John 12:26 If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Don’t ever forget, you were saved to serve the Lord.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Exodus 4:22 And thou shalt say unto Pharaoh, Thus saith the LORD, Israel is my son, even my firstborn: 4:23 And I say unto thee, Let my son go, that he may serve me: and if thou refuse to let him go, behold, I will slay thy son, even thy firstborn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Exodus 8:1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, Go unto Pharaoh, and say unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Let my people go, that they may serve me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Don’t forget you are the Israel of God, you were brought to Christ’s kingdom, solely to serve Him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Galatians 6:16 And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But then, How do you serve Him?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1. Fear God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Deuteronomy 6:13 Thou shalt fear the LORD thy God, and serve him, and shalt swear by his name.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Deuteronomy 10:12 And now, Israel, what doth the LORD thy God require of thee, but to fear the LORD thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the LORD thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Luke 12:5 But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
2. Serve Him in sincerity. Be a person with integrity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Joshua 24:14 Now therefore fear the LORD, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the LORD.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
3. Serve Him alone .<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1 Samuel 7:3 And Samuel spake unto all the house of Israel, saying, If ye do return unto the LORD with all your hearts, then put away the strange gods and Ashtaroth from among you, and prepare your hearts unto the LORD, and serve him only: and he will deliver you out of the hand of the Philistines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Exodus 34:14 For thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
4. Serve Him in truth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1 Samuel 12:24 Only fear the LORD, and serve him in truth with all your heart: for consider how great things he hath done for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
5. Serve Him with a perfect heart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1 Chronicles 28:9 And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind: for the LORD searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if thou seek him, he will be found of thee; but if thou forsake him, he will cast thee off for ever.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
6. Serve Him, trembling at His words.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Psalms 2:11 Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Isaiah 66:2 For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
7. Serve Him with joy and goodness whatever betide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Psalms 100:2 Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
8. Serve Him with a heart of worship and adoration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Matthew 4:10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
9. Serve Him wholeheartedly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Romans 12:11 Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Colossians 3:23 And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; 3:24 Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
10. Serve Him by living by the entirety of the doctrines of the Bible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Romans 16:17 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. 16:18 For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1 Timothy 4:16 Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When you do this God will reward you with earthly and eternal blessings beyond your widest dreams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
