Behold I will do new things.

by Bishop Peter Babalolain Devotional

I will do new things.

Isaiah  43:18 Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.  43:19 Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.

God promised to do new things, concerning every concerns and challenges in our lives.

This He has been doing since eternity past.

He is God , He has not changed. He can do it again.

Malachi  3:6 For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.

He is able to do far beyond your widest dreams.

Ephesians  3:20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,

In the time past, He had raised even the dead, Lazarus had been dead four days.

So whatever your concerns, they shall turn to testimonies in Jesus name.

Luke  21:13 And it shall turn to you for a testimony.

What new thing do you want Him to do?

You must ask Him.

Listen to new thing done for this person that asked.

1 Chronicles  4:9 And Jabez was more honourable than his brethren: and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, Because I bare him with sorrow.  4:10 And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.

Listen to another person.

Genesis  21:1 And the LORD visited Sarah as he had said, and the LORD did unto Sarah as he had spoken.  21:2 For Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him.  21:6 And Sarah said, God hath made me to laugh, so that all that hear will laugh with me.  21:7 And she said, Who would have said unto Abraham, that Sarah should have given children suck? for I have born him a son in his old age.

He wants to do new things for you beyond this world.

Revelation  21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.  21:2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.  21:3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.  21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.  21:5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

To be part of this new thing, you must be biblically saved and sanctified.

Your name must be written in the book of life.

God wants to do new things for you, but you must ask Him.

Matthew  7:11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

Ask Him for the new thing you want.

Isaiah  43:18 Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.  43:19 Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.

Let us pray.
