Cleaving to God till Christ comes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Acts 11:22 Then tidings of these things came unto the ears of the church which was in Jerusalem: and they sent forth Barnabas, that he should go as far as Antioch. 11:23 Who, when he came, and had seen the grace of God, was glad, and exhorted them all, that with purpose of heart they would cleave unto the Lord.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Barnabas encouraged the gentile believers to cleave into the Lord with a purpose of heart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Both in the old and new testaments, Bible believing believers are admonished to cleave to Christ and not allow anything to separate them from Him, till He comes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Deuteronomy 10:20 Thou shalt fear the LORD thy God; him shalt thou serve, and to him shalt thou cleave, and swear by his name.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Why are you encouraged to cleave to God? It is because challenges of life can separate you from Him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Romans 8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 8:36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. 8:37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. 8:38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 8:39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So cleave to Christ till He comes for a secured eternity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Revelation 14:4 These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb. 14:5 And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
