1 Thessalonians 5:23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n What is biblical blamelessness? <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The Bible itself can tell us. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n 1 Thessalonians 3:13 To the end he may stablish your hearts unblameable in holiness before God, even our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Colossians 1:22 In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Philippians 1:10 That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ;<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n 1 Corinthians 1:8 Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Jude 1:24 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n To be biblically blameless is to be biblically holy. <\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n No wonder severally in the scriptures, Bible believing believers are called to holiness from both the old and new testaments.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n 2 Corinthians 7:1 Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and Spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Ephesians 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; 5:26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, 5:27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n 1 Peter 1:14 As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: 1:15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; 1:16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Leviticus 11:44 For I am the LORD your God: ye shall therefore sanctify yourselves, and ye shall be holy; for I am holy: neither shall ye defile yourselves with any manner of creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. 11:45 For I am the LORD that bringeth you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: ye shall therefore be holy, for I am holy.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Leviticus 19:1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, 19:2 Speak unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say unto them, Ye shall be holy: for I the LORD your God am holy.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Leviticus 20:7 Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be ye holy: for I am the LORD your God. 20:26 And ye shall be holy unto me: for I the LORD am holy, and have severed you from other people, that ye should be mine.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Revelation 22:11 He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. 22:12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n How will you be holy?<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n That was exactly why Jesus came to the earth. His earthly ministry was geared towards making you holy.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Matthew 1:21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Jesus will save His people from their sins. <\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Both outward sins, biblical salvation and inward sins biblical sanctification.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Salvation is the first work of grace.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. 3:7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Ye must be born again and become new creature.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Then sanctification is the second work of grace, subsequent to salvation.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n John 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. <\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Our Lord Jesus Christ prayed for the sanctification of His saved disciples.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n He did same thing for you, after you have been biblically saved. He prayed for your sanctification.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n John<\/strong>17:20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n I am persuaded that these should be your personal experiences.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Because it is so, continue to the end.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n 1 Corinthians 1:8 Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n 1 John 3:1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. 3:3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n But then you can grow in sanctification experience.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n 2 Timothy 2:19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. 2:20 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour. 2:21 If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n 2 Peter 3:18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n But then what if you have not been saved. Grace to be saved has been made available for all without exception.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Titus 2:11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, 2:12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; 2:13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; 2:14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Then after biblical salvation come to Jesus for Biblical sanctification.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Hebrews 13:12 Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate. 13:13 Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Through His grace we live a blameless lifestyle till He comes.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Philippians 2:15 That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n This life of blamelessness was what Jesus left for us all as an example to follow and replicate.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n John 17:19 And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Hebrews 7:26 For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Human beings can not fault His blameless lifestyle.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n John 8:46 Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me?<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n satan can not also. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n John 14:30 Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Tempted but without sin. <\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Hebrews 4:14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. 4:15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n That is His expectations and He can keep us blameless till He comes.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Jude 1:24 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, 1:25 To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever.
