Working with your hands for God’s breakthrough through Christ.
Psalms 1:1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. 1:2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. 1:3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
The godly man that will experience breakthrough through Christ in the work of his hands will be doing three things, till Christ comes.
1.
God is going to get involved in the business of a man, who abhor ungodly practices. He will bless the work of any man who is not unequally yoked together with sinners and decline doing what they do. God will bless the business of a man, who is righteous in the conduct of business and discourage multitude from practicing evil.
On the other hand, God will have nothing to do with anyone who practices evil in the conduct of his business. He will frown and ensure the business of the wicked does not prosper. He will put measures in place to ensure continual frustration of the pursuit of the reprobate.
2 Chronicles 20:35 And after this did Jehoshaphat king of Judah join himself with Ahaziah king of Israel, who did very wickedly: 20:36 And he joined himself with him to make ships to go to Tarshish: and they made the ships in Eziongaber. 20:37 Then Eliezer the son of Dodavah of Mareshah prophesied against Jehoshaphat, saying, Because thou hast joined thyself with Ahaziah, the LORD hath broken thy works. And the ships were broken, that they were not able to go to Tarshish.
2.
But then the godly man who abhors evil practices of the wicked, will commit himself to seeking and doing God’s laws in all his endeavors.
Ezra 7:10 For Ezra had prepared his heart to seek the law of the LORD, and to do it, and to teach in Israel statutes and judgments.
Acts 1:1 The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach,
Lastly, the godly man will be diligent in the handling of his business.
Proverbs 22:29 Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.
Proverbs 10:4 He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich.
Proverbs 12:24 The hand of the diligent shall bear rule: but the slothful shall be under tribute.
Romans 12:11 Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;
God prospered the business venture of Isaac, He will do same for you as you follow godly practices and diligent conduct.
Genesis 26:12 Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the LORD blessed him. 26:13 And the man waxed great, and went forward, and grew until he became very great: 26:14 For he had possession of flocks, and possession of herds, and great store of servants: and the Philistines envied him.
God will do what He did for Isaac for you too in Jesus name.
