{"id":18554,"date":"2026-08-02T16:57:36","date_gmt":"2026-08-02T15:57:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/clcbconline.com\/?p=18554"},"modified":"2026-08-02T16:57:37","modified_gmt":"2026-08-02T15:57:37","slug":"18554","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/clcbconline.com\/index.php\/2026\/08\/02\/18554\/","title":{"rendered":""},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Stopping the devil from doing evil is part of your ministry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Acts&nbsp; 13:6 And when they had gone through the isle unto Paphos, they found a certain sorcerer, a false prophet, a Jew, whose name was Barjesus:&nbsp; 13:7 Which was with the deputy of the country, Sergius Paulus, a prudent man; who called for Barnabas and Saul, and desired to hear the word of God.&nbsp; 13:8 But Elymas the sorcerer (for so is his name by interpretation) withstood them, seeking to turn away the deputy from the faith.&nbsp; 13:9 Then Saul, (who also is called Paul,) filled with the Holy Ghost, set his eyes on him,&nbsp; 13:10 And said, O full of all subtilty and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord?&nbsp; 13:11 And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon thee, and thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season. And immediately there fell on him a mist and a darkness; and he went about seeking some to lead him by the hand.&nbsp; 13:12 Then the deputy, when he saw what was done, believed, being astonished at the doctrine of the Lord.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The devil because of his tireless plot to hinder the salvation of humanity will continue to hinder the propagation of the gospel through which they can be saved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Paul and Barnabas experienced this on their missionary journey and stopped it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You must always do same, never ever folded your hands and allow the devil to continue to hinder the salvation of humanity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Christ Jesus our Master and Lord gave all Bible believing believers authority to resist the devil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mark&nbsp; 16:17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;&nbsp; 16:18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.&nbsp; 16:19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.&nbsp; 16:20 And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Luke&nbsp; 10:19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.&nbsp; 10:20 Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Holy Spirit wants Bible believing believers to withstand the devil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ephesians&nbsp; 6:13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.&nbsp; 6:14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;&nbsp; 6:15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;&nbsp; 6:16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.&nbsp; 6:17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:&nbsp; 6:18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1 Peter&nbsp; 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:&nbsp; 5:9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Holy Spirit wants Believers to brake the yokes of the devil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Isaiah&nbsp; 10:27 And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, to do this effortlessly, you must be submitting to God in all things and giving to fasting and prayer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>James&nbsp; 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2 Corinthians&nbsp; 6:4 But in all things approving ourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses,&nbsp; 6:5 In stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labours, in watchings, in fastings;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2 Corinthians&nbsp; 11:23 Are they ministers of Christ? (I speak as a fool) I am more; in labours more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequent, in deaths oft.&nbsp; 11:27 In weariness and painfulness, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Their is a price to pay to advance Christ&#8217;s kingdom on earth.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>May the good Lord depend on you to do it in Jesus name.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Let us pray.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Stopping the devil from doing evil is part of your ministry.
