. Psalms 23:1. <\/u><\/em><\/strong>The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We are dividing the study into three parts <\/p>\n\n\n\n 1. Jesus the Shepherd <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n 2. Jesus and the sheep <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n 3. Jesus and the sinners<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n 1. Jesus the Shepherd <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The greatest revelation of our Lord JESUS CHRIST is to know Him as shepherd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Your knowledge of Him in this office is both beautiful and dreadful. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The Holy Spirit through the gospel books of Mathew and John and the epistles of both Peter and Paul affirmed Christ Jesus as our Shepherd. <\/p>\n\n\n\n John 10:14. I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Hebrews 13:20. Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, <\/p>\n\n\n\n 1 Peter 5:4. And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Certainly and assuredly without any iota of doubt. Our Lord is the good, great and chief Shepherd of His people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 2. Jesus and the sheep<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n However, Jesus Christ in His capacity as a Shepherd will rewards only His followers with both temporal and eternal blessings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n John 10:27-28. <\/u><\/em><\/strong>My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n It is only the sheep who harken to His voice and receive eternal life from Him, that enjoys these blessings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Your attitude as a free moral agent created by God, determines, what you receive from JESUS our Shepherd. The door of opportunity is opened to you now to become a sheep, by accepting Him as your Lord and Savior, confess your sins, forsake them and join a bible believing church to continually fellowship with Him. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Taking this gracious step now, grant you access to all the blessings. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Earthly blessings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Psalms 23. The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: <\/p>\n\n\n\n Eternal blessings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Psalm 23. and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Matthew 25:31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: 25:32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: 25:33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. 25:34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 25:46 but the righteous into life eternal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Endeavor to be His sheep and benefit from these blessings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 3. Jesus and the sinners<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Unfortunately in this capacity also, He will reprimand sinners, referenced to in the bible as goats with severe eternal judgement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Matthew 25:31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: 25:32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: 25:33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. <\/p>\n\n\n\n 25:41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: 25:42 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: 25:43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. 25:44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? 25:45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. 25:46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Come now and become a sheep and partake of these incomparable blessings all through your life and for all eternity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Let us pray.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" The bible from the sixty six books revealed our Lord JESUS CHRIST.
