhortation above. See the repercussion of this neglect.
Matthew 7:21-23. Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
Dearly beloved, this shall not be your portion in Jesus name. But don’t rely solely on what you are doing for Jesus, but alongside with this, be obedient unto Him in all things. The good Lord shall help you in Jesus name.
This all important exhortation was what informed the blessed Holy Spirit to inspire apostle Paul, to impress it in the minds of believers of all ages, especially you, of the importance of having your name written and retained in the book of life. See it.

See how other scriptures affirmed the importance of having your name written and retained in the book of life.
Revelation 3:5. He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
Revelation 21:27. And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.
Daniel 12:1. And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
Always remember this, all manner of sin, disobedience or sliding back or compromise shall remove anyone and everyone’s name from the book of life. Such people shall even miss the rapture and if they make a mistake of receiving the mark of the antichrist. They are doomed. This shall not be your portion in Jesus name.
Revelation 13:8: And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
Revelation 20:12: And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
Revelation 17:8: The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.
Revelation 20:15: And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
Revelation 22:18-19. For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

May the good Lord help you in particular in Jesus name.
Friend, I am persuaded of you that, you are determined to give it what it takes to be a part of the dawning rapture. God shall grant your earnest request. It shall not elude you in Jesus name. But then, you must validate your resolve by one non negotiable lifestyle.
You must ensure you do not engage in anything and everything that can lead to your name being removed or blotted out of the book of life. No doubt you have been redeemed with the precious blood of Jesus. Because this is the only thing, that can qualify you to have your name written in the book of life.
By now, you should be so confident without any iota of doubt that, your own name in particular is written in the book of life. But please if you are not very sure. Then reach out to Calvary where the precious blood is still flowing ceaselessly and asked the gracious and willing Lord, to redeem your precious soul.

Your name written in the book of life is the major requisite for you to partake and be ready for the imminent rapture. Anyone and everyone whose names are not written in the book of life are disqualified and shall not be ready when this all important event takes place. So give attention to the following things.
The first are the things that can make somebody’s name to be blotted out or removed from the book of life. This shall not be your portion in Jesus name. See them.
1. Anyone who sinned, engage in compromise or backslide after been saved.
Exodus 32:33. And the Lord said unto Moses, Whosoever hath sinned against me, him will I blot out of my book.
2. Everyone that takes the mark of the antichrist, after missing the rapture.
Revelation 13:8: And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
Revelation 17:8: The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.
3. Everyone that died without given their lives to Christ or having their names retained in the book of life.
Revelation 20:12: And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those thin
4. The minister not teaching the entirety of the Bible and the congregations that do not believe the entire words in the Bible.
Revelation 22:18-19. For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
5. Anyone whose names are not written or retained in the book of life on account of living contrary to God’s ways.
Revelation 20:15: And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
The second thing i are the things you should engage in doing to ensure your own name is retained and written in the book of life.
1.Saints that lived righteously till death.
Daniel 12:1. And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
2. Followers of Christ who are not just rejoicing in what the name of Christ can do for them, but are obedient to Him in all things.
Luke 10:20. Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.
3. The believers that overcame sins , self and the worldly affiliations and practices.
Revelation 3:5. He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
4. The ministers and congregations that believe and live by the entirety of the Bible.
1 Timothy 4:16. Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.
May the good Lord help you to be careful in your lifestyle and avoid anything and anyone who can make your name to be removed from the book of life.
