Jesus from the book of Philippians

The bible from the book of Philippians reveals our Lord JESUS CHRIST as our joy.

Philippians 4:4.  Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.

 Philippians 3:1: Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not grievous, but for you it is safe.

Romans 12:12: Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;

JESUS CHRIST our Lord is the singular unspeakable joy of all His followers.

 It is having the person of JESUS to be ours for now and all eternity, that  spring unquenchable joy into the hearts and lives  of His people.

1. Saints  unspeakable Joy through Jesus.

2. Saints unavoidable jeopardy because of Jesus

3. Sinners  unfathomable judgement  because of Jesus

1. Saints  unspeakable Joy through Jesus.

Saints and faithful followers of Jesus have indescribable joy for knowing they belong Jesus.

 Nehemiah 8:10. Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the Lord is your strength.

Philippians 4:4.  Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.

 Philippians 3:1: Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not grievous, but for you it is safe.

Romans 12:12: Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;

            The one most needful thing for every mortal being in all generation is to cultivate an enduring lifelong relationship with CHRIST JESUS our Lord.

Luke 10:42. But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.

Having this done opens the door of unfathomable lifetime and eternal  blessings to the person.

    1 Corinthians 2:9.  But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

2. Saints unavoidable jeopardy because of Jesus

However, this laudable decision has is challenging consequences.

 John 16:33. These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

John  15:18 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.  15:19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.

John 17:14. I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

 Philippians 1:29. For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake;

Luke  9:23 And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.  9:24 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.

Truly, being a Christian or following CHRIST is not a bed of roses.

 The lack of knowledge about this all important truth makes many to make a shipwreck of their faith.

 Faithful and wholehearted following of The Lord will incur wrath and frown of the host of darkness.

It is at this time of brief difficulties, that JESUS alone becomes the inseparable joy of His followers.

Nothing of this world must separate us from the love of JESUS CHRIST, our Lord.

Romans 8:35.  Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

You must with a purpose of heart cleave to Jesus till He comes.

Acts  11:23 Who, when he came, and had seen the grace of God, was glad, and exhorted them all, that with purpose of heart they would cleave unto the Lord.

3. Sinners  unfathomable judgement  because of Jesus

Life without Christ is full of crisis.

       Dear friend outside of CHRIST is endless lifetime and eternal crisis.

 Every one on the face of the earth Christians and non Christians alike have challenges.

Those in CHRIST have refuge and the comfort of the Holy Spirit, during their brief challenges.

The reverse is the case for those outside of CHRIST.  They experience  persevering traumatic, tempestuous  lifetime and eternity of woes.

Luke  16:22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;  16:23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.  16:24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.

Revelation  14:10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:  14:11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night,

But you can avoid this imminent catastrophe.

All it will cost you is to receive JESUS CHRIST, the unspeakable gift and joy of His followers.

Why not make the move now?

2 Corinthians 6:2. (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.) you are welcome in the name of JESUS our joy. Shalom.

Let us pray.
