Reverencing our Father in heaven after the order of Jesus<\/p>\n\n\n\n
John 17:25 O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
No doubt, Jesus left worthwhile legacies for all Bible believing believers to follow. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
In deed He lived biblical sanctified lifestyle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
John 17:19 And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We must determinedly follow His faultless lifestyle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Matthew 11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
John 13:13 Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am. 13:14 If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another’s feet. 13:15 For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Our Lord reverenced His Father both in the private when He was alone with God or in the public, when multitude were there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Only our Father in heaven is the only reverend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Psalms 111:9 He sent redemption unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and reverend is his name.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He deserved to be reverenced by all and our Master and Lord Jesus Christ, through His lifestyle, revealed, how all Bible believing believers of all ages, including you must reverence Him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
God the Father, is the Father of our Lord and ourselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
John 20:17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Our Lord Jesus Christ both in the private and public reverenced our Father in heaven.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You are under compulsion to always reverence our Father, the only reverend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Hebrews 12:28 Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Listen again to how our Lord Jesus Christ, reverence His Father and your Father.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1. He called the Father righteous Father.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
John 17:25 O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
2. Our Lord in humility to our Father in heaven acknowledged somethings, which were exclusive reserve of the Father.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mark 13:32 But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Acts 1:6 When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? 1:7 And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
3. He said the Father is greater than Him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
John 14:28 Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
John 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: 10:28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. 10:29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
4. He kept His Father’s commandments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
14:31 But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
John 12:49 For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. 12:50 And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
5. Taught by the Father and pleased Him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
John 8:28 Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things. 8:29 And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
6. Doing the will of the Father.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
John 4:34 Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
John 6:38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mark 14:34 And saith unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful unto death: tarry ye here, and watch. 14:35 And he went forward a little, and fell on the ground, and prayed that, if it were possible, the hour might pass from him. 14:36 And he said, Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
7. He did and complete the assignment, the Father gave Him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
John 9:4 I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
John 17:4 I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
8. He was always thankful to the Father.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Matthew 11:25 At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes. 11:26 Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in thy sight. 11:27 All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He has left example for all of us to follow His steps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1 Peter 2:21 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Receive grace to embrace and replicate it in Jesus name.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
