{"id":18146,"date":"2026-03-25T20:35:36","date_gmt":"2026-03-25T19:35:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/clcbconline.com\/?p=18146"},"modified":"2026-03-25T20:35:37","modified_gmt":"2026-03-25T19:35:37","slug":"grace-not-a-license-for-sin","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/clcbconline.com\/index.php\/2026\/03\/25\/grace-not-a-license-for-sin\/","title":{"rendered":"Grace not a license for sin."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>GRACE NOT A LICENCE FOR SIN.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Titus&nbsp; 2:11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,&nbsp; 2:12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;&nbsp; 2:13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;&nbsp; 2:14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is very very unfortunate and disheartening to know that many churchgoers globally have a misunderstanding about grace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Their thinking is that grace is a license for sin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sometimes ago I was speaking to a churchgoer about His lifestyle. His response to me was, are we not in the period of grace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They felt because we are in this period, they can afford to be sinning with impunity and grace will cover it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Bible says a different thing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Always remember, it is grace in your life that will help you to walk as a wise virgin and adequately prepare for the imminent rapture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;Titus&nbsp; 2:11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,&nbsp; 2:12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;&nbsp; 2:13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Grace is never and will never ever be a license for sin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Romans&nbsp; 6:1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?&nbsp; 6:2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Grace is the enablement we receive from God that helps us to live victorious lifestyle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>GRACE:&nbsp; God&#8217;s riches at Christ expense.&nbsp; God&#8217;s righteousness at Christ expense. God&#8217;s redemption at Christ expense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Grace is a accessible by all men and it empowers all of us to be Christlike and godly in every areas of our lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Titus&nbsp; 2:11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,&nbsp; 2:12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Through grace you are dead to sin and alive unto God in righteousness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Romans&nbsp; 6:1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?&nbsp; 6:2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;6:6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.&nbsp; 6:11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;6:12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.&nbsp; 6:13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.&nbsp; 6:15 What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.&nbsp; 6:16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Spiritual enablement is endowed to all faithful Followers of Christ through grace to overcome all sins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Romans&nbsp; 5:17 For if by one man&#8217;s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)&nbsp; 5:18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.&nbsp; 5:19 For as by one man&#8217;s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.&nbsp; 5:20 Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:&nbsp; 5:21 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you really desire to live with God eternally, then ask for abundance of grace to be free from all sins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Romans&nbsp; 5:20 Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hebrews&nbsp; 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The good Lord will help you in particular in Jesus name.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Let us pray.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>GRACE NOT A LICENCE FOR SIN.
