The blessings of walking in integrity of life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1 Kings 9:3 And the LORD said unto him, I have heard thy prayer and thy supplication, that thou hast made before me: I have hallowed this house, which thou hast built, to put my name there for ever; and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually. 9:4 And if thou wilt walk before me, as David thy father walked, in integrity of heart, and in uprightness, to do according to all that I have commanded thee, and wilt keep my statutes and my judgments: 9:5 Then I will establish the throne of thy kingdom upon Israel for ever, as I promised to David thy father, saying, There shall not fail thee a man upon the throne of Israel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There is a virtue that is very very rear to find among those who profess to be Christians today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is the virtue of honesty, truthfulness, uprightness etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Beloved, pause and sincerely examine yourself. Are you dependable? Is your yes yes and no no?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Can people really on you as somebody truthful, dependable, honest and faithful?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
God places great premium on saints like Joseph who are honest. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Genesis 39:7 And it came to pass after these things, that his master’s wife cast her eyes upon Joseph; and she said, Lie with me. 39:8 But he refused, and said unto his master’s wife, Behold, my master wotteth not what is with me in the house, and he hath committed all that he hath to my hand; 39:9 There is none greater in this house than I; neither hath he kept back any thing from me but thee, because thou art his wife: how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Christians like apostle Paul, who will rather remain in prison than to give bribe to the governor to secure his freedom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Acts 24:26 He hoped also that money should have been given him of Paul, that he might loose him: wherefore he sent for him the oftener, and communed with him. 24:27 But after two years Porcius Festus came into Felix’ room: and Felix, willing to shew the Jews a pleasure, left Paul bound.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Both in the old and new testaments, God delights in integrity ,honesty, truthfulness etc from His people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Psalms 26:1 Judge me, O LORD; for I have walked in mine integrity: I have trusted also in the LORD; therefore I shall not slide. 26:11 But as for me, I will walk in mine integrity: redeem me, and be merciful unto me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Proverbs 11:3 The integrity of the upright shall guide them: but the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Romans 12:17 Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Romans 13:13 Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
James 5:12 But above all things, my brethren, swear not, neither by heaven, neither by the earth, neither by any other oath: but let your yea be yea; and your nay, nay; lest ye fall into condemnation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Joseph came to relevance on account of honesty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The seven deacons were raised up in the church at Jerusalem on account of honesty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Acts 6:3 Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You also will be promoted and have access to heaven on account of honesty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Provebs 14:34 Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
May the good Lord help you to be among the few honest believers in Jesus name.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
