Lordship of Jesus Christ.

Philippians  2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:  2:6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:  2:7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:  2:8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.  2:9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:  2:10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;  2:11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Always remember, Christ Jesus is Lord.

True, He came to this world to save humanity and you in particular, from both outward and inward sins.

Matthew  1:21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

John  4:42 And said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world.

But then in addition to being Saviour, He is Lord also.

Luke  2:11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.

Many scriptures affirmed that Jesus Christ is Lord.

John  13:13 Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am.

John  20:28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My LORD and my God.

Acts  2:36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.

Acts  10:36 The word which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all:)

Romans  14:9 For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.

1 Corinthians  8:6 But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.

1 Corinthians  12:3 Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.

1 Corinthians  15:47 The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.

Revelation  17:14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.

The greatest problem of 90% of churchgoers globally is that, they wholeheartedly accept Jesus as Saviour but subtely reject Him as Lord.

Listen to what our Lord Himself said.

Luke  6:46 And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?

Pause and sincerely examine yourself on this eternity defining question.

Do you do things Jesus said as your Lord or flagrantly reject His Lordship?

This is the singular request that determines where you are going to spend eternity.

Matthew  7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.  7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?  7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Let Jesus Christ reign over you as Lord.  Be obedient to Him, wholeheartedly.

Then here and hereafter, it shall be well with you and your precious undying soul.

Revelation  17:14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.

Let us pray.
