Matthew 24:44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Luke 19:13 And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
John 14:1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 14:2 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also<\/p>\n\n\n\n
.1 John 2:28 And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So it is established in the scriptures that our Lord is coming for us in the imminent rapture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But then how will it happen?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Luke 17:34 I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left. 17:35 Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left. 17:36 Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It will happen suddenly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1 Corinthians 15:51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So what must you do to be prepared and be ready, when He comes?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1. You must be biblically born again and become a new creature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. 3:7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
2. Be biblically sanctified and be Walking with God in daily biblical holiness lifestyle till He comes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
John 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Hebrews 13:12 Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate. 13:13 Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Luke 1:74 That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear, 1:75 In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
3. Be a wise virgin <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Matthew 25:1 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. 25:2 And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. 25:3 They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: 25:4 But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. 25:5 While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. 25:6 And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. 25:7 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. 25:8 And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. 25:9 But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. 25:10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. 25:11 Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. 25:12 But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not. 25:13 Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
4. Don’t pursue or trade your eternal wellbeing with transient things.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Luke 21:34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. 21:35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. 21:36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
5. Be living with eternity in view till He comes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Colossians 3:1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. 3:2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. 3:3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. 3:4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
6. Abide in Him till He comes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1 John 2:28 And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
7. Remain pure til He comes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1 John 3:1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. 3:3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The grace of God is sufficient for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
2 Corinthians 9:8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
