THAT WHICH YOU HAVE ALREADY, HOLD FAST TILL I COME.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Revelation  2:25 But that which ye have already hold fast till I come.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The glorified resurrected Master and Lord spoke from glory to the  weak but faithful pastor of the church of <\/em><\/strong>Thyatira.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why he seemed to be forthright in many things, he could not stand firm to confront sin, been perpetrated by a devilish woman, who called her self Jezebel.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This woman was championing sins and making the weak members of the church to commit sin of fornication and eating things sacrifice to idols.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Very very unfortunately, the pastor failed to enforce discipline and stopped her from corrupting the church of Christ.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some commentators in some commentaries said, this woman was probably his wife.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, this woman could not influence negatively, the standing believers, despite her wits end wiles.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The gracious Lord commended the standing believers and exhorted them to hold fast the entirety of God’s words they have known and living by till He comes during the imminent rapture or the end of their lives.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Revelation  2:18 And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass;  2:19 I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last to be more than the first.  2:20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.  2:21 And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.  2:22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.  2:23 And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.  2:24 But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden.  2:25 But that which ye have already hold fast till I come.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

When is our Master and Lord coming?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

John  14:1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.  14:2 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.  14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

What do they have that you too must endeavor to have till He comes?<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Revelation  3:10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.  3:11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

They have the entirety of God’s words in the Bible.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

2 Timothy  3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:  3:17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

They had all the words that proceeded from the Lord’s mouth and living by them.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Matthew  4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

They are not picking and choosing what to believe in the Bible. They are living by the entirety of God’s words.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Revelation  22:18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:  22:19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is exactly what you must be doing to help you in particular to prepare adequately to partake in the imminent.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Revelation  3:11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

God’s unfailing grace will be sufficient for you to continue in the faith, meaning living by the entirety of God’s words in the Bible till Christ comes.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
