The rewards are indescribable.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It will benefit you in this life and the world to come.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Bible affirms the benefits of well doing in both old and new testaments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>New testament.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hebrews&nbsp; 13:1 Let brotherly love continue.&nbsp; 13:2 Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.&nbsp; 13:3 Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hebrews&nbsp; 6:10 For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2 Corinthians&nbsp; 9:9 (As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Luke&nbsp; 6:38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Old testament.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Psalms&nbsp; 41:1 Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the LORD will deliver him in time of trouble.&nbsp; 41:2 The LORD will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies.&nbsp; 41:3 The LORD will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Psalms&nbsp; 112:9 He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor; his righteousness endureth for ever; his horn shall be exalted with honour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Proverbs&nbsp; 14:21 He that despiseth his neighbour sinneth: but he that hath mercy on the poor, happy is he.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Proverbs&nbsp; 19:17 He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the LORD; and that which he hath given will he pay him again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The rewards after this life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Matthew&nbsp; 25:34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:&nbsp; 25:35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:&nbsp; 25:36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.&nbsp; 25:37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?&nbsp; 25:38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?&nbsp; 25:39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?&nbsp; 25:40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Endeavor to continue in well doing, you will be commensurately rewarded here and hereafter, if you continue till Christ comes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Let us pray.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Be not weary in well doing.
