God’s guidance for His people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Psalms 48:14 For this God is our God for ever and ever: he will be our guide even unto death.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
One of the things God provides for His people of all ages, is divine guidance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This becomes imperative because without it, they are blind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Isaiah 42:16 And I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them. 42:19 Who is blind, but my servant? or deaf, as my messenger that I sent? who is blind as he that is perfect, and blind as the LORD’s servant?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Joshua in his lifetime made some costly mistakes. The reason was because, he failed to seek guidance from God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Joshua 9:14 And the men took of their victuals, and asked not counsel at the mouth of the LORD.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Prophet Samuel would have anointed Eliab as king in place of David <\/p>\n\n\n\n
1 Samuel 16:6 And it came to pass, when they were come, that he looked on Eliab, and said, Surely the LORD’s anointed is before him. 16:7 But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart. 16:12 And he sent, and brought him in. Now he was ruddy, and withal of a beautiful countenance, and goodly to look to. And the LORD said, Arise, anoint him: for this is he.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Because of the tendency to walk into the trap of the enemies with ease, the Lord promised to be guiding His obedient children, at all times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Psalms 32:8 I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Isaiah 48:17 Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go. 48:18 O that thou hadst hearkened to my commandments! then had thy peace been as a river, and thy righteousness as the waves of the sea:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Psalms 23:3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. 23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This guidance will profit His people immensely, when they listened to Him at all times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Proverbs 1:33 But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When they made decisive decisions to avoid evil plots of the enemies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Proverbs 22:3 A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Proverbs 27:12 A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself; but the simple pass on, and are punished.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
God provides ceaseless guidance to the meek and the righteous.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Psalms 25:9 The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Proverbs 8:20 I lead in the way of righteousness, in the midst of the paths of judgment:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Isaiah 58:11 And the LORD shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
God guides His people all though life, even unto glory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Psalms 73:24 Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He is still doing same today through His holy Spirit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Lord promised to guide you, if you will harken unto Him wholeheartedly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
