Jesus lived to Please God. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
John 8:29 And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This was the testimony of our master and Lord Jesus Christ, that He pleased the Father. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Matthew 3:16 And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: 3:17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Matthew 17:5 While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
These were the testimonials of our gracious Father in heaven, that, He was well pleased with our master and Lord Jesus Christ. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
There were several evidences in the Bible, that our Master and Lord Jesus Christ, actually pleased the Father. Listen to some of them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
John 4:34 Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
John 5:30 I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
John 6:38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
John 14:31 But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
John 15:10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
John 17:4 I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The blessed Holy Spirit gave testimonies that our Lord Jesus Christ actually pleased the Father. Listen. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Hebrews 5:8 Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; 5:9 And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Hebrews 7:26 For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Hebrews 10:5 Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me: 10:6 In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure. 10:7 Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God. 10:8 Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law; 10:9 Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second. 10:10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1 John 2:1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There were saints of God also who lived to Please God. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Paul. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Galatians 1:10 For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Enoch <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Hebrews 11:5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
John the beloved. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
1 John 3:22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The blessed Holy Spirit is enjoining even you too, to please God. Be obedient to heaven bound ministers God has placed over you. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Colossians 3:20 Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto the Lord.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Receive grace to do so in Jesus name. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
