Learning from Christ <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Matthew 11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Every believers of all ages have something in common, learning from Christ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If you will resolve to learn from Christ, then here your well-being is guaranteed and hereafter, your eternity with God is secured.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You have so much to learn from Him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He lived a sanctified lifestyle that must be the example of all believers of all ages and that includes you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
John 17:19 And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He left example for you to follow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1 Peter 2:21 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Listen to some of the things to learn from Him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He came to seek and save the lost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Luke 19:10 For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Praying for sinners not to be lost <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Luke 22:31 And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: 22:32 But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He began His ministry with prayers and ended with praying.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Luke 3:21 Now when all the people were baptized, it came to pass, that Jesus also being baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened, <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Luke 22:41 And he was withdrawn from them about a stone’s cast, and kneeled down, and prayed, 22:42 Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done. 22:43 And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him. 22:44 And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He forgive offenders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Luke 23:34 Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He did His Father’s will.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
John 4:34 Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
John 6:38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He was taught by the Father.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
John 8:28 Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
He lived to please the Father at whatever cost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
John. 8:29 And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Luke 3:22 And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He did His Father’s work <\/p>\n\n\n\n
John 9:4 I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He kept the Father’s commandments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
John 10:17 Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. 10:18 No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
John 12:49 For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. 12:50 And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
John 14:31 But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He finished His Father’s assignment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
John 17:4 I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He lived a sanctified lifestyle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
John 17:19 And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He lived the lifestyle of humility and obedience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Philippians 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: 2:6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: 2:7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: 2:8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He endured the cross.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Hebrews 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He left example for all believers to follow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1 Peter 2:21 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: 2:22 Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth: 2:23 Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously: 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Endeavor to learn from Christ and replicate His lifestyle for the world to see and bring them to His kingdom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
