Your healing and deliverance through Christ.

Your healing and deliverance through Christ’s name

John  14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.  14:13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.  14:14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

John  16:23 And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.  16:24 Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.

Acts  3:1 Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour.  3:2 And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple;  3:3 Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms.  3:4 And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us.  3:5 And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them.  3:6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.  3:7 And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.  3:8 And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.

Acts  8:5 Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them.  8:6 And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did.  8:7 For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed.  8:8 And there was great joy in that city.

Acts  16:16 And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying:  16:17 The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of salvation.  16:18 And this did she many days. But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour.

But then who are the people to use that name?

Mark  16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.  16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.  16:17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;  16:18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

Matthew  10:1 And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.  10:7 And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.  10:8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.

Healing through Jesus’s name takes more than fasting and prayers or even anointing.

It takes obedience to Christ’s command on the great commission.

We have many instances of this even in the old testament.

God’s blessings tied to service.

Exodus  23:25 And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.  23:26 There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil.

Isaiah  54:17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.

Peter healed the lame man when they were on their way to preach the gospel.

Phillip experienced miracles while preaching Christ.

Paul experienced same white preaching.

But then to preach the gospel, you must have been saved and sanctified.

2 Timothy  2:6 The husbandman that laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits.  2:7 Consider what I say; and the Lord give thee understanding in all things.

Even today God can use you to heal the sick and deliver the oppressed.

But then you must meet the requisite of being biblically saved and  sanctified and obedient to Christ on the great commission.

The question is are you biblically saved?

Are you biblically sanctified?

Are you obeying our Lords command on the great commission?

Only if you have met these requisites can you be used of God in miraculous ministry.

Your disobedience can even impact negatively on your eternity with God.

Those who will be with Christ obeys Him in al things

Hebrews  5:9 And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;

May the Lord help you to be wise unto salvation in Jesus name.

Let us pray.
