Jesus from the book of Galatians

The bible from the book of Galatians  reveals our Lord JESUS CHRIST as the Grace of God.

Galatians 1:6-7. I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.

Galatians 2:21.  I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.

JESUS CHRIST our Lord is the grace of God for all His followers. The meaning of grace is: God’s Riches at CHRIST Expense, God’s Redemption at CHRIST Expense, God’s Righteousness at CHRIST Expense.

God the Holy Spirit, used apostle Paul to refute the teachings of some Jewish leaders , that taught, that the believers must be circumcised and be subjected to Mosaic laws, before salvation can be genuine.

The epistle was a defense to the gospel of faith and not of works. Christians of all generations are called to faith and freedom in CHRIST JESUS.

Galatians 2:21. I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.

Galatians 5:1. Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

1.  Grace’s  without works, sufficient for salvation.

2. Gracious works of saints after salvation.

3. Great warning for sinners to be saved.

1.  Grace’s  without works, sufficient for salvation.

Today, many are deluded as to the true biblical meaning and means of genuine salvation.

Everything that must be done for  anyone to be saved, has been done by CHRIST.

His atonement is sufficient for reconciliation with God.

Acts 15:11: But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved, even as they.

Romans 5:2: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

1 Timothy 1:14: And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.

2 Timothy 2:1: Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.

Revelation 22:21: The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

Beloved, God’s riches, righteousness, redemption etc . comes only through the sacrificial death of our Lord.

His precious blood is sufficient to cleanse and set you free from all sins.

Simple faith in the eternal work of our Lord on the cross of calvary, opens you to becoming heir to God and joint heir with CHRIST.

You need no sacrifice of any sort or any work, before you can be genuinely saved.

The good news about it all is that it is free.

Romans 8:32.  He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?

2. Gracious works of saints after salvation.

All works done to earn salvation will amount to nothing.

They are broken cistern that can not hold water.

Isaiah  64:6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

Jeremiah  2:13 For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water.

Listen to example of such works.

Romans  10:1 Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.  10:2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.  10:3 For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.  10:4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

Luke  18:10 Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican.  18:11 The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.  18:12 I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.  18:13 And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.  18:14 I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

Galatians 2:21.  I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.

These works bring you into bondage.

Galatians  5:1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.  5:2 Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing.  5:3 For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.  5:4 Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.

Colossians  2:20 Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances,  2:21 (Touch not; taste not; handle not;  2:22 Which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men?  2:23 Which things have indeed a shew of wisdom in will worship, and humility, and neglecting of the body; not in any honour to the satisfying of the flesh.

All works done by any being of all generations will be meaningful, recognized and rewarded after salvation and not before.

Ephesians  2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:  2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.  2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

What are these good works?

Matthew  5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Acts  9:36 Now there was at Joppa a certain disciple named Tabitha, which by interpretation is called Dorcas: this woman was full of good works and almsdeeds which she did.  9:39 Then Peter arose and went with them. When he was come, they brought him into the upper chamber: and all the widows stood by him weeping, and shewing the coats and garments which Dorcas made, while she was with them.

1 Timothy  2:9 In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;  2:10 But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.

1 Timothy  5:9 Let not a widow be taken into the number under threescore years old, having been the wife of one man,  5:10 Well reported of for good works; if she have brought up children, if she have lodged strangers, if she have washed the saints’ feet, if she have relieved the afflicted, if she have diligently followed every good work.

But very very unfortunately, so many believers are found wanting today for good works to be done after biblical salvation.

Jeremiah  6:16 Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.

God is reminding you never ever to stop good works till Christ comes.

Galatians  6:9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.  6:10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

  3. Great warning for sinners to be saved.

This very moment, because of the imminence horrendous avoidable eternal pains, awaiting every unsaved soul, which is closer to them, than they think.

Psalms  9:17 The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.

Isaiah  55:6 Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:  55:7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

Ezekiel  33:11 Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?

Matthew  6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Matthew  7:13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:  7:14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.  7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.  7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?  7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

2 Corinthians  6:2 (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)

2 Peter  3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Please heed this momentous passionate plea of God the Son and God the Holy Spirit, to come now and receive CHRIST JESUS, God’s grace for a lifetime of peace with God and eternity of celebration.

Revelation 22:17. And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

Let us pray.
