Good success your portion <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Joshua 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Good success certainly will be your portion, as you commit yourself wholly to doing what is written in the book of the Bible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To amplify Joshua 1:8, it simply means what our Lord said in this verse of Scripture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Matthew 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meaning your life must be regulated at all times and in all things by what the Bible says.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
What does the Bible says about good success?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1. Work diligently with your hands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1 Thessalonians 4:11 And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you; 4:12 That ye may walk honestly toward them that are without, and that ye may have lack of nothing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Psalms 1:3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Proverbs 22:29 Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
2. You must be doing your business in saintliness not in ungodliness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You must not be conformed to the practices of the ungodly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You must not be slothful or lazy but an authority on what you are doing, a professional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You must be honest, be trustworthy and having integrity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Proverbs 14:34 Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
12:11 Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord; <\/p>\n\n\n\n
12:17 Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men<\/p>\n\n\n\n
3. You must live with eternity in view and never gain anything at the expense of your precious undying soul.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Matthew 16:26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
4. You must be paying your tithes to your church, contributing always to kingdom development, meaning anything done in your church to advance God’s kingdom. You must create time to partake in preaching the gospel and winning souls for Christ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Proverbs 3:9 Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase: 3:10 So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Malachi 3:10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. 3:11 And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts. 3:12 And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the LORD of hosts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Luke 19:13 And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
5. Living in readiness for the coming of the Lord as a wise virgin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Luke 21:34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. 21:35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. 21:36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Doing all of these will open a sustained door of good success to you in your life endeavors and also guaranteed eternity with God for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
