Jesus’s exemplary lifestyle of commitment to doing His Father’s perfect will. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

John  6:38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beloved Brethren this word spoken by our Lord Jesus Christ was a true picture of what His earthly ministry consisted of.  <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

From the outset of His ministry, till it was culminated on the cross and He gave up the ghost. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

He was conscientiously committed to doing His Father’s perfect will.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Philippians  2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:  2:6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:  2:7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:  2:8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even when the revealed will was  very very difficult. He still was committed to doing it.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Matthew  26:39 And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.  26:40 And he cometh unto the disciples, and findeth them asleep, and saith unto Peter, What, could ye not watch with me one hour?  26:41 Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.  26:42 He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Listen to what some other scriptures says about His determined conscientios commitment to doing His Father’s perfect will. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

John  4:34 Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

John  5:30 I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The blessed Holy Spirit also said some things about this exemplary lifestyle. <\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Romans  15:3 For even Christ pleased not himself; but, as it is written, The reproaches of them that reproached thee fell on me.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hebrews  5:8 Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even before our Lord came there was a prophesy that when the expected Messiah comes, He will be committed to doing the perfect will of God. <\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Psalms  40:7 Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me,  40:8 I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

To the glory of God, our Lord fulfill this prophecy in entirety. <\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hebrews  10:7 Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.  10:8 Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law;  10:9 Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

But then remember, He left this as an example for you to embrace and replicate as a lifestyle, knowing fully that His grace shall be sufficient for you in particular. <\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1 Peter  2:21 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

God’s grace will be sufficient for you in particular all through your life in Jesus mighty name. <\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

2 Corinthians  9:8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

So continue to do this, if you have been doing it before. But if not, start from now and begin to do it, till our Lord Jesus Christ comes. <\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let us pray. <\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
