Psalms 5:12 For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Why will God bless the righteous?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1. Because He himself is righteous.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Psalms 145:17 The LORD is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
2. Jesus our Lord is righteous.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1 John 2:1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Biblical righteousness makes you to hate iniquity like Jesus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Hebrews 1:8 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. 1:9 Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
What are the blessings the biblical righteousness shall receive from: the Lord?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1. Favor <\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Enjoy the work of their hands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Isaiah 3:10 Say ye to the righteous, that it shall be well with him<\/p>\n\n\n\n
3. Exaltation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Proverbs 14:34 Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
4. Eternal blessings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
God is set to bless you but you must be biblically righteous.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
