To have a peaceful ending.

You must always be thoughtful of where you are going to spend eternity.

Deuteronomy 32:29 O that they were wise, that they understood this, that they would consider their latter end!

Proverbs 19:20 Hear counsel, and receive instruction, that thou mayest be wise in thy latter end.

I pray for you in particular to have a peaceful ending.

There are two eternal ends.

Matthew 25:46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

Matthew 25:46 (AMP) Then they will go away into eternal punishment, but those who are just and upright and in right standing with God into eternal life.

Those who are not upright will end up in torment while the upright will end in comfort.

Luke 16:19 There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day: 16:20 And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores, 16:22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; 16:23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. 16:24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. 16:25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.

The upright will rest for ever in eternity.

Revelation 14:13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.

The reverse is the case for the imperfect.

Revelation 14:10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: 14:11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night,

How can you attain this nature of a perfect man?

Psalms 37:37 Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace.

It is very simple, receive Jesus and be learning of Him and replicating it, through His all sufficient grace.

Matthew 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

You must learn two important things from Jesus.

First

John 6:38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.

You must be committed to doing nothing apart from God’s perfect will in everything you are doing like Christ.

Second

John 8:29 And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him.

You must as a matter of compulsion be living to please God in all things and at all times.

Not pleasing yourself or any other person whoever they are.

Romans 15:3 For even Christ pleased not himself; but, as it is written, The reproaches of them that reproached thee fell on me.

Galatians 1:10 For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.

So come to Christ, be biblically born again.

Reach out to Him to sanctify you.

Hebrews 13:12 Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate. 13:13 Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.

Then continue to learn of Him and replicating what you are learning till He comes.

Then your lifelong happiness and peaceful end are guaranteed in Jesus name.

Psalms 37:37 Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace.

Psalms 37:37 (AMP) Mark the blameless man and behold the upright, for there is a happy end for the man of peace.

Let us pray.

God’s unfailing blessings for perfect men and women.
